I was referred here by my doctor and I havent even had a chance to come here! Ive been calling for DAYS, during business hours Mon-Thurs avoiding their 12:00-1:30 lunch time and trying to leave a voicemail but I keep getting the same message; it is always full! I figured if this is how they normally operate I should avoid this place altogether. I cant imagine how I would get a hold of them if I was actually a patient here; so frustrating. The only reason I was trying to come here was because my insurance covered it, but I much rather pay somewhere else where they actually pick up their phone for starters. I will def. be going back to Comprehensive Dermatology in Long Beach, I dont know why I left there in the first place.

I was prescribed Fluorouracil 5% paste on Sep 24 and given a return appointment of Feb 22. After 1 week of application of the paste the expected scabs arose. After a few more days I decided to stop application because one of the scabs became bloody and the crater in the skin seemed too deep. I stopped application of the paste and for the next 3 weeks I used Neosporin to promote healing. I called in to Dr. Iwasaki to see if she would see me to instruct me as to what to do next. I was told by her office worker that Dr, Iwasaki said to use vaseline and abandon Neosporin. No luck as to her seeing me before February 22. I decided to stop self-medicating and seek help elsewhere.

Like most others, I cannot recommend this dermatologist. I had a few warts that I wanted removed, and she said she would not apply any treatment because she was afraid of scarring. Told me to just leave them alone, and as long as they dont grow in size, Ill be okay. Sorry but "wart not cancerous" is not an end result im okay with! I went to see Dr. Noah Craft, and they took care of all the warts on the first visit! Seeing this doctor was a huge waste of time, and I would encourage you to visit Dr. Noah Craft or Dr. Horowitz (Coast Dermatology) instead. They will ACTUALLY solve your problems!

I was very disappointed in her price of $400 to remove one mole. I did not have it done. I told my doctor and she told me to keep them. I only saw her once. I have tried to cancel my next appointment with her during normal business hours Monday, through Thursday, not at lunch and I keep getting the same recording over-and-over again. They never answer the telephone no matter what time you call. I ended up sending them a FAX to please cancel my appointment with her. No I cannot recommend her. Her prices are more like Beverly Hills than Torrance.

Doctor and staff were really nice and professional. I saw her a few times for treatment of alopecia on my face, my hair has grown back now. She also helped me diagnose a dermatitis condition, that a new hypertension medication had caused. I have seen her a few times and each time, she spends a lot of time with me. I have never been rushed at all. I felt that she truly cared about my well being. I would recommend this dermatologist to anyone who wants quality care!

Fantastic Dermatologist. Takes time to talk about treatment options. I have had only positive experiences with Dr. Iwasaki. I am not sure why other reviewers feel the way they do. If any Doctor gives treatment/cream and a reaction occurs, call the office and tell them. No Doctor is a mind reader, not all treatments work for all people. I have always been able to get through to make an appointment, and I find the staff as remarkable as the doctor.

Great Dermatologist. She helped me with a condition I have suffered with for years. Once it started clearing up it brought me to tears. I had been to other derms in the past and I felt they were in it for the money. Dr Iwasaki actually cares about her patients. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and overall a wonderful physician. If you want a great dermatologist go to Dr Iwasaki, NOW!

Ive been to a few dermatologists, and this office is by far the best. State of the art technology in a beautifully clean office. Dr. Iwasaki is extremely prompt with excellent bedside manner. After my first visit, Ill be taking my family to this office for years to come.
