I would recommend this office to any family with pets :) Brought my adult German Shepherd last Tuesday to Tuscan Ridge as a new patient and we were both met with great respect, patience, knowledge, and genuine care from the moment the receptionist picked up the phone that morning until we walked out of the office that afternoon after being able to make a same day appointment. The office is obviously designed for the pet owners comfort as much as the pets with the "waiting room" (where I didnt have to wait) feeling more like a family room with a leather sofa youre welcome to share with your pet and the "exam" room equally as homey with more pet friendly furniture, throw rug, and big windows. As it was our first visit, Dr. Harper spent nearly an hour relaxing with us in this room getting to know Baby and his history and allowing him and I to settle in before his exam which was amazing considering the past rushed/impersonal experiences wed had with his past vet. Basically, if i may make an anology: Tuscan Ridge is to our old vet as the family owned and operated restaurant with three course meals is to McDonalds drive thru, only with basically the same "menu" prices :)

I have used other "dog daycare" places, veterinarians, boarding facilities before and am happy to have found Tuscan Ridge. Not only is the staff knowledgeable, helpful, positive-but the facility is great for people and dogs! I could talk about how pretty the facility is, how safe for the dogs the grounds are, how knowledgeable/great Dr. Harper and the staff are...but the real reason I entrust my "kids" to these guys is that- the staff tells you stories about your dog that only someone who spends time and cares about the animal would know, Ive seen tears when they talk about a client who is sick, they accommodate each dogs personality and the whole staff is helpful/informative. Ive had dogs all my life and Tuscan Ridge is truly a place and team of people that go above and beyond for your furry family member!

Tuscan Ridge is an absolutely wonderful veterinary practice. Dr. Harper is warm, down to earth, and careful to explain everything, all while she is thoroughly charming her patients! Every member of her team is friendly and down to earth, and its quite obvious all are genuine animal lovers. Another great feature: the examination rooms feel more like comfortable living areas as opposed to typical stainless steel/cold/intimidating examination rooms that might be off-putting to your pet. I recommend Dr. Kelly Harper and her staff without reservation. Oh - one last point: our Australian Labradoodle Daisy LOVES going to the vet! What more of a recommendation could I offer?

I have worked in the pet care industry for over 10 years, including 4 years at a veterinary clinic. I am a very picky customer when it comes to veterinary care. Dr. Harper at Tuscan Ridge Animal Hospital did not disappoint! She and her staff made my dog, Chica, my 1 year old son, and me feel right at home. She spent a lot of time with us, listening and collaborating about my dogs complex medical conditions. Chica was given lots of love and liver treats freshly topped with squeeze cheese. Chica was examined while sunbathing on a beautifully upholstered love seat. I am thankful to have found a great vet in the town of Wake Forest.

I picked Dr. Harpers practice because she had come so highly recommended by a neighbor. I am so glad I did. She and her staff have helped my family of 3 furbabies thru many expected and unexpected trials. We have had routine shots and puppy care for the new puppy, bladder surgery for my female Corgi and end of life care for my beloved Gabe. I highly recommend this practice for their great professionalism and care of my dogs.

Tuscan Ridge is the choice for those of us who think of our pets as furry family members. Dr. Harper has filled the office with modern equipment and furnishings.Yet she has created an atmosphere that feels more like visiting a friend house than a medical office. I foster for the Franklin County Humane Society and I had to take Bella, 5.3 lb chihuahua, my foster, in for blood work before she could be spayed. Dr. Harper and the staff were awesome. Bella is there, as I write this, and she had her spay and also dental procedure. This is a great place to take your fur babies to. Extremely caring doctor and staff.
