I previously went to another dermatologist in Arlington and the doctor prescribed to me a $700 tube of medication that my insurance did not cover. Then I tried the alternative. I tried a stilll expensive medication that this same doctor Rxed to me 7 months ago. It has been almost two months and nothing happended. I also felt rushed by the other doctor. I went to Dr Richey even though I lived far from McKinney and picked his brains. His thinking was different. I liked his way of thinking.. He told me to buy some OTC products that were dermatologist recommended. All in all my Rx amount was just about $35. Compare that to a $700 small tube . He also was able to tell me within 10 minutes whether it was fungal or not (without a culture). This other doctor told me it would take 8 weeks. I do not exaggerate when I tell you that the night I applied that ointment, the next day I saw so much improvement and was no longer itchy, stinging and burning all over my face. The other doctor in Arlington also diagnosed me with a certain disease. Dr Richeys thinking was different. He told me he would not Dx me with that disease unless he knew my whole history. I liked his way of thinking. He was kind, patient and explained everything. As I write this 5 days after seeing Dr Richey, my skin disease (contact dermatitis) is absolutely gone. I have been suffering for almost 3 months, I should have gone to him on Day One. But I am absolutely thrilled I found this doctor! He is going to be my lifelong dermatologist. Thank you very much Dr Richey for your kindness!

Dr. Richey was able to get me in quickly for an emergent procedure when I was 37 weeks pregnant while all other office (I called literally over a dozen) couldnt see me for 2-6 weeks aka on or past my due date. His staff was friendly and worked efficiently.
