READ: STAY AWAY! Not fake marketing, but actual customer. Not ranting about not getting special treatment (Weve all seen those reviews, and I ignore them too), but sincere warning to other pet owners. They were so bad that I waited a month because I didnt want to do anything rash. A month later and it was so bad that I decided to file a complaint against the vet in question. SHORT VERSION: - when booking, difficult to get a time-slot closer than 4 days out (only reason I didnt go somewhere more available was the good reviews) - on entering, failure by front office staff to either greet owner or get the ball rolling with check-in forms or appointment verification. - blatant attempts to over-bill and under-provide - pushy on additional prescriptions/procedures/services - withholding, by vet, of facts necessary for pet owner to make an informed decision. - no bedside manner with either pet or owner - without owners consent or vets explanation, performed extra procedure on pet in a very sneaky manner, continuing to add items to bill. - told me Id have test results by phone call or email within 24 hours, instead I got a text 5 days later. - didnt even provide the service I went in for (basic checkup on 2 pets) - unwillingness to educate owner on findings of the services they did end up doing. - on exiting, attempt by front office staff to charge at least $200 more for prescriptions that where not given. - questioned by front office staff if I had left with those prescriptions and come back in an attempt to avoid payment *REALLY? Id been there less than an hour and they couldnt remember if Id been in the eval room the whole time or if Id somehow walked out with drugs and come back in, all through the same door 2 yards away?? As if Id leave my pets alone after everything that led up to this point? I planned to write a detailed version but its taken so long just to list everything wrong with this place theres no point to add more. Regarding the bedside manner / education points: When i didnt know the 6-syllable condition she suggested 1 of my dogs MIGHT have, she just named it again and tried to rush me to approve another $100 test. At this point shed already snuck in an extra procedure on my other dog, so I told her I wasnt approving anything without knowing what it was, she left the room mid-sentence, came back with a giant textbook, flipped to the index for the condition, flipped to the page listed, slide it across the examining table and said shed be back in a few minutes but that was everything I needed to know. If you read this far and think maybe its just a guy who caught them on a bad day, or was having a bad day himself and couldnt cut some slack, or maybe he provoked them somehow, 1st off no, 2nd off I wouldnt trust a vet who would retaliate like that anyways, 3rd off just remember its your pets lives were talking about here. I know Im not risking either by ever going back.

I Really Appreciate Them Because They Saved My Dog For Me My Dog Had A Serious Problem And Toke It To Couple Of Hospitals and The Estimate Was Very High And More Than My Budget I Decided To Give My Dog To Shelter So At Least He Doesnt Suffer Anymore But I Was So Sad The Lady In Shelter Found Im Sad And Tried To Help Me Find The Right Doctor For Budget Finally She Told Me Take Him To This Please Doctor Were A Tall Man And Taken Care Of My Zues I Will Bring My Dog Here For Everything And Will Highly Recommended To Everyone I Love To Give Them 7Stars

New to the area - just had our first visit at Josey Ranch Pet hospital. The vet was very hurried, not terribly interested in the dog, did things at double speed and was gone before I could really get a word in edgewise. The other thing that bothered me was the assistant insisted on taking the dog in the back and drawing blood, weighing him, etc without my accompanying him. We will not be going back. The office staff, on the other hand, was wonderful. They were friendly, came out to greet the animal and give him treats, etc. More what I am used to.

I am so honored to write this review! I had a horrible experience with legacy vet in Frisco and let me tell you! Josey Ranch was nice and up front from the absolute beginning! I cant remember the vet I saw but I most definitely will be using them again! I do t mind traveling the 20 minutes for outstanding, exceptional care and service! Thanks so much!
