/12/2017 This is how I would describe Dr Larian; Dishonest, unprofessional and rude!!! And I mean it! My husband had an appointment with him to remove his skin tags from his face and neck area. When I called to make an appointment I explained how he quoted us $300 for the whole treatment. Then the receptionist put me on hold to check the file and came back and confirmed that the treatment would be $300 and that there would be no additional charges. When we went in to have the treatment done, he made us wait in the room for 25 minutes, then he came in and started removing the skin tags which were pretty painful to the point that my husband had to stop him. It was then when he started numbing the tags which made it bearable. I guess it was too much work for him to anesthetize the tags from the beginning!!! When he was done with the face we noticed he is wrapping up to leave the room, so I asked him so Dr Larian what about his neck? Oh, thats when all hell broke loose. He got so angry and he took the freezing spray and while he was spraying my poor husbands neck area he started telling us with frustration that next time you make sure you tell my front office to book a longer appointment!!! Like I have to manage his office. I had already checked and confirmed with the front office and actually if he had come in on time he would have had time and then some to finish the whole treatment. Then he stepped out. Now as we were shocked at his behavior we went to the front office to pay for the treatment. This is when they slammed us with $370 bill. When I refused to pay the manager came and he said all she could do was reducing it to $350. Not wanting to make a scene we paid and left telling them we would never go back and they lost us as patients. Now as we got home I noticed that he did not even spray directly on the tags and the skin next to the tags were all burned and red. Can you even believe this? This could have been a lawsuit, but we decided to let it go knowing what goes around comes around. Sure he is doctor but a human and some day he will need other humans help and I hope he will be treated the same way and pay for his dishonesty. I wish I had a choice to give him no star because he does not even deserve even one!!!!!!

Dr. Lisa Benest came highly recommended but Im very hard to please, being the daughter of a prominent dermatologist who started the legendary Current News in Dermatology (The Schoch Letter). I had seen other dermatologists who didnt measure up do I didnt know what to expect. In every way, Dr. Benest is the best at what she does. Shes not only an excellent physician, but also a detective (often necessary with skin disorders) and an extraordinary human being. Unlike those doctors so afraid of a lawsuit, theyll remove a freckle, she knows what needs attention and what doesnt. And she understands the demands of a career in entertainment and all the things that can be done to make a person look better without surgery, which I refuse to have. Doctor, artist and friend to her patients, Dr. Benest is the real deal.

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Benest; she is very professional, caring, and an excellent communicator. The office staff and medical providers are very accommodating for busy schedules and immediate needs; with Saturday hours. Ive had a skin issue throughout my whole life and Dr. Benest was the ONLY dermatologist that could help me with my problem. I was amazed that Dr. B was able to resolve my issue within a short period of time.While being thorough with her questions that really got down to the root of my problem she was also very compassionate to my condition. I highly recommend her...shes awesome. Thank you Dr. Benest...I love my skin. I also have to mention that the staff is very respectful, caring and friendly.

Dr. Lisa Benest is an exceptionally brilliant doctor. I trust her completely to fully understand what is going on with my skin and fully handle it. I have been seeing her since 2004 and she has handled precancerous bumps I get from sun exposure, and cancerous spots as well. Dr. Benest found a melanoma on my leg that got surgically extracted and thanks to her it was caught and never spread. Shes a stellar doctor and I would recommend her to anyone!!!!!

Im happy with the service I received from Dr. Larian. He was very professional and helpful in handling what I came to see him about. I would recommend him to others. After seeing him I decided to see Dennie for a laser treatment. I was very happy with her consultation and then treatment. She explained everything step by step so I knew exactly what to expect. The treatment was quick and almost painless and Im happy with the result.

Thank you Dr. Benest for nothing. Took in a perscription to the pharmacy which they needed clarification on because of the way it was written, the doses were too high. I have been waiting on these pills for 3 hours and they are typically ready in 20 minutes. I dont see how it takes 3 hours to clarify a perscription, it just shows me that you dont really take your patients health issues seriously.

I no longer live in LA, but I advise her office when I am coming in to town and they always find a place for me...without an attitude! Everyone I have encountered there is a true professional. Dr Benest has treated me for over 8 years now. I started with her with terrible acne. My complexion is beautiful now! Over the years I have gone to her for the icky stuff like warts and rashes and acne, but I also tried Laser Hair Removal, which is a god send!
