I felt the need to write you to let you know that your clinic has changed my dogs personality and his whole demeanor with a procedure that you performed. Last January while on vacation my dog Ziggy had to have surgery on his burst anal gland and I brought him to your clinic for the procedure. While checking him in, a staff member asked if I would like his nails trimmed while he was under sedation because you could get them a little shorter while they were under. I said yes to the trim. After picking him up and getting home, I was quite shocked when I saw his nails that they had been cut off to about 1/2 inch from his pad. It looked as though it had to have been painful but Ziggy seemed to be walking okay and there wasnt anything that could have been done at that point so I went on. He became very guarded at his feet to be touched and after MANY months went by it was finally time for a nail trim. I have always trimmed Ziggys nails myself for the last 7 years but apparently since YOUR nail trim it will happen no more. Not only have his nails grown back weird and sideways but he is so freaked out over his feet to even be touched that he screams and yelps like someone is trying to kill him if you even try to hold his foot in your hand. I have finally found a groomer that will let me bring him in before store hours so he doesnt disturb the other dogs with his screaming, thrashing and almost certain poops all over because he is so distraught over the whole procedure. Keep in mind that I did this at home myself before his surgery with not even a whimper or concern. After just leaving the groomers from another horrific ordeal, I just could not keep myself from writing this letter to you. As stated before, you have changed his personality and his whole demeanor with what you did. He can be curled in a ball sleeping soundly and if petting him you get too close to touching his feet he will dart up and go lay somewhere else. Shame on you and your staff! PLEASE do not do this to another animal! I know that they arent your own pets but they are ours and we love them as family.

This animal hospital was recommended to me by a friend. Because its on the beach I wouldnt have gone there without this recommendation because I thought it would be expensive period Ive had terrible experiences with these Animal Hospital boutiques. This one is not like that, this doctor actually cares about animals and the prices are reasonable more reasonable than the last two boutiques, that Ive been to period Im so disgusted with PetSmart Animal Hospital Banfield that I would never go there and I certainly dont recommend it.

Dr Paredes is truly a wonderful Veterinarian. He will not do any unnecessary test or procedures if really not needed. Dr Paredes spayed our 7yr old Gigi every thing was perfect,He was available even as often as I called Dr. Paredes with questions.Dr Paredes is always available to talk or he will call you back soon. He has treated Gigi for surgerys, injuries and wellness exam. In such a short time of getting to know them.We can"t say enough about Sun-Surf and the whole staff. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DID FOR US AND GIGI!!

The staff is always very friendly. The Dr. is laid back, friendly and very calm. Our dog Cooper doesnt trust anyone as he was abused but the docs personality and calmness help to treat him and get what is needed done. The prices are great too and it doesnt seem like youre getting ripped off. With his many years of practicing and experience I totally trust him and value what he has to say. We drive 40 minutes just to take our dogs there. We really appreciate all they do.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff is absolutely wonderful and always goes above and beyond to make sure my dogs get the best care. I have never had a vet who calls to check on my animals frequently and knowing that I can contact them anytime is such a relief! I highly highly recommend Sun-Surf Animal Hospital!

I was looking for a Vet who was personable and also did not cost an arm and a leg! Dr Al and all staff were very friendly, and very efficient. We came for blood tests and vaccinations for 2 dogs and were in and out within 30 minutes! This is the Vet Ive been looking for. And totally worth the 30 minute drive for me!

I never have enough positive feedback to give about Dr. P and his staff. They are the best of the best. They all go above and beyond what any other veterinarian hosptial would do and it is all at a very reasonable priced. Thank you again for getting my baby boober, Kozmo well enough to come home.

Excellent Vet. Awesome with my "Kids". Very reasonable prices, I have 4 dogs and they all will have had their teeth cleaned and up to date in shots. I still have my House!! So grateful for Dr. Alfonso and his team!!
