AVOID DR TASHMAN!!!!! Shes a FRAUD!! I had the misfortune of seeing her on 2 separate occasions as she was the on call doctor at the time.  The 1st time over a yr ago, my daughter who was 1 at the time had a really bad rash on her bum (raw and bleeding). She just asked a couple of questions before she started writing something on her notepad, which shocked me since my daughter was still fully clothed and she never asked to see anything...I had to suggest that she take a look and ended up recommending something that I stuck with for 2 months before I had had enough and had to schedule another appt with Dr. Pattan, who recommended something as simple as Triple Paste, within days the raw and redness was gone!! Tashman ended up wasting my time, my money as I had to pay for another dr to see & diagnose my child, not to mention my daughter was in pain for an extended period of time. The 2nd time was a few months ago, again she was the only dr on call & my 1 yr old son had a bad fever. As soon as she heard he had a fever, she said "I had a girl come in this morning with a fever as well but its normal, theyre fine" and ended up sending me back home. What kind of a person claiming to be a DOCTOR says that theres nothing wrong with a person (let alone a CHILD) who has a FEVER??? Anyone can tell you a fever is one of the FIRST indication of some sort of bacterial or viral infection!!!!! The next day his temperature went up even more, upwards of 103 degrees, so I had to RESCHEDULE another appointment (notice a pattern??) and ended up seeing Dr. Brooks (who wasnt very pleasant to see, he seemed grumpy and mean and not friendly at all, specially given that his patients are all children). When I got my bill and saw that she was charging me about $100 for her pointless visit, it felt like a slap across the face. Apparently the only way to have the charge dropped is by speaking with the dr directly, so when I spoke with Tashman, she got on the defense, saying that my child had only had a fever for 1 day which is why she couldnt diagnose him and that I still have to pay because thats what Dr. Brooks told her. I then had a call from Dr. Brooks who then threatened that they would take me to COURT!!!!!??! All for a $100 which is insignificant to a doctor (or myself actually but it was just a matter of principle). These doctors are both dirty and sleazy and arent afraid to use intimidation methods. I would avoid BOTH but Tashman cant diagnose anything and will waste your time, your money, but much more importantly, your children will suffer!!!!

We see both Dr. Doberne and Dr. Tashman regularly and they are both fantastic! Have been with this office since my oldest son was born 6 1/2 years ago. They are always amazing about getting us in for same day appointments. I have 3 kids now, all seen there. The baby was born with a severe and chronic illness and the entire office has been amazingly helpful and supportive. We are there just about every single week, frequently more than once in the same week, and they are always great about squeezing us in. In fact, since the baby has a weak immune system, they try to get us in when no other kids are around (to protect him from getting sick), so we are frequently there when the office is not even open. Love Simi Pediatric Partners and refer to all my friends!!

Dr. Tashman has been great from day of birth to current 7 month stage. Helpful over the phone and great with our baby at every visit.
