There are primary care physicians and then there is Dr. Lovy. Not only is he a Doctor but he has a degree in chemistry which makes him very VERY good at picking the right combination of medicines for your particular situation. My diabetes was out of control and he was able to make some changes to my meds, tweak some dosages and now its under control! For other diabetics, my A1C went from a 11.9 to a 6.3 in 6 short months!! Unheard of!! He surrounds himself by other professionals in the office like PA Emily who is extremely helpful, caring to a fault and very knowledgeable. He has an in office podiatrist named Dr. Perna. Dr. Perna doesnt just trim your toenails. ..he is a surgeon and a foot specialist. His knowledge of the workings of your foot, bone structure, muscle and tendon operation are 2nd to none. He is also on staff at Beaumont Southshore, St Marys in Livonia and other area hospitals near you. The front desk staff is simply the best! No matter how busy they are they take time to answer our questions, help us with prescriptions, prior authorizations, ordering and scheduling test, scheduling hospital admissions as well as a good laugh or caring hug when we are feeling down. We have recommend Dr Lovy to a lot of friends and colleagues and will continue to do so. If you want first class health care from beginning to end go see Dr. Lovy. Tell them " Tony sent ya!"

Dr Lovy and his entire staff are the absolute best!!! My husband and I have referred several patients to his office, and will continue to do so. We are long time patients of his, and have without a doubt received the best care possible! Whether we see him in his office, or Beaumont Southshore, he always has a smile on his face, never makes us feel rushed, answers all of our questions, and does it in a way that you know you are important to him. His staff is the best-the entire office is like family to us! They all took care of us-getting my husbands diabetes under control, managing my care for breast cancer, overseeing an awesome team of doctors that got us through my husbands double leg amputations (from a slip & fall accident), and helped me keep some sanity during it all! We are very proud of him & his team, and the time he devotes to his residents-he is without a doubt, a perfect role model for them!! YOU SIMPLY COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER, MORE CARING DOCTOR!!

I am a 20+year patient of Dr.Lovy. I followed him from Taylor to Trenton. He has always had my health and needs as his primary focus. He will run necessary test, refer to specialists all in an attempt to diagnose my health issue. He also has an outstanding P.A., Emily. She is knowledgable and also willing to use all of her resources for my care. His waiting room time is no more than 30 minutes and that is rare. Same day appointments have never been a problem. The staff at South Valley, Dr. Lovys is EXCEPTIONAL. They provide professional, compassionate, and beyond normal assistance in every way. So take all this info into consideration and give Dr. Lovy and his staff a try. I recommend him 100%.

I was a patient of Dr. Lovy for years. He was always good to me, my son, and my husband until recently. I voiced my feelings about his assistant, and received certified mail stating I was no longer a patient of his. I could live with that because I was a bit rude to his assistant after I found my mom dead on her floor I was under a lot of stress, and I was a mess. I apologized to Emily directly. Well I went with my husband to his appointment last week, I was treated like a pile of trash yelled at " you cant come back here out in front of everyone.

Not a very caring Dr. I was a patient and for 2 years I complained of burning pain in my arm. I could barely lift it and i had to beg for an MRI and then found out I had a cyst growing in my shoulder bone. He never once seemed concerned, nor apologetic. I had to find my own neurologist, my own surgeon. Also, alot of times I wasnt even finished explaining my concerns when he would get up and leave. His physician assistant is worthless, twice she wrote the wrong year on my scripts and I had to drive all the way back.

My husband and I are both patients. We followed Dr. Lovy when he moved to this location. We have since referred our parents and siblings. The entire staff is wonderful. Dr. Lovy is so thorough and always explains and follows up on everything. The office staff goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need for referrals, specialists, and our sometimes difficult insurance. They are always so friendly and sympathetic. I recently referred my adult son which is the ultimate vote of confidence.

I have been seeing Dr. Lovy since he was in Taylor on Ecorse Rd. Right after having my daughter I was really struggling with my health. Dr. Lovy was relentless in looking for solutions and quickly determined that my thyroid was not functioning. He completed all the necessary testing so that when I finally got into the endo everything he needed was complete. Hes grown his practice and hes always gone above and beyond for me. His staff is very sweet and attentive.

I love this Drs office. Ive been going here since they opened. Ive had 2 ongoing issues that other drs couldnt control and both have been better. One is completly under control and the other is very close. Dr. Lovy has been the only one out of multiple drs that has truly tried to find out what was going on. The first issue, one dr basically called me a liar! Dr. Lovy didnt and now its under control! I wont go anywhere else. Ive had nothing but great results!

Dr Lovy is the best! My whole family are patients here and we wont go anywhere else! Hes very knowledgeable, caring and genuinely concerned with his patients. He wont stop until he finds the problem! He wont just settle with prescribing medication and scoot you out the door. Best doc, hands down!

I have been a patient of his for over 12 years. The office staff is awesome. Dr. Lovy is knowledgeable, willing to listen and actually speaks english. I love that they dont tolerate patients who are troublemakers or drug seekers because that means they have more time to take care of me.

This whole office staff is so unconcerned and uncaring no matter how much pain your in. Do not go there Ive been in pain for a month and they could careless unfortunately.
