Probably, Dr. Majka is a good doctor but the office management is arranged badly. I was treated horrible at the office. As I have figured out, the doctor’s notes are being generated by some software in a form of a template. My notes on the part of “Discussion and Plan”, Review of Symptoms” are nothing in common with reality, with what was discussed and what I told the doctor about my symptoms. Because of these wrong notes I had hard time to understand why my insurance was refusing to approve MRI ordered by Dr. Majka. It happened that the main symptoms were not on the notes. After having MRI done I visited the office to discuss the result of MRI with the doctor. The MRI report was not in the office. Also, I was referred to see a Neuro-ophthalmologist. It takes very long time to have a referral. My impression, the office work (according to their policy) is arranged such way that it doesn’t work in the interest of the customers. The only thing they do well is smile. On the other hand, you will never get explanation or excuses on the mistakes they have done. It is obvious for me now, that their system (computer system) cannot permit to correct the doctor’s notes. So, now trying to make an appointment with a Neuro-ophthalmologist with having the referral, I cannot make it because the initial note does not contain the symptoms I showed with in the office first time. The way they talk to you in the office is very “professional”: no emotions, smiling but at the same time no interest in your problems which they have created for you. Even I like the doctor, I’ll now seeing another ophthalmologist.

Today 6/21/16 at my six-month check-up visit since a phenomenal cataract surgery, you greeted me warmly and compassionately. You are dedicated to superior doctor-patient relations. Your are heart-centered, and your wisdom and expertise are unparalleled. My corrected vision improvement is now 20/20, a miracle as my original vision was near legally blind. I am so very thankful. Since the surgery, I feel more confident in my life, physically stronger, mentally more alert, emotionally more balanced, and spiritually full of gratitude to God. He helped me understand the medical details about my vision, and he seems to love working with Dr. Majka. Everyone seems to love working at Texas Eye Care. The staff are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and very professional. I have always had a positive experience there. Dr. Christopher Majka is the key to this successful team of dedicated professionals in eye care.

I recently had cataracts removed on both eyes. Also I recently renewed my TX Drivers License and I am no longer restricted to glasses!! From the moment that you walk into the office, the very knowledgeable employees treat you with friendliness and respect. Other than the friendly front desk people, my first contact inside was Vanessa..what a delight!! I really enjoyed her! I dont remember the names of some of the others but they were all very good at their jobs..I had to call in a couple of times between surgeries and my calls were always promptly returned and my concerns taken seriously . And then theres Dr Majka..he welcomes you with a handshake..hes a very caring Dr and yes, soft-spoken and I liked that..especially knowing that he was going to be operating on my eyes! I highly recommend Texas Eye Care..I am glad that I chose Dr Majka after my Optometrist recommended him..Thanks to all the staff for taking good care of me!!

The best ophthalmologist you will EVER have! Dr.Majka is such an amazing doctor! Dr.Majka did PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) which is a type of refractive surgery to correct vision. Its been almost a year and I have NEVER had any problems with my vision since then. The PRK surgery was quick and painless.. I was nervous for nothing! Dr.Majka and his staff made me feel at ease When Dr.Majka was performing the surgery he talked me through the whole thing explaining what he was doing. It feels great waking up not having to put on contacts or glasses. I would highly recommend Dr.Majka to my friends and family! Did I mention he is Chief of Ophthalmology for Christus Spohn Hospital System?! Dr.Majka is Fellowship Trained in Cataract & Laser Surgery, Laser Vision Correction, Cornea, Glaucoma and Diabetes. Last Saturday I went to the emergency room at a local hospital with a rash that was burning and itching. The doctor told me that it could be “Shingles” but he didn’t know for sure because the rash had not developed into blisters. This was on my face and near my eye. I called Dr. Majka’s answering service at 8:00am on Sunday morning. Dr. Majka contacted me and I am pleased to say that he offered to meet me at his office at 11:00. I have always been pleased with the care he has given me, but to see me on Sunday went above and beyond what one would expect. Know that I will always grateful. I would recommend Dr. Majka to all of my friends.

Dr. Majka previously performed cataract surgery on both eyes. This was done with zero (0) discomfort and a wonderful result. My vision now returned to nearly the quality it was when I was a young man. Today Dr. Majka removed a pterygium from my right eye that has been slowly advancing since the early 1970s and once again accomplished this with no discomfort to me. Dr. Majka is who I always recommend to my family and friends. Let me add that Dr. Majkas office staff is the very best, professional, courteous, friendly, patient centered; Always!

If you are looking for an ophthalmologist in corpus Christi look no further. Dr. Majka and Dr Cansler are the best corpus Christi has to offer. The staff is very helpful and very attentive to your needs. Everyone is always smiling and very friendly. I highly recommend Texas Eye Care not only to you but to your family as well. I my self, and my mother in law, and sister in law, and two children see Dr. Majka and Dr Cansler for all our eye care needs. I will not go anywhere else.

Dr. Majka is an excellent Dr. He is very good at what he does. I beleive he saved my eyesight after getting a serious infection from work on my eye that a different doctor did. I highly recomend him. He is caring and genlte. His staff is very efficient at what they do as well. Such a good team. If you need anything done with your eyes he is the doctor to see. Greatest Doctor EVER! Wouldnt see anyone else! Highly recommend using this Dr for your eyes. We drive 4 hours one way to continue to see him because he is good! Knowledgeable, professional, courteous, compassionate, actually LISTENS to you (a rarity among Drs these days) and patiently answers any/all questions. Each visit is exactly what you would hope for, in visiting an Ophthalmologist. You wont regret changing to this one if you dont already use him.
