I have been going to the Russell Street Dental Clinic for over 8 years. I love them. They have done a variety of dental procedures on me including removing my wisdom teeth, root canals and crowns, regular cleanings, night guards, and fillings. While they are a very busy office, they are always courteous and efficient. The hardest part about going here is calling them to make an appointment, the line is always busy. The prices are very reasonable, they use a sliding scale fee system. Since its so reasonable, Ive been able to pay out of pocket when I have been unemployed or lacking insurance so I havent had a gap in care like I have with primary care. If you are in need, this is THE clinic to go to but be sure to treat them with the respect and kindness they deserve. I find people who complain about them expect free or immediate service. They are doing the best they can with what they have. We are lucky to have this affordable public dental health option.

The care is great, the phone assistance...not so much. Each time that Ive called this damn clinic, I will be on hold for over 45 minutes. Most of the time I will NEVER get to talk to anyone. If you call before they close or before lunch and youre on hold like I was today (from 3:30 til 4:45) then what happens is the phone system will transfer you out of their queue and youll either be forced to leave a message where its a toss up as to whether they will call you back or not, or youll be transferred up to OHSU where they cant even access the dental clinics system.

I have received an excellent service from all my doctors, and dental assistants at this clinic, and I do not have any complaint about them at all. Moreover, Dr. Dmitris work is extremely detailed and professional. He is virtously emphatic and compassionate, and also treats his patients with the same dedicatiom. In addition, it is equally important to mention the customer service at the reception, they are attentive and always remember my name when I have an appointment. It seems hard to believe some negative comments when everything I experienced goes so well.

Russell Street Dental caters to low income people and do so in a manner which makes the low income population feel dignified. They are super professional. The service is as good as any non-educational, for profit facility and the donated equipment is more than adequate. The service is excellent, the staff is awesome and the dental hygienist Rosemary is fabulous! Lots of fun! My favorite person there!

I have been trying to set an appointment for the first time and no one EVER answered the phone! I was on hold for at least 10min before I left a message (before 3pm) 3 times now and never got a call back! I am on hold as we speak and its been 18min Ive been waiting! The thing is this is the only place I can go for dental care with my insurance! So cant even go somewhere else. I am in pain, people!

I am one who is pretty much afraid to go to the dentist but when I had an appointment here I can honestly say that they made me feel relaxed and okay! Dr. Eigner and her assistant were professional and thoughtful making everything as comfortable and painless as possible. (I had 16 teeth removed) It was BEST experience I have ever had at a dentist appointment. THANK YOU 2 THUMBS UP!!

Theyre professional and great. The ladies running the front desk are worth the visit alone! When people say theres "students" working on you, most of the time they are FOURTH YEAR STUDENTS about to graduate. Its not like some dental student that decided to be a dentist the night before. Paid $75 for them to x-ray one tooth I already knew needed to come out. Not a comprehensive exam at all. Doctor prescribed me penicillin, which I stated I was allergic to. Scheduled for an emergency extraction ten days later. Nurse told me the wrong date. No courtesy call. They literally cant count here. Its a scene from Idiocracy.

After they pulled a lot of teeth I had a small hole in the roof if my mouth for a year almost two kept saying nope nothing there finally went to the big school they found the root of my K9 embedded in the roof of my mouth guy was a real jerk then caught staph from them...Yes I hate that dirty place very unprofessional...

Last fall, I went in for a purely cosmetic, vanity project on my two chipped front teeth and this dental clinic did a fantastic job! They did exactly what I asked them to do and didnt pressure me with other dental issues. And they did the work at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I really appreciate their existence, a dentistry for low income patients is a God send. Its really hard to make an appointment, though. I wish they had a website. The main problem is that you dont get to have your own long term dentist. Every so often, its a new person. But other than that, great place.

Ive been going here for over 10 years and for it being an intern dentist clinic,I must say that their pretty good. You hardly have to wait in the lobby on a scheduled appointment and they are efficient. Staff is also friendly and caring.

Not worth it to go here. They give a very small discount so that patients can be guinea pigs for OHSU dental students. Better to pay a little more and get much better quality dentists with much better quality equipment.

Very Very Good !!!!!!!!!!!I have had 4 tooth extractions . Excellent care !!!!!! My Doctor and Nurses was patient, kind, gentle. if you need a Dentist. Rest your mind go to Russell street Dental Clinic.
