Last Thurs. I took my goat in, and Dr. Lucas saw her. This recounts what I asked of him, but he didnt do, and instead offered to put her down, but I took her home, did the remedy and she is alive today. Pls. take to heart for future goat patients. I told him I thought it was bloat, since she had all those signs, and asked him to help with certain things (relieve pressure: by tubing, or cutting her rumen, giving a CD and T shot...) He tubed, found liquid (from her stomach and not the expected gas), heard her sloshing sound in her stomach, did an ultra sound and said she probably had ruptured her bladder perhaps due to a kidney stone ... He said he could do nothing, but that I could take her to A&M for surgery. He hinted that I should otherwise have her put down right then. Since she was in pain and had little chance of survival. I told him I would let my husband see her. My husband, in our last ditch effort to save her, stabbed her in the rumen with a 60 ml syringe, releasing alot of gas. She was instantly better, and that began her recovery, since later that night she bloated again and needed another cut. We also gave and enema (with garden hose) and probiotics, antibiotics, antiinflammatory, electorlites, topical antiseptic... She is my prized doe, and I am so glad to have her still. I hope others with goats who come to Dr. Lucas will be able to keep theirs, too.

Dr Chachere, as long as you perform the surgical procedure of declawing cats I believe that you should lose your veterinarian license and should no longer be able to touch any animal. I am a foster parent to an unfortunate patient of yours. This cat is now maimed for the rest of it life. I read your consent form, your consent form has neglected to state the problems that could happen after the cat it declawed. I think it should be your obligation as a veterinarian to educate ignorant pet owners of the dangers and side effects of declawing there cat. I also believe that its your duty as a veterinarian to look after the welfare of any animal, especially ones under your care.

I have been bringing my fur babies to Dr. Chacheres clinic for 15 years or more. Dogs, goats, horses, it doesnt matter. He and his staff care about each and everyone. They are all always welcoming and concerned if your pet is in need of medical attention. They email, text and call to follow up, remind you of appointments, etc. Today I took one of my Doberman females in for spaying. A few hours later I received a pic of her and the cutest message from her saying the surgery went great and she looks forward to seeing me tomorrow. I love this great group of people and want to spread the word! God bless them for all they do for our fur babies!!!!

Dr. Chachere has been our vet for 14 years of my Great Pyrenees, Australian Shepherd, Siberian husky, my Turkeys, my chickens, my rabbits, my Saint Bernard, my Sheltie, and my Siberian Huskey puppy! He has become a friend of my family but not only him but his entire staff!!! My sister goes to him as well! He was introduced by my friend Cindy who I adopted my Saint Bernard from and she has all kinds of horses, llamas, goats, chickens, pig and Im probably leaving something out! My point, there is nothing he cant handle!!!

Dr. Lukas took wonderful care of my ailing 13 year old Yorkie that I thought I was for sure going to have to put down. He did a quality of life exam, and gave us medications to treat her -- thankfully, she wasnt as bad off as I thought she was. He has wonderful bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. Clean facilities, welcoming staff. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new vet, a second opinion, or anything. You wont regret it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!! My dog is dead because I chose to bring him to this god forsaken clinic, and nothing will bring him back. Do you want a veterinarian who hasnt completed the proper training to administer a dangerous and controversial drug, to touch your beloved pets?? My family s lives are forever changed after leaving this clinic. DO EXTENSIVE RESEARCH BEFORE YOU TRUST THE WORD OF YOUR ANIMALS VET!!!

I have been using Chachere Veterinary Clinic now for over one year for my pet Yorkie and have found the staff to be caring and professional. I have never had any problems getting appointments for her in a timely fashion and once there, we never have to wait long to be seen. If you haven’t given this place a chance yet, I highly recommend that you do. I was VERY impressed at the knowledge of this young veterinarian Dr. Lucas Chachere and he’s so sweet too! His staff is amazing and they make sure that you understand fully and completely before you leave their offices. I will not go anywhere else. They give me such a peace of mind.

I took my nine year old miniature schnauzer in for teeth cleaning and some extractions. His mouth was a mess and they did a great job fixing his teeth. He is doing great and I can tell he feels much better now and his breath is SOOOO much better. It went from smelling horrid to having no smell at all. His remaining teeth are nice and clean and hes a happy guy.

It is truly a pleasant experience each time I take my pets in for there check ups. The waiting time is short and once you get to the examining room you never feel rushed. I have one dog that is in panic mode each time she goes but Dr. Chachere is very patient with her. I highly recommend this clinic for your pets.
