I will never bring my animals back to this vet. He was rude to both my husband and myself. We brought our cat in who was bleeding from the rectum three days ago. The vet was 99.9% sure it was just a bad UTI and sent us home with antibiotics. Today, Tuesday my wonderful pet is no longer alive. It was not a UTI and he never recovered. Not only was the diagnosis completely wrong and had dire consequences, the Dr would not listen to my husband when he described the symptoms as sudden and not an ongoing condition. He told us, we just were not paying attention and he was sure that the cat had been suffering for a long time. He then insulted my husband to me when I called to get more information and some questions answered. He said, " I told your husband all of this, I do not have time to repeat myself." I explained I was at work and my husband could not answer the questions I had before we make any decisions, he THEN said, " Oh.. he is just the errand boy I see." The front desk is rude and disrespectful. I will never ever return.

I am so saddened by my experience with this Vet. I had originally gone to see Hector Carbonell at the location off Los Rios and it was wonderful. Now that the place has moved, it all has been bad. The Doctor who originally saw my dog for having seizures, simply was really nice, but wasnt listening to anything I had to say. Then when I took him to get boarded, I was not told over the phone about certain fees I was being charged. I asked to speak with a doctor because of sensitive issues of my pet and concerns I had medically about leaving him - no one would come talk to me - then I was called on the way home that everything needed to be updated, which all cost more money. If I didnt have plans to go out of town, I would have turned my car around and gone straight to pick up my dog. I left there that day, feeling all they wanted was more money from me and had no desire, as if I was an inconvenience for asking to speak to a doctor....We wont be back! Money factory

IF YOU WANT TO SPEND 200 ON YOUR FIRST VISIT THEN THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE! I brought my 6 week old poddle puppy here because she was sick right away she got unnecessary test that she didnt need! And the vet idk her name but shes black(not trying to be racist here) doesnt explain anything at all! Just uses some big words!! They gave my puppy a shot that she didnt even need till she was about 12 weeks old! Well guess what.... her eye the very next day was swollen and gray! The following day they wanted me to pay 50 bucks to give her another check up up on top of the eye exam... they dont give u accurate information! Why spend so much money and not help ur dog? they gave me two medications that my puppy didnt need whatsoever... please look elsewhere they charge way to much! And if u do decide to come here ask for ur receipts every time you pay! NEVER EVER COMING HERE AGAIN THIS PLACE JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY....your seriously off better elsewhere

I prefer the personal and caring service we received back when Dr. Carbonell was located near 14th Street and Shiloh Rd. Yes, the old clinic was small and nowhere near as fancy as the new location is now, but after 10+ years I will be taking my business elsewhere. I agree with previous reviews that the prices have skyrocketed and management seems to care more about making money than providing affordable care with excellent customer service. I, too, have had similar experiences of "sticker shock" because I was not advised in advance over the phone about specific add-on fees or was unaware of sudden price increases from week to week or month to month. These multiple subpar reviews just confirm my suspicions. Say "goodbye" to another loyal customer.

I took my dog to find out why she was bleeding, not eating her food, and to get her nails cut. The doctor would not listen to my advice to put a muzzle on her, and was surprised when she snapped. After NOT checking her temp, nor taking a blood sample, the doctor sent me home with two useless medications. I wasted $100 and my dog got sicker and weaker. After NOT calling me back after taking a urine sample, I took my dog to Parker Animal & Bird clinic. Turns out my dog just needed to be spayed and she had an infection. Dr. Whetstone took my advice to put a muzzle on her, took her temp, an x-ray, AND a blood sample. Thanks to Parker Animal & Bird clinic, my dog is now her old self again. NEVER, EVER go to East Plano Animal Hospital!

I randomly chose this vet based on their website and the fact that they had 4.4 stars on here. & I got so lucky! I sent an appointment request on their website after hours yesterday and immediately received a reply, which I wasnt expecting at all. They were able to get us in today (the next day), which was wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and caring towards my pup. Its not in the nicest building, but Im sure that helps keep the prices down. & dont choose not to go here because its not as nice looking as the other vets in the area. If you want low prices and excellent service for your animal, this is the place to go. We got in and out pretty fast as well. Well definitely be coming back here for our visits.

Everyone at this clinic is incredibly kind. They provide wonderful service and always take such great care of my kitties. I never feel like they are trying to push a service my cats dont need, and if they do have a service they recommend, they are very clear on why they think it is important. My appointments are NEVER rushed, which is a big deal to me. Most of all, I appreciate how they came through for me during the Christmas season. When the boarding facility I usually used was booked, they took my cats in at the last minute and gave them a whole room to themselves! I was so grateful, and I felt at ease knowing they were watching my cats over the holidays. Easily the best vet Ive ever had!

Seriously some of the kindest people Ive ever met. I, like most people, love my fluffy babies sooo much that I feel Im constantly handing them to strangers when I cant help them. But not here. This staff genuinely cares about each and every animal that they see. My two roommates also take their pets here, and when one of my roommates had to put down her best friend, the whole staff mourned with us. These are people who are amazing at taking care of animals, and I know when I bring my babies here, they will treat them like their own. I recommend them to everyone who has a pet they love, and if you come here I know you will too.

Very poor management. I took my pet to be groomed there for several times. Each time he came back looking horrible, but I never complained. The last time I took him they called me because they could not finish him. I did not complain a bit. They asked me to bring my pet next day to continue the grooming. Then I I went to pick him up they told me that he was too hard to do the grooming and they were going to close my account so he would not come back there. I did not complain, but 3 days later they closed my entire account and do not even want the pet to be seeing by the vet!! That is a horrible place!!!
