I absolutely would NOT recommend bringing your animal to this establishment. After leaving my PUPPY in the hands and care of this so-called animal hospital for a week, she came home with kennel cough and ear infections. To make matters worse, the medication that the doctor prescribed is known for rotting teeth and eating away at stomach lining in animals. After taking my dog to another veterinarian and learning of the poor treatment in which my loved one received, I contacted squaw peak directly to talk about my concerns. Their response was less than compassionate and they offered no explanation nor written communication about the original pet stay.... let alone an apology or refund on treatment needed from their kennels. They did NOT care about my animal or take any accountability in the situation. Apparently in this state of economy they are doing so well with their services that they are okay with losing our business due to MISTREATMENT of animals. This place is horrendous and have proven to care only about $$, not about the animals that come through their door

We have always had a positive experience here, even in tough times. Dr. Clinton and staff are always very compassionate and caring. We had to bring one of our dogs in on short notice for euthanasia and even though it was obviously a very tough day for us, Squaw Peak Animal Hospital took notice of that and were very gentle with the whole process. We were roomed right away and the process was explained to us by Dr. Clinton. She was also very attentive to our emotional needs with losing our loved one. It ended up being an extremely peaceful process and I am thankful that we were afforded this option. They also are the current providers for my sisters dog that is afflicted with Valley Fever. We are able to make appointments for him to get in quickly and they are always very attentive. All options are always explained thoroughly and we do not ever feel rushed. I would recommend anyone with a furry family member to bring their animals here.

All of our rescues dogs see Dr Ferrera,Dr Clinton or Dr Agnew, All of the staff and Vets care about the work they do and all of the animals they see. They go above and beyond with the care they give and will see you anytime. I have never gotten a we can not see you today when it was urgent or just a walk in. They have a vet on call for questions which give you piece of mind after a surgery. Dr Ferrera does the BEST cherry eyes surgeries and entropian surgeries ever. What I tell all of my adopters is, they provide Top Notch Vet Care. This is a not a vet hospital that will send you out to specialists everytime you turn around, they do many surgeries themselves and do a AWESOME job. I take my personal dogs there and I have a complete level of trust with their staff and the Docs. For me to drive a hr one way to have my dogs seen by the best vets in the city is a Must!!

While dog sitting for a dog with a broken leg, I visited Squaw Peak Animal hospital twice. Both times, I was given lower quality service than the other patrons. Im not entirely sure if this was based on classism or homophobia, but I really didnt care for the older woman with longer dirty blonde hair, who seemed aggravated by my existence, let alone the services i required for the dog. I did not appreciate being ignored, and after getting the employees attention, getting spoken to like Im an idiot. It was a very negative experience. Edit: I spoke with Vanessa about the situation and she was so incredibly nice and helpful. I appreciated her openness and honesty, and how she handled the situation. Vanessas customer service was on point!

I cant say enough good things about this vet clinic! Dr. Agnew is amazing! She is equally concerned about the pets that she cares for and the pets parents. My dog needed to be neutered recently, and while I could have had it done elsewhere and saved about $100 (or more), I did not, and I am happy that I made that decision. The surgery went well, and in spite of himself, my dog is doing well, no doubt, due to the extra time that Dr. Agnew and the staff took to listen to and understand his special needs. This is the vet that you want on your speed dial if your pet is family.

The front office nazi, "Cindy" just hung up on me for asking a question - these people only want your money, they do not care about your pets. Instead of asking for more information about what my in-laws dogs symptoms were, she chose to lie about the vet being gone after making me wait on hold for 10 minutes. I wasnt rude, I didnt call her names or cuss - she hung up on me because I was being assertive and asking questions. HORID GOD AWFUL experience! Dont go here EVER!!!!!!

This hospital has been amazing. My experience with my dobie pup for an ear crop and for an unexpected illness has been great. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to work me in between appts (thanks ladies!) when my pup became ill. I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.

I will not take my dogs anywhere else. The staff is amazing, the Drs are top notch. So caring, and hymble. VET Agnew is our families favorite. Honest, and highly skilled. If you have an English Bulldog dont trust anyone but the staff at Squaw Peak.

This is the only place I have taken my dogs since I moved to Arizona in 91. Quite simply, I would highly recommend you use Squaw Peak Animal Hospital. I have no complaints after 20 years.
