My cat got a hemotoma in his ear and we took him here to have it taken care of. The first time we went and they had his ear drained costing us $350. When we got home we googled the correct procedures to take care of a hemotoma which involves surgery, the vet did not go through this procedure. Within two days our cats ear filled back up and we had to go back again for round 2. They drained his ear once again (another $200 in the hole) and claimed that if we come back another time (which THEY KNEW WE WOULD) they would have to do surgery. Why didnt they just do the surgery in the first place? This surgery is going to cost upwards of $500... They milked us for all weve got... They should be ashamed. DO NOT GO HERE, FIND AN HONEST VET.

Recently moved to the area from another state. I needed to take my aging pet to have him looked at due to some recent health changes. I am very pleased with the care my pet received. The vet and the tech were beyond knowledgeable and kind. The Vet spent a good amount of time in the exam room and we were not rushed. I have a lot of experience in taking animals to the various vets back home through rescue work and even working in clinics. I did not feel like a number here and did not feel like the vet was rushing to get us in and out. AMAZING clinic. I will be establishing care for my other pets here.

Dr. B. and the staff at Highland are wonderful. We take our dog to Highland and he gets quality care and love when he spends a few days boarding there. We have referred friends to Highland and they love it. One friend quoted, "This is the only vet Roxie has been too where she is not shaking and afraid." I believe this comes from the top down giving love and understanding to all animals who walk through their doors. My dog, Reggie, is a newly adopted, very shy and timid Pit Bull Terrier. Dr. Brett and the entire staff have taken a lot of extra time and patience with Reggie to make him comfortable in the office during his visits. They did our exams on "Reggies" level, did not rush him, and really took every effort to put him at ease. The staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of the questions that I had. I was referred to Highland Animal Hospital through a friend, and I am so glad! I definitely trust Dr. Brett and the staff to take the best care of Reggie.

There are somethings that money just cant buy which is class, caring and tact. This place just helped me with the loss of my dog. Knowing they did everything they could to save him and care about my well being after the fact. I have the up most respect and loyalty for this place, I will be taking any and all my pets and future ones here from now on. These are the people to go when it comes to caring for your fuzzy loved ones, couldnt ask for a better staff of folks.

Dr. Brett is the absolute best in the business! His compassion and understanding is of the highest standard. He has been our primary Vet for over 15 years and we always keep him, his family ( two legged and four ) , and his staff of equally skilled professionals in our thoughts and prayers. I appreciate that the vets dont just rush to surgery as the answer to a problem but try less invasive techniques first. They all truly care about you and your pets welfare.
