I have been taking my animals to Dr. McCann for almost a decade and couldnt possibly imagine having to ever go anywhere else. It is a blessing to have a vet that you can trust with 110% of your being! Being in rescue, having a knowledgeable and efficient vet clinic that I can rely on is absolutely crucial! Many precious little lives have been saved in this location and countless routine visits have been made. Often times I find an injured or sick animal and without an appointment they are always welcomed by the most outstanding veterinary staff you could hope to meet! Her office manager, Brent, takes every piece of feedback to heart; he is a man of integrity and sincerely cares about the success of the clinic. The techs there I gladly call my friends: Tiffany, April, Penny, Gabrielle, Brandon - they are all genuinely good people who you know love your animals as much as you do. Aside from being an excellent vet, Dr. McCann is as good a person you as you can meet. She is genuine, honest, compassionate and humble. She frequently gives what little bit of free time she has to the local rescues in the surrounding areas. If theres a need, be it person or pet that she can meet, she does so. All of my babies ~Divot, Scallop, Oliver, Bosley, Coal, Dawn, Oreo, Jonah, Pharrell, Harry, Skylah and Bauer ~ give this clinic 2 paws up!

Dr. McCann has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20+ years. Her great deal of experience & knowledge has provided me with an outstanding level of vet care for my 3 dogs for over 4 years. When I step into those doors with any concerns for my pets, I know Dr. McCann will inform me what is best for my pets health. This is a Doctor who comes into an exam room and is more than delighted to see your pet. Ive brought in my pets for a various amount of reasons, from updating vaccines & even as an emergency, and in each time I was taken cared of swiftly & properly. The treatments and testing that is available here is amazing. I have a boxer who needed a form of pain relief, & I didnt want to go down a road of being on constant pain meds. I didnt have to go no further than this clinic, for they provided Laser Treatment for pain relief . Laser treatment is not for every dog, but it was for mine! The staff is amazing & you can tell they all love animals. Overall, Dr.McCann is an exceptional Veterinarian! If my dogs, Rocky, Adrienne & Jasper could speak, theyll say they love Summerwood Vet Clinic. If you seek premium vet care at great price, go to Summerwood Veterinary Clinic!

My husband and I just moved to the Summerwood area and were looking for a veterinarian for 7 yr old lab and 3 month old lab puppy. We have gone to Summerwood Veterinary Clinic twice and have had great experiences both times. The staff is friendly and Dr. McCann is wonderful. She is great with the animals AND owners. We love that is so close to our house and it has been very easy to set up appointment times. Saturdays seem very busy though, so if your animal get jumpy with other animals best to schedule during the week (they have great hours). We would highly recommend this veterinary!

I took my dog there when he was very sick. As a matter of fact I was told he was probably hours away from death. Dr. McCann and her staff are wonderful. I cannot say enough about them. I was very concerned about my pet during his 3 day stay and she personally called me every day to let me know the status of his treatment. I dont think people realize the significance of feeling as though you are important not just a dollar sign. Dr. McCann has definetly earned my business and I will happily refer her to anyone who wants the BEST care for their pet

Ive taken both my dogs here several times in the past year. Dr.McCann is always so good with them. When one of my pups hurt her back she explained what my options were and helped me get her to a specialist. They have called me several times since then to see how my dog has been doing since then. The staff has always been great with my dogs. The prices are reasonable. Ive never felt like they were trying to rip me off (I have not felt the same about some other vets) Im really glad I found this vet

I have 9 animals that I entrust to Dr. McCann. She is thorough, thoughtful and careful about her opinions. She is always open to hearing any and all questions and concerns. She has never hesitated to refer me if she thought specialty care would be helpful. I trust her and respect her. I have also had fantastic help from Terri the office manager, Jackie, April, Eric and Brent, who are technicians; they always anticipate my needs and are so patient. We are grateful for all they do.

Weve been taking our German Shorthair to Dr. McCann since he was a puppy. Dr. McCann is a very caring vet, consultative and spends the time to fully inform you of your pets condition. Even though Summerwood is a good distance away from our home, its where we choose to take our dog. Dr. McCann and her staff have been so nice to him that theyve conditioned him to feel like going to the vet is a good thing! I cant say enough good things about Summerwood Veterinary Cinic.

They are very compassionate to animals. Their prices are very very affordable for this single.mother of 2. They arent all about the money, and truly gave our animals the best care. I am relieved to have a vet who truly cares for the animals well being. They went above and beyond for our animals especially knowing we didnt have all the money in the world. They worked with us and the staff there are very professional and accomidating.

Avoid this place, they will find a way to overcharge you for something. I found a stray and brought her in since I was going to keep her. I mentioned microchipping her and they said no problem and went ahead and did it. They obviously failed to mention they were going to charge me $70 to do so! $70 are you freaking kidding me?! Just about everywhere else will do it for free or $20-$30. Ill take my pets elsewhere from now on.

Dr. McCann and her staff are compassionate, caring, and helpful. Ive had many pets and many vets, and she is one of the best ever. There is never pressure to perform unnecessary or expensive tests, all costs and potential expenses are given up front whenever possible, and the treatments are conservative while still offering new techniques and procedures when necessary. I wouldnt trust my dogs and cats to anyone else!

As always, the staff of Summerwood Veterinary Clinic was so friendly and helpful when I brought my dog in. He had an ear infection which was quickly diagnosed, but Dr. Banga gave him a thorough examination and recommended some follow-up based on previous treatment my dog had been given. I feel like they truly care about the animals and only recommend those procedures that are needed. Prices are reasonable, too.

Dr. McCann and staff are very helpful and understanding, doing their best to resolve any issues. They have handled our dogs needs for 6 years with no complaints. The office is clean, the staff are welcoming and personable and willing to do their best to accommodate needs and preferences. Our dog has a major fear of water and they have worked with her to be able to bathe her.
