City Vet Oak Lawn is a veterinary clinic located at 2727 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas, TX 75219, USA. The clinic operates from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays. The clinic has a rating of 3.5 and offers a range of services for pets.
Based on my expertise in the field, it's crucial for veterinary clinics to maintain a balance between professional medical care and excellent customer service to retain clients. City Vet Oak Lawn seems to excel in veterinary expertise but has room for improvement in customer service, particularly at the front desk.

I wasnt going to leave a review but the only one for this is awful. Ive been taking my dog here for about four years now (shes five). Theyve always been amazing, especially the staff who greet you. They always love on my dog and tell me how great she is, so that helps. :) The worst is just if you call when theyre busy and you have to be on hold for a bit but thats nothing they can control. I wouldnt usually request a specific vet as each one always seemed pretty great. But Ive recently started requesting Ava Gessel since my dog recently developed some skin issues. The first time I brought her in, the vet (who I cant remember) told me the bumps on her neck were too small to be aspirated to see if they were cancer (and wasnt pleasant so I hope shes not there anymore) so Id have to pay almost $800 to have them removed. I wasnt prepared for that so I waited a bit. The next time I went in, I got Dr. Gessel and she had no problem aspirating them (and they had shrunk from the last time I had asked about them). She was very calm and soothing about everything and very understanding and helpful. Those bumps turned out to be nothing, though she did have tumors which had recently developed which needed to be removed in other locations. She and her vet tech, Kylie (I think), are pretty great. As are the people working the front desk.

Ive been taking my cats here since 2005. Reception staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Both the Vet Techs and the Veterinary staff are excellent at listening, problem solving, dealing with cranky kitties, and calming slightly hysterical pet parents.

Very unprofessional office staff. Doctor is great but the front office personnel is a rude awaking! They have lost my business going forward. Better choices with nicer staff in town.
