I have been extremely satisfied with the care and treatment of my dogs by Dr. Jennifer and her staff. Having hunting and field trial Labradors I need a vet that can go beyond the normal city veteran’s knowledge and care of household pets. Dr. Jennifer has been as good as her predecessor (Dr. Tom Holcomb) with my labs when it comes to treating them for issues encountered in field work as well as the usual pet ailments. The information and consultation regarding issues with our dogs provided by Dr. Jennifer and her staff has been excellent. She and her staff are also compassionate for the animals they treat. We recently had to put down our fourteen year old lab and it was like they had lost a member of their family too. There are a lot of veterans in my area of West Des Moines, but I drive to The Animal Hospital of Adel because that’s where my dogs get the care and treatment I require for them.

Dr. Jennifer Hoffelmeyer is truly one of the best veterinarians I have ever encountered. Her passion for animals and their care exceeds all expectations. She excels at providing top-notch and up-to-date medical care. Her facility is always extremely clean and pleasant to visit. Her staff members are always friendly and eager to help. When visiting The Animal Hospital of Adel you are treated like a good friend, not just a client. Dr. Jennifer and her staff treat your pet as their very own, which is extremely comforting. Dr. Jennifer listens to your concerns and answers all of your questions at each visit. Even though I have moved out of state, I still take all of my pets to The Animal Hospital of Adel to see Dr. Jennifer, because I know it would be impossible to find better care.

We could not be more pleased with the service and attention that is given to our pets. The staff is so sincere and genuine. When we made the decision to put our Cocker down after 16 yrs of unconditional love, my husband and myself were really having a hard time. Dr Jennifer allowed us all the time we wanted with him before she came in. You could tell the process was not easy for her either as her eyes started to water. She also provided 24/7 care of our Japanese Chin puppy who got extremely ill. She would take him home with her in the evenings and also took him home during the week-end to provide the care he needed. She treats her pets has her own and explains in detail what the issue is. I strongly recommend The Animal Hospital of Adel, You wont be disappointed!

I am really pleased with my new vet facility. Dr. Jen and her staff are very friendly and helpful. My dogs have never, and my little ole gal is 15 years old, had as comprehensive of an exam as she had there. She recently got a UTI and Dr. Jen did the most cost effective procedures to diagnose Nellie, She also gives very good options and is quite sensitive to an animals quality of life. Thanks so much, Dr. Jen and staff!

My first experience with Dr. Jennifer and her staff was to let go of a pet. They understood that she was not just a pet, but also a child to me. They were caring as if they new the cat for years. Since then I have brought my other cats there too. I love the service I get and feel the staff cares about my pets as if they are theirs. Great place to go!

The Staff is amazing and always extremely knowledgeable. I have taken both my dogs there and will continue to always! they are great on the prices and i always trust that my babies are being cared for. The free samples they provide also are a huge plus when you dont have the money to spend on something your animals might not do OK with. love them!

We actually brought 4 animals to Dr. Jennifer at the same time. There were no complaints and even the animals were not too stressed about it. We thought one cat would give issues and even she was nice to Dr. Jennifer. I would recommend anyone come to this vet.
