My first visit to this place with dog #1 was pleasant, a female Vet tended to us and she was very nice and I had a good feeling about it becoming our new Vets office. My second visit with dog #2 was ridiculous however, and Ive decided not to do further business there. In a nutshell we were seen by an older gentleman Vet who made several racist comments with regards to my last name (all with a smile, so I suspect he didnt realize how offensive he was coming off, sadly for him), as if that should have anything at all to do with having my pet examined. I walked out of there stunned by this and it basically turned me off for good. If that isnt enough, I will mention that while I sat in the waiting room that day I witnessed another patient become upset with the staff when she noticed on her bill that they had administered a Rabies shot to her pet without her consent or inquiry as to when the pet had last had one. It appeared that was not the reason for her visit, and she was very concerned that her pet could experience negative side effects. She also very calmly refused to pay for it, but they didnt seem willing to remove the charge nor acknowledge their mistake with any real compassion. Weve since taken our business up the street to Antioch Animal Hospital, and receive 5 star treatment every time.

First of all I was told from one the veterinarians that, "We are a place of business and not a charity!" My family has been going there since 1990. Dr. Rokey was a wonderful man who truly cared about animals. The current owners of the clinic care only about the money. I have been loyal client and have always paid my veterinary bill on time. My 14 yr old dog was suffering from very painful swollen and infected anal gland. This causes a severe amount of pain. It was 1 day before my payday and I begged then to allow me to postdate a check for the very next day. They said no but they would be glad to set up an appointment for the following day. They did not care about the suffering my animal was going through wanted to prolong her pain for another day. I could not believe this. Dr. Rokey would have never allowed an animal suffer. I took my dog 2 blocks up the street to Antioch Dog and cat. I told them I did not have the money to pay yet they took my dog right in. They care! I strongly advise anyone who cares about their pet not to use Foxwood.

Worst Experience I have ever had. Took My pom there several times paying them a total of $374 for them to keep misdiagnosing my dog with a uti putting her on antibiotics several times and getting us to purchase the uti dog food from them that was $50 dollars a bag. We ended up taking my dog to Independence Animal Hospital and they diagnosed her that day with Cancer. My dog lasted another month before she went to puppy heaven. It was never a UTI. Now they are wanting us to pay another $164 balance that is owed for them doing nothing!!! Oh but they have offered to take off a late charge and take it down to $120? For what? I will never use them again and I suggest taking your pet to Independence Animal Hospital where they actually figure out what is wrong with your pet and don’t try and take all of your money!

I dropped in the office as to purchase frontline whatever they said. I was never greeted... I said I was wanting to finding out about what to buy. The black big girl at the desk said just give me a minute the whole time holding my less than 5 pound puppy. I was then told they could only sell me one kid of flea medicine. One of the Vets came up she was great nice to me. Well I decided what I was going to buy . I needed to fill out some sheet . The rude black beast told me I had to have a leash on my dog I said oh he is fine in my arm as I do whatever writing. She said no you have to have a leash on him really then why have I been in here 5 min holding him . I said you know what I will go somewhere else....Bye Felicia

I put my sweet and much-loved dog, Riley, down yesterday at Foxwood. For all of the animals I have had and all the vet clinics I have been in over the years. Dr. Migneco is, bar none, the kindest, most understanding, most sympathetic, most compassionate doctor I have ever encountered. She handled the bottomless well of tears shed by my husband and me as Riley laid down to sleep for the last time with the utmost courtesy and respect and kindness. I still have 3 cats and would not even consider taking them anywhere else for their care. My sincerest heartfelt thanks to her and the whole staff there - especially Debbie - for helping us through the absolute worst, most grief-stricken day of our lives.

I went there with my cat who was not feeling so hot. I set an appointment, got there and was helped right away. The ladies in the front were sweet and took interest in my cat, Lilly. The vet loved Lilly and knew she didnt feel well just by looking at her. She gave us two options-antibiotics or tests and the antibiotics would be cheaper so she suggested that. They pumped Lilly up with fluids and antibiotics to help her fever and vomiting. By the next morning Lilly was up and walking around and looking much better. She is now back to normal and the vet even called to follow up to see how Lilly is doing, love that! Will definitely be coming back.

My dog has a rash that covered his belly and the pits of his legs. He was loosing his hair! I took him to two other vets that charged me high prices for all kinds of pills with no explanations. Ive always had dogs and insisted that he had an allergy to the grass/pollen. Dr Rokoy was great. He listened to me, explained everything and gave him an allergy shot. Wouldnt you know that his rash cleared up and the hair is now growing back. NO more itching at all! Ill never go anywhere else. Its a no frills place but they make up with it in customer service. The techs are great.

Hands down the best veterinary clinic anywhere around! I took my baby there and was very scared I was gonnna lose her. The entire staff was extremely caring and helpful and my baby walked out of the hospital 3 days later. I expected a huge bill when I checked out but was amazed at only having to pay $150! Thats for 3 days of intensive hospitalization! I was so happy I could have hugged everyone in the room. Thank you so much Foxwood! You have made a lifelong customer! Extremely pleased all around!

Ive been bringing my pets to Foxwood for 5 years how. They receive such wonderful care. The vets and the staff are so kind and obviously animal lovers. We see Dr. Harman and she is so great with the animals and they feel at ease with her. Ive always been able to get in quickly if my pet is sick. I recently had to put my elderly pet to sleep and not a week later I received a card in the mail signed by all the staff. Im really glad to have this clinic so near to my house.
