Dr. Anderson is a wonderful veterinarian. He diagnosed one of our geckos as having an eye infection due to deficient Vitamin A. He gave us antibiotics and taught my wife and I how to give "Coco" eye drops. He saw us on several follow-up visits. He had said there was only a 50/50 chance that she would make it, but thanks to Dr. Anderson and the care we gave her, Coco is now devouring crickets on her own and sees just fine. Today was a sad day because our other leo passed away. Dr. Anderson diagnosed the death as due to lymphoma in all probability, due to discoloration of the organs visible through the thin skin of the belly, and other indicators. He assured me that there was nothing that could be done for her because at this time lymphoma in reptiles is fatal, because there is no chemotherapy as yet for them. I was very sad, but Dr. Anderson helped relieve my sadness by simply talking to me and not rushing me out the door at all. He gave me far more time than any vet I have known has ever given me. Not only that, but he took "Spot" as an emergency patient when I told the receptionist that she had taken a turn for the worse and this could not wait for a regular appointment. The hospital is spic and span and quiet, which is very nice when your pet is stressed and you are stressed because your pet is ill, possibly. I would high recommend Paws & Claws Animal Hospital.

I rescued a sugar glider and the same day I got him I noticed a possible abscess under his right eye. I called that day to get an appt and they fit me in that day! Dr Anderson was very good with my Peanut and gave me antibiotics as well as did a full exam and some information on the care of sugar gliders, since Im a new owner. The exam cost is very reasonable, though the antibiotics were outrageous. I didnt expect my bill to be so much and didnt have enough to pay for both the meds and the visit. So Dr Anderson let me pay for the visit and gave him a dose of antibiotics and let me come back and pick them up the next day. Little Peanut only weighed 47g when he should be at least 90g, but that was due to the previous owner not knowing the proper diet for him. Hes already gaining well with a proper staple diet! His first day in his new home, he ate all day long! Im definitely happy with paws and claws staff and Dr Anderson! They are all very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable! I do wish neuters were cheaper, but Ill still use paws and claws for annual visits and emergencies.

I took my precious dog to this office this morning. It was THE most positive experience I have ever had at a vets office. From the moment I called on the telephone until the time I left, I found the front office staff, the technician, and the doctor extremely professional, kind, caring, and very thorough with my little one. I can honestly say that it was the first time I had visited a vets office when there was absolutely NO pushing for expensive procedures...but instead a thoughtful and very thorough analysis of the situation and a wise approach to care. I immediately felt at home, and my dog was thoroughly relaxed and gave out kisses to everyone. My humble gratitude to the Google reviewers who took the time to write about their experiences there, for you lead me to this wonderful place. I cant imagine going anywhere else. Dr Anderson is absolutely awesome.

Dr. Anderson was fabulous with my little baby western hognose snake. Theyre known to be a generally wiggly species and she literally fell asleep in his hands, even after he looked inside her mouth. He was very gentle, thorough, and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything to me.The hospital also gave me a follow-up call to check on her progress, and allowed me to leave a message for the vet to call me back when I had a concern but didnt want to bring her in. I also just got a new puppy and brought him in for his first check-up. I had the same positive experience with my dog as I did with my snake. The front desk staff and vet techs are always kind and gentle and Ive never had a vaguely negative experience. I certainly recommend Dr. Anderson and the team at Paws and Claws!

This place is AMAZING. My rabbit was presenting symptoms of what I thought to be a fracture with her hind leg/hock area. In the past I had a flemish giant unfortunately pass away to an undiagnosed fracture and I wasnt gonna let that happen again. I told the receptionist this and she insisted that she could squeeze me in even if there would be a bit of a wait. Still worried I was over reacting they got me in and put all my worries to rest. The vet was very sympathetic and staff was super accommodating. My Snow Bunny may be a little sleepy the next couple of weeks but they gave me the information and medication she will need for a successful recovery. I will be coming back for a check up in the future. TOTALLY worth the hour drive

The Drs at Paws and Claws are amazing doctors! They are very knowledgeable and personable and really take an interest in you and your pets situation. They took every avenue possible to ensure our Labradors coat came back after he acquired an allergy that left him with patches of fur missing. Hes now got all of his fur back and his stomach issues are now under control. I have to say I am a little biased because my wife Jody is a receptionist there. But regardless of that, I would take my animals and my business there because of the love both Drs share for the animals. Ive also seen the behind the scenes type of business that goes on with the staff and the level of professionalism that is given by all employees is second to none!

Have taken my Guinea Pig to these guys twice for different problems. They have been absolutely incredible, very knowledgeable, nice office, polite staff. In speaking with the doctors you can tell they know what theyre talking about. On top of all that theyre great at squeezing people in for appointments. I was concerned with medicating my Pig myself because he gets so squirmy and they showed me how to do it, even marked on the syringe exactly how much to give him. The medicines they prescribed fixed up my Pig right away, I wont go anywhere else. Dr Anderson - you are the man!

Weve taken our cat and our rabbit here on numerous occasions and the staff could not be friendlier or more personable, from the veterinary doctors over to the reception desk and everywhere in between. Its also affordable compared to other vets Ive used over the years, and theyre unfailingly reasonable, never charging us unnecessarily and giving us plenty of options, communicating well and clearly. Never had a bad experience here, and during animal-related stresses its a wonderful thing to see such friendly faces.

Dr. Anderson is amazing! While speaking to us, he physically examined Riley, my Solomon Island Eclectus, without Riley even realizing that he was actually being handled. Dr. Anderson wasnt rushed, spent time explaining what we needed to know, and didnt put Riley through any unnecessary tests. I was also very impressed with his avian knowledge. Im extremely fussy with my birds, and I feel 100 percent comfortable with Dr. Anderson caring for them.
