I brought my dog here in June of 2012 for an allergic reaction. They did a fantastic job helping her overcome her issues. Overall, a good experience. Thats not the experience that sticks out in my mind however. My husband and I along with some friends were having a BBQ on the back patio last night (June 12, 2013). My dog started sneezing and bleeding pretty profusely from her nose. I noticed what I thought was a foxtail sticking out of her nose. I tried to get it out myself but she would not let me and immediately started "reverse sneezing" (basically dramatic snorting) and the foxtail was gone. She proceeded to sneeze/reverse sneeze throughout the night but seemed like herself and wasnt bleeding anymore. In the morning today, she was still sneezing pretty dramatically so we knew she needed to pay the vet a visit. We called Burch Creek who got me in very quickly. I saw my favorite vet (cant remember her name) and my dogs favorite as well. She is so friendly and sweet to my dog. It wasnt what they did for my dog that stood out- its what they didnt do. The vet came in and looked in her nose and said she couldnt find the fox tail. She then did something that not many people would do these days- she referred me to a competing veterinary office who had a scope on location, as they do not have a scope at Burch Creek. She offered to call them and got me in to see them immediately. She also did not charge me a cent for the office visit. The reason this stands out to me is because I have heard so many horror stories about veterinarians who will try to squeeze every penny from a client/patient. She could have easily told me we need to sedate her to get a better look, not found the foxtail, and charged me upwards of $200-$400 for the sedation/looksee in her nose, but she did not. This tells me that this veterinarian truly has the best interest of my pet and is not in it for the money, rather the true nature of veterinary care, helping to heal our furry friends.

Burch Creek is seriously the best! Dr. Leavitt is the most amazing, compassionate and competent veterinarian that I have ever been to. About a year and a half ago, my sweet little Pomeranian had a sudden onset of paralysis on his right side. The vet I had been going to for years turned me away as they were "too busy". Even though when I went into Burch Creek they were also really busy, they were quick to make my emergency a priority and Dr. Leavitt saw us immediately (and even stayed late that night for us). He was able to figure out what was wrong and came up with a treatment plan to get my sweet boy back to being his healthy self. I was obviously distraught and the staff was so kind and caring and was there to support me in addition to taking the best care of my pup. Today he is as happy and healthy as can be and I will never take him to anyone but Dr. Leavitt. We recently came in for a yearly check up, vaccinations and teeth cleaning and of course had another amazing experience. Every single staff member here is so sweet and you can tell they all have a passion for animals. Dr. Leavitt genuinely cares about his patients and their families and I can never thank him enough for everything he has done for our family. I also know that price is a concern for some people, and Burch Creek offers very reasonable and affordable care. They will always give you an honest and straightforward estimate (itemized to the very last penny) so you know what to expect. Every aspect of care has gone above and beyond my expectations every time and I highly recommend Burch Creek and Dr. Leavitt to anyone and everyone! I cannot sing their praises enough!

Dr. Lenner is my absolute favorite vet. I trust her with my beloved 17-year-old Dachshund. Besides that, she just saved my Cattle dog mix after he ate some kind of dead animal and had a very scary almost deadly reaction to a toxin. Dr. Lenner was so understanding and sympathetic throughout the ordeal. Shes always been very helpful, knowledgeable, a great listener and she performs the most thorough physical examinations my dogs have ever had: She really takes her time with each animal so I am confident that shes not missing any preventable health issues that will save me money in the long run. Burch Creek may be a little more expensive than some other hospitals in the area, but theyre the best. I know my pets are in good hands and the piece of mind is worth a little extra $. Ive tried four other veterinarians in Ogden because I foster dogs from local animal shelters and they almost always need to see the vet for something. Lenner is hands down the BEST. I wouldnt take my own pets anywhere else. I also like that they support Cause for Paws Utah, a non-profit canine rescue organization. Dr. Clough and one of the vet techs went above and beyond for one of my foster dogs that was with me while she recovered from being hit by a car. I really like all the vet techs there, theyre all so friendly and caring. They go out of their way to make sure my pets are comfortable when I have to leave them there for monitoring and do a good job of putting my mind at ease and calling to keep me updated. Ive been using this veterinary practice regularly since I moved to Utah over a year ago and have always been pleased with Dr. Clough and Dr. Lenner.

We have been taking our pets to Burch Creek since we moved to Ogden almost four years ago. The entire staff is absolutely amazing and we would never consider going somewhere else. Typically, we see Dr. Clough, but we have seen the other vets there during emergency situations. All the vets at Burch Creek are amazing. They love animals and it really shows. They treat people as they would want to be treated if they were bringing in their own animals. Because the office is open on Saturdays, they can accommodate unexpected visits during the weekend. With our various animals, Dr. Clough has helped us through some complex illnesses, an exotic animal (rabbit), and all the other day-to-day concerns that pet owners deal with. When we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to a sick pet, he was a true professional while also being supportive. When confronted with an unusual illness, Dr. Clough was more than happy to consult other professionals and research on his own time in order to give us the best advice and care. I would recommend all the vets at Burch Creek to anyone looking for a vet office that offers it all and really cares about their clients.

We have taken our many beloved animals to Burch Creek for over 23 years. We started with Dr Hansen whom we loved but unfortunately he moved away. Luckily Dr Klar took over our animals care and we really appreciated the time he spends and always answers all of our questions. The hospital added two other doctors which weve had the pleasure of working with. Dr Clough has been great, giving much attention to detail when our animals have a mystery problem, and he is very caring and seems to truly like our animals. Dr Lenner has helped us with our aging animals, even though she didnt know them well she was very sweet and compassionate and helped them to peacefully pass over the rainbow bridge. The vet techs are always helpful and knowledgeable and seem to enjoy working there and with the animals. The office staff has changed over the years but we can honestly say weve never had a bad experience with them and appreciate the calmness they express when the office is super busy. Weve had excellent care over the years for our cats and dogs!!
