Would give 0 stars if I could. Do not go here. Please. My 5 month old husky had been throwing up blood, and howling as if something was stuck. We came here at 1 am, desperate for help. After waiting in the front for a good 30 minutes we finally got someone to take us to a room. 90$ JUST to get your dogs temp and weight taken. Waited for the vet to come in for another hour. She finally came in and felt around our dogs stomach. Said she needed to take x rays to see if there was anything in there ($295) after she looked at the x rays she came back in and basically told us that her stomach was irritated (I couldve told you that she was throwing up blood?) but she didnt know why, that she needed to send it to her radiologist friend ($495). This lady spent about 10 minutes telling me how she HIGHLY recommends we send the x rays to a radiologist because they have more schooling in x rays than she does. Later the next day when we were looking at the paperwork we saw her name, with the word "radiologists" under it as her title, so she lied to get more money out of us. This lady had NO idea what she was talking about I seriously doubt shes a real vet. They basically took $700 from me for no reason, because they still had no idea what was wrong with my dog, but HIGHLY recommended surgery for $3000? Also for me to leave her there for the night for $800? They close at 7am and because of the amount of time they took doing everything I ended up leaving at 5am, with still no idea what was wrong with my dog. So much more is wrong with this place, but it would make my review really long. Please find another option other than this place, the reviews are all correct, they dont care about you or your dog, they want your money, and Im having trouble believing theyre even real vets. The only god part is the girls in the front. From an animal lover to another, find somewhere else to go for this place is your worst nightmare. I took her to a vet in the morning, and he told me she didnt have anything in her stomach she just ate something that cut it up, gave me antibiotics, gave her a shot, and recommended we feed her baby food brown rice chicken and hamburger meat. Shes doing great, has not thrown up, or pooped blood, and is as energetic as ever.

I didnt go in with high expectations because it is an ER Vet and Christmas Eve but the service, or lack thereof, from the Doctor was beyond reprehensible. The front desk and all the staff were amazing and caring. I waited a long time, like 5 hours in total, because there were major emergencies happening but thats not the bad part. My dog had broken her leg but I wasnt sure how bad since shes done it before. The Doctor proceeded to tell me that it was bad and she would need a $2-3000 surgery. Theres no way I could afford that and especially on Christmas eve. I debated what to do and asked for other options. I was obviously upset at the thought of losing my girl. The Dr made a few low cost centers suggestions but said it would be still around $1500+ and said that the limb could be removed cheaper but THEN proceeded to tell me that maybe the dog would be better off with someone that could afford the care. WTF?!?!? I asked that she be put in a splint and given medicine until she could see our Vet. The bill was still over $300 just for the visit, pain med and splint. I was able to see our vet and he confirmed that it was broke but that she could stay in the splint and heal just fine like that. He was also taken back by what I was told at MedVet. Granted, I didnt let her do an X-Ray because they wanted almost $300 for that but all it would tell her is how bad the break was and she was certain that she needed surgery. Its the complete lack of professionalism and compassion that is my issue with this place. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know with animals to never trust your babies with this clinic.

Do not let this happen to you! Be forewarned. I just wrote this to my friend... Not sure how to say this but I am glad I did not give you that dog. She got real sick on Sun night. I rushed her up to the ER vet at 3AM on Mon. They wanted to charge me $550-850 dollars to save her. (I know that everyone carries that in their pocket the way the economy is these days) They were gracious enough to put an IV in her and gave her antibiotics to try and make it into the morning. That way I could try and get her to my regular vet. Although, the clinic offered to Euthanize her for a reduced rate since I had just paid for an overpriced test. They said I was cruel since I would not pay the exorbitant price they were charging for four hours worth of care. Ends up my normal vet would have only charged me in the $60 range per day. Needless to say she died at 7AM an hour before the vet opened. Do not get charged extraordinary prices to save your pet, I would advise you to take your pet somewhere else. This staff was some of the most non compasionate people I have ever dealt with! With the exception of the lady that checked me out. I will say this though. The doctor was knowledgable, the place was clean and they had new state of the art equipment. You are going to pay dearly for it though! They say that never go to a Doctors office that has dead plants in their lobby. This place has none. Now I understand why!

I took my 4yr old german shepherd here on Saturday evening because he was moaning some and I thought maybe he had a touch of heatstroke or he swallowed too much water from playing in his kiddy pool earlier that day. Hillary Hellstern examined my dog, felt a bump on his abdominal and took x-rays, suspicious of a tumor. She told me my dog had a tumor that was growing inside his intestines and that his spleen was all twisted around this tumor and he needed immediate surgery with a 2% chance of survival. She also told me my dog will be dead within 24hrs. She kept telling me it would be inhumane of me not to put him down right then. She almost talked me into it, as she kept pressuring me to kill my dog, that the alternative was he would endure a very painful death. I was in shock and couldnt believe this because my dog didnt look or act sick. I wanted to take my dog to my Vet on Monday for a second opinion, and told her I was taking him home and to provide me with pain meds to last thru the rest of the weekend. Hillary Hellstern put me under duress stress as I was thinking my dog was going to die any hour. After I took him home my dog continued to improve. On Monday morning I took him to a "Veteran" Vet, and he examined my dog along with the x-rays and concluded that my dog has gas.
