This doctor indicates that he practices pediatric dermatology in addition to regular dermatology so I thought he would be perfect in helping determine why both my two year old daughter and I are both suffering from itchy scalp whereas my husband isnt. They set up a dual appointment for us and that is basically where the positive experience ended. The doctor gave off the impression that he was annoyed by my child even being there. He barely scanned my head or my childs head and then confirmed for me that we did not have lice. Considering that no one around us has ended up itching in the month that we have been itching, I was already 100% sure we didnt have lice. He gave no other thoughts or indication of what he thought the issue might be and then wrote me a prescription for something I couldnt read and that he didnt clearly explain to me. Also, I have quite a few moles that I would have liked for a dermatologist to look at but since he was rude and short with me, when the room wasnt filled with an awkward silence, I opted to just get out of there, since his focus was clearly not on me or my skin issues. It was an $80 charge for our appointment and I felt robbed when I left considering how disinterested he was in evaluating and treating us.

So this doctor has pretty good ratings on here, but I dont know if hes gone old and senile since they were posted or if there are two Michael Gordons on W. 15th St. In Suite 212. I went in for a burning and itching sensation on my lips that occurs daily for 10-20 minutes, hoping someone can figure out why its happening. He said he "didnt want to" look at the pictures of the reaction, and told me to "try Vaseline." Considering Ive used the Internet before and Im not a complete idiot, I told him Ive already tried this solution and that Ive used Vaseline exclusively for a 2 month period with no improvement. He then told me it "sounds like youre arguing with me." In addition, I asked him why Ive had freckles appearing in a specific area of my lips, and he told me to "not worry about it right now." This will be the worst $75 you ever spend.

This guys practice is doing so badly he just wants people to come back over and over. he deliberately spends 1-2 minutes only doesnt explain he thinks the issue is, why he is prescribing a specific treatment and what to expect.. when to expect relief. so goddamn frustrating .. i will even go so far as to accuse him of misleading me to come back multiple times but i need to garner more evidence.. but i certainly felt that way.. without goin into details, let me just say that there are many conditions (like seborr dermatitis, herpes simplex and many more) that are simply incurable but only can be managed but this guy can make you come back over and over simply wasting your time and your hard earned money.

I have been to many dermatologists to inquire about a skin condition. When I called today the receptionists apparently did not want new patients. They decided to question what I had and then told me Dr. Golden was a dermatologist and would not be the person to see for this issue. Any time I go to a general care doctor they send me to a dermatologist so Im not sure how that makes sense. I hope Dr. Golden finds this review useful in helping him to run his office better in the future. I would hope he would want to acquire new patients and help them more than the employee I spoke to in the phone.

Just returned from my third visit with Dr. Golden and his staff. If I could give ten stars I would the staff has always been very polite and efficient. Dr. Golden also has been polite, efficient and professional and has handled my issues with care and speed. Ive never waited more than 15 minutes to get into see the doctor. Matter of fact today I had a 8:30 appointment got there at 8:10 and was home by 8:40. Sometimes people give bad reviews because its their fault and wont admit it. Not everyone is going to like a particular doctor or staff but this office is very professional.

Very disappointed with my consultation. My PCP submitted my past consults and labs; Dr. Golden did not bother to review my past treatment methods. He wanted to start me on same antibiotics my PCP had prescribed. He made no effort to take any interest with my concerns. The great reviews are most likely from Botox patients rather than patients with skin concerns. Again, I am extremely disappointed that Dr. Golden did not take the time that I PAID him for to listen to my skin concerns.

After a brief look/consultation (3-3 1/2 minutes) he told me to change my soap (which ive been using for years, not the problem) and handed me a prescription. He didnt seem like he was too concerned about patient wellbeing, or like he wanted to be there. It was a total waste of time for the "McSession". He should put in a drive thru for his practice and save everyone some time... However, extend the offer to "follow-up as needed" for only $90/visit. I think not!

I went to see dr golden for my acne issue but mainly for a spot on bumps on the back of my neck. He prescribed two different steroid creams which just like the person in the other review, maid it worst then before. After trying the second cream during my last visit he told me theres nothing i can do about the bumps which was his way of saying i just have to live with it. What kind of dematologist tells his patient that?

I dont know where these Doctors go to school , I think instead medical school, some of them they took business classes to learn how to make money , not how to cure the disease.I think Dr. Golden is one of them . just charges you , you dont get cured , schedules you for other time , again charges you, and again ......... till you paid hundreds of Dollars .

Got there and waited a hour before getting seen. Then when I actually got into the room to see Dr. Golden, he told me oh you have this wait it out. No prescription for my "diagnosis" or anything. Charged me $80 just for a 2 minute visit. Waste of gas and time! Going to see a different dermatologist.

Every time a dermatologist tells me I need to remove something, Dr. Golden usually disagrees. Seems to me he would also want to operate if he was self-serving and "money-grubbing". I like him and his staff---they are very nice and down to earth.
