I took my dog into this vet because I found a worm in his stool. I went in to see the vet tech with my dog and was informed that my dog needed all of his shots. Fine, I love my dog and if he needs his shots, Im happy to get them for him. I wasnt sure if he needed the rabies vaccine, but the tech assured me rather brusquely that, "our records show that he needs his shots." So, I got his shots. I got home and found out that he didnt need any shots at all. I called to tell them of their mistake. They blamed me for not bringing his records into them. Keep in mind, I brought him in for completely unrelated problem. Even though I told the vet tech where we used to go, they were either too busy to call them or simply just didnt care to call them. I think as professionals they need to do their homework and make sure theyre not giving unnecessary shots to animals that come in there. I wouldnt expect a Doctor to give me a vaccine unless he was sure I needed it. Long story short - they told me, "youre welcome to go somewhere else." Thats an incredibly rude thing to say to someone when youve just given their valued pet $200 worth of medication that he did not need. Beware of this place. Go anywhere but here because theyre rude, careless and unable to admit when they make a mistake. You could end up with a big, unnecessary bill and maybe even a sick pet.

I dont know if all the other VCA hospitals are like this, but this one is TERRIBLE. I agree with other people: Theyre expensive, they only care about money, and the people are not competent AT ALL. I brought my dying dog by, and rather than getting off the phone or telling them to wait for a moment when I told her it was an emergency (keep in mind I was BALLING), the secretary stayed on the phone for a good 5 minutes before she could get me to an available vet. She told me that I had to fill out paperwork. I filled it out, and when I asked to see my dog, they told me that she had already passed away. Rather than telling me immediately when she passed away, they waited for me to finish the paperwork so they can charge me an absurd amount for doing absolutely NOTHING to help my dog. Sure, this vet is close to my house, but I would rather drive a little ways away to go to a better one. I even talked to customers in Petco (which is next door to this hospital) and they even commented on how bad everything was there. So, Im glad to hear that I am not the only one who received terrible EVERYTHING.

Dr. Sharp and Dr. Manley are the best. My 10 month old dachshund Addy can be a handful but they love her there. She used to be nervous when going to the vet but now she gets excited for the trip. Although shes still a puppy she has an uncommon medical condition called hepatic encephalopathy that both doctors have gone out of their way to diagnose and treat. They both have contacted specialist for consults and provided the best for my baby. Ive never been so comfortable going to the vet because I know I have two doctors that strive to provide my pet with utmost care. I cant say enough good things about this practice. The staff are also warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. If they are unable to answer one of my crazy questions then they ask the doctor; If they arent available immediately the doctor calls me back the same day. As far as cost goes Ive never known quality pet care to be cheap but they give me numerous options to help fit my budget. They dont make me feel guilty either if I cant do everything that same day, but they ensure my pet (and myself) are taken care of.

Horrible!! They did not give full price on anything then surprise you with a huge amount to paid when a procedure is already done. I will change to another vet. I took my two dogs for a dental cleaning, when I asked for the price at the moment of the appointment they told me was $285 for each. Seem fairly, so my husband took them the next day, he was in a hurry and sign a paper with the items for the procedure (no price in any of them). When I got there they gave an invoice for almost $1,000. Because we could take out a few items in there like polish (the whole point of the cleaning) or anesthesia (imaging cleaning without it). Its up to you, just ask them to be clear.

Unsympathetic, fat, corpulent front of desk staff that have no regard for family. The technician was helpful in questions but the front of desk help were rude, forceful and intent on directing us to another facility because she could not answer our questions and could not be bothered by us in our concern for our family pet. She directed us to the front door in the aggressive manner unprovoked.

I took my dog to this hospital after she got in a fight with another dog, she has a cut under her eye and puncture to the neck. They close at 3 I got there at 2:20 and they advised me that no one could see her because of the time. Well just so you understand isnt there ethics in being a vet like a doctor. I cannot believe that I was turned away. I wont ever take my dog there.

I love the VCA Hospital. Everyone there from front desk staff, pet handlers, and the doctors are capable and friendly. Most of all, Dr. Manley is super nice. They know how to calm down my cats while working on them. Dr. Manley makes my kids feel warm and welcome while theyre there, too. Animals are important at VCA Hospital.

Very pleased with my service. It was a very emotional day for my pup Murdock and I. We were able to make it thru thanks to the sweet people who work here. They really care and express that. The vet was very concrete and concise with his thoughts of treatment. Overall, very thankful for my experience here. I will be back.

We made a most difficult decision to have our almost 21yr old cat put down. The staff was so compassionate and sensitive to our grief. They talked us through the process and we are so grateful for their care and time.

The staff at this location has always been very attentive and caring with our dog. The only thing that keeps them from getting 5 stars is the price of prescriptions, and the time consumed waiting on assistance.

Easy to get in and open Saturdays. We got a new dog and used their "Dog Wellness Plan" which pays for all preventative measures for your dog plus 5 vet visits a year. Love that idea!
