We will no longer visit this clinic (the North Fargo Airport location. Ive heard good things about the Moorhead location, but have not been there). There are a couple of veterinarians at this clinic, but somehow we almost always end up with Dr. Green during the actual visitation. She has absolutely the worst bedside manner of any physician I have ever met. She is rude, not thorough, and I generally get the impression from her that she just doesnt care about anything other than how many hours are left on the clock for the day. I have never felt as if she actually cared about the well being of my 4 different pets that I have brought there, and I usually leave the clinic angered by her attitude towards us. I do not bring my pet somewhere to be berated about this and that. I understand that my dog may need teeth cleanings now and then. I dont need to be lectured about it. Anyone who owns a dog can guess how cooperative a dog will be when you come at them with a toothbrush. Offer me assistance, not judgement. When I ask questions about medications, I expect them to be answered, rather than complained about. I do not want to hear why you think a breed of dog is terrible. Take that up with God. If I have made a mistake or am not doing enough with a situation regarding the care of my pet, I expect to be instructed on how to handle the situation properly, not scolded as if Im some kind of idiot that shouldnt even be allowed to own an ant farm. And for Gods sake, she needs to be friendly and smile both at people and the pets. She always looks nothing but unhappy and inconvenienced from the moment she walks in the room. I cant believe anyone is able to walk into a room and see a Pug sitting there, and still seem unhappy about it, but she pulls it off with flying colors. At least the customers in the waiting room will show us a smile when we come out. I have had one other female veterinarian at this clinic examine our dog, and I wish I knew her name because she was absolutely fantastic. She was kind, courteous, helpful at answering questions, and she made us feel like she wanted to take my dog to the dog park down the street, just to play with her for a few minutes. I have never had Dr. Harvey (the owner) work with us, but Ive always heard nothing but good things about him. I guess I probably should have asked by name when setting appointments but never thought of it. At this point, the damage is done, anyway. We now go to the Animal Health Clinic on South University. They are more expensive, but at least I leave in a good mood, educated, and have the feeling that my pet was cared for both physically and emotionally. I dont want to leave these comments just to rip on Dr. Green, but looking at the comments below, its apparent that we arent the first ones to have issues with her, while Dr. Harvey himself appears to be a fantastic vet, and an all around great guy to work with. I know that this should be a review of the clinic as a whole, not one bad apple, but unfortunately because of Greens attitude, we choose to no longer visit this clinic. Her behavior is inappropriate and unprofessional, and it generally is why I am only giving this place a 1 star review. My suggestion to anyone reading this review is that if you are considering taking your pet here for anything short of an emergency, make an appointment with someone other than Dr. Green. Chances are you will probably get pretty good treatment from the comments Ive read about Dr. Harvey, and my own personal experience with the other female veterinarian we worked with.

Dr. Harvey is wonderful! My parents took our dogs and cat there when I was growing up and now I take my kitten to see him. We have had Dr. Green a couple times, only because Dr. Harvey wasnt available. She is awful-rude, crabby, condescending, and doesnt seem to care at all about our pets. I always make sure to request Dr. Harvey. Dr. Harvey is kind and affectionate towards our pets. We recently had to put our family cat down and they came to the house to make her more comfortable. She was terrified of car rides and we didnt want her to be afraid in her final moments of life. This meant more to us and to her than they will ever know. Kitty didnt like many people outside of our family, except Dr. Harvey. When I took my new kitten for her first appointment a few weeks later, he spent close to an hour with us explaining everything we need to know to best care for her. I have heard great things about the other female vet as well but have never met her. I am giving Airport Animal Hospital 5 stars solely because of Dr. Harvey. If I reviewed Dr. Green alone, I would give it 0 stars.

Over the course of a couple visits and an overnight stay my pet (male cat) was seen by 2 or 3 veterinarians / nurses / caretakers at the Airport Animal Hospital. Each and every time I walked in they recognized me and knew my pet by name - and every person on the staff was familiar with my pet and his ailment- which was so comforting. At his first and subsequent visits they took the time to explain everything that was going on with him and their recommended course of treatment, as well as gave me options and thoroughly discussed costs and expenses associated with his care. I did not have pet insurance, so they determined a course of treatment that was affordable. I could not have found more caring, courteous and knowledgeable people. I wont take my pet anywhere else! We love Airport Animal Hospital. :)

I have been bringing my pets to this location for as long as I can remember and before me, my parents always brought our childhood pets here. I would never go anywhere else and Dr. Green is my favorite. She has been the best Vet to all of our animals. She is compassionate, caring and nonjudgmental. She tells it like it is and if your dog needs his/her teeth cleaned, then do it for the health of your dog and dont get so offended. She has been at the Airport location for many, many years and as such, knows us when we walk in the door. Recently, we saw Dr. Zanol when our puggle started limping, and she was amazing too! Great office with amazing staff!

For years my family has brought our furry family members to see Dr. Harvey, what an outstanding Dr. Today, there was an issue with my little Bella girl (dog) and I called and they were able to get her seen. This time Dr. Tofteland was at the ready. This is an amazing Dr., if you ever want to make sure your pets get the attention you want for them, the treatment they deserve, Dr. Tofteland is your answer, she is absolutely perfect!!!. Thank you for helping Bella. Both Dr. Harvey and Dr. Tofteland are great and there is no other place I would go and I would recommend Airport Animal Hospital every time. They care for you and your pet. Thank you!

Dr. Jennifer Tofteland and staff are truly the best vet care I have ever received. Their staff was amazing at comforting my 17.5 year old dog-child (and me) in her final days. I had to schedule many last minute appointments and they were very accommodating. Another veterinarian told me I needed to do surgery and seemed judgmental of my decisions made towards my animal. Dr. Tofteland always presented all of the options, and was genuinely concerned for my pet, and really cared about my comfort level during a very difficult time. There prices are very reasonable as well.
