Ive been into this office three separate times for the same illness. My first visit Dr. Bunney spent 5 min with me prescribed me an antibiotic and sent me on my way. My second visit i was put into a room within 20 min, then wasnt seen by a Dr. for 2 hours!! again was given 5 minutes of the Drs time antibiotic, Claritan D, and throat spray. Third visit very similar to first 2. Make a phone call to see what i should do after not getting any better very upset at this point. There response you have to come in, were going to charge you for another visit even though Im still not healthy after 3 tries. Now they can see I’m upset and want to refer me to a specialist. I should have been referred to a specialist after the first or second visit My impression is that the Dr. doesn’t care about his patiants in the slightest. Just wanted to charge me for office visits until I decided I should see a specialist. The office manager didn’t seem to care much either. DO NOT GO HERE THERE IS A REASON HE HAS UNDER A 4 STAR RATING.

I have been a patient of Troy Medical for over two decades. I have always encountered positive experiences from the accommodating, ever-patient staff to the loving concern of Dr. Bunney. Any time I have contacted Dr. Bunney beyond working hours he has answered the call within one minute. As busy as he is, he takes whatever time needed to provide both reassurance and an accurate diagnosis. He has also made referrals to other physicians when he feels a second opinion may aid in the diagnosis. Dr. Bunneys office consists of a phlebotomist, EKG, and x-ray equipment making it even more convenient for patients to not have to travel to an outside facility for this additional followup. On a personal level, I have never had a physician who not only aids in my physical recovery but in my emotional and spiritual concerns. There will never be another Troy Medical. There will never be another Dr. Bunney. Anyone who is a patient is truly blessed. Sincerely, Ruth Ann Grimaldi and Marvin Petuch

I have been a patient of Dr. Bunney since the day he started in 1983. Dr. Bunney is very knowledgeable, kind, fast & efficient. Always with great results! He sees you and knows your health history. A real benefit when looking for related health changes. In the 34 years Ive been seeing him he has cured all the usual colds, flues, sinus infections etc.. But Im most grateful for his expertise on discovering I had a heart condition last year, known as A-Fib & A-Flutter. He referred me to a Beaumont cardiologist for a procedure with perfect results. Tim and staff run a smooth medical office. They accept most health insurances and will bill your insurance carrier for you. Ive never even had a billing issue in all these years! The nurses are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Bunney and staff for a great family practitioner.

Staff was friendly, the wait time is unpredictable as it is walk in only. As far as the doctor goes, Im highly disappointed. I went in for a cold/bad cough, etc I had for a couple weeks. He prescribed antibiotics. No improvement so I went back. Another two sets of antibiotics. Cough wasnt as bad but still present and breathing getting difficult. Everything else still the same, including fullness of ear that is making it difficult to hear. So I went back and was prescribed two more antibiotics and an inhaler. Another week later Im the same and my ear has now gotten worse. I just switched jobs and am currently without insurance. So now Im stuck because this guy just kept wanting me to come back so he can make money instead of getting me better. I most certainly will not be returning here once my new health plan starts.

First and foremost this place is not an urgent care despite what they claim on internet and this was confirmed by the receptionist. Secondly despite having an emergency room right at the entrance they do not take any urgent cases. They are a walk in only. I had a chronic back ache and needed urgent care so I called them and confirmed if they take patients with back problem and as an urgent case. All she said was come in before 12noon. On arrival i was asked to fill a form and then wait for 1hr. Since i had chronic pin and couldnt afford to sit, the only option was to walk out and look for another Urgent care on Rochester road. Since i never got to see the doctor, cant comment on that but for the staff, 3 stars is sufficient and for misleading information just one star averaging to 2 stars.

I have been a patient of his for over 16 years. I have had insurance changes and had to switch DRS and switched back the first opportunity. He isnt just a regular family practice. He has found broken bones where a crappy ER misdiagnosed as a sprain. He has found and managed things others doctors overlooked. He is very thorough and extremely intelligent. Not to mention he cares. The only downside is the wait time since it is primarily a walk in clinic. But the upside is that you dont have to wait for an appointment and the other downside is repeated medication visits when others write multi-month scripts. Had a few issues with over billing and should have had credit but it seems they worked it out. If you can handle that, this is the best doctors office.

We have been treating with Dr. Bunney for years (everything from colds and flu to migraines to minor injuries) and he has always been top notch. He gets to the bottom of the problem in a sound, methodical way. Does not order a bunch of unnecessary tests right out of the box. He does what is needed and refers you for more tests or to specialists as necessary. The staff is wonderful. The billing clerks are knowledgeable, polite and helpful and respond immediately to inquiries and problems. The doctor does not keep you waiting for hours. I have never waited more than 15 minutes or so even when they are busy, and I do not know of another walk in clinic that can give that kind of service. The care is just excellent.

I have been to this facility many time, always face some or other issues in communication. He judge people by face. He give refill to me 2 time after Aug2016 and on 21st of Jan2017 he say he didnt give any medication related to said one. and he verified with front desk the he realized he is giving the said medicine and he give 2 refills after Aug2016. I suggest please dont go to him. if by chance your visiting him for the only reason that he has no appointment (anytime walk-in facility) like me. Please be careful what medication he is giving and trying track yourself. else he will mix up his on face feelings. He keep himself on top and make money from people.......

Dr. Bunney is one of the most amazing Doctors I have ever met. He works 6+ days a week at his practice and supports his patients that are admitted in the hospital. He has been our family physician for as long as I can remember. He has never waivered from providing best-practice medical care. He shows sincere empathy and dedication to his patients. He remembers his patients, asks questions relative to you and your life. He is a trustworthy physician and I consider myself fortunate to be one of his patients. I have never had any billing issues and the office is always easy to contact. Nurses are willing to answer questions for you on the phone.
