I reluctantly took my dog to VCA because his shots were overdue and I could not locate my vet that was formally employed there. I was advised that on Fridays, shots were half off. I made an appointment on a Friday, the dog received his shots (hopefully) and he needed a heart worm test. My bill was over $200.00 for his shots and heart worm test!! They snuck in a $89.00 fee for blood work up that I did not consent to. The staff argued with me that my healthy 2 year old dog needed his kidneys, liver, WBC, and other things examined in case he was sick!! In fact, I was not the only one they did this to. My sister was in the waiting room listening to a woman question the staff-a rude woman by the name of Jennifer, about an $89.00 charge with a code next to it. The woman insisted that the charge be removed and I guess Jennifer removed this charge for blood work. What is interesting is that when this VCA does draw blood, they do so from a shaven spot on the dogs inner leg. The dog had no evidence of blood being drawn. And the best part, even though I paid half in cash and half by check, I cannot get my refund for 4 weeks!!! These people cannot be trusted!!

I reluctantly brought my dogs there twice, 100% because they were 2 miles away and close. Shame on me for not doing the research and questions. Bring your wallet, your first born, your home title and retirement fund. Youre going to need it after a visit to them. Youre a number, not a customer...and whatever money they can squeeze out of you they will. I drove 45 minutes instead of 5 minutes and found the proper and caring vet Ive been looking for. Look, its 2009 and times are tight. I understand you should not put a dollar value on good health care. Granted. But, on the other side of that coin, that doesnt give anyone the right to bend you over for the services they offer. This place will...and they dont care, and they dont work with you. If youve got deep pockets and want something in the SCS area, go ahead. If you truly care about your animal and your wallet, go elsewhere.

PLEASE, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY KILLED MY DOG. READ ALL REVIEWS. I DONT CARE IF THEY ARE OLDER REVIEWS. THE PLACE IS THE SAME OR WORSE. I TRUSTED THESE PEOPLE. THEY CHARGED ME FOR THINGS I DIDNT KNOWINGLY APPROVE OF. BUT WORSE, MY DOG DIED A HORRIBLE DEATH. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, TAKE YOUR CHANCES BUT YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR ANIMAL AT RISK. I FEEL I MUST WRITE THIS FOR THE SAKE OF THE POOR ANIMALS THAT CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. READ THE FORMER REVIEWS. THERE IS A CULTURE OF CORRUPTION HERE. THINK OF ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES HERE THAT DIDNT TAKE THE TIME TO OPEN A GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO BE ABLE TO WRITE A REVIEW. AS ONE REVIEW STATES "THEY ARE WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING." THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG AT THIS PLACE. THEY ACT LIKE THEY CARE, BUT ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CARE AND WORSE. YOUR BELOVED PET CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES SO IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET STAY AWAY.

The service at this Belle Tire was fine at first when I told them what was wrong and they said that they would test drive my car and give me an estimate for free. Things went downhill from there. When I told them that I had found a shop that would do the work they said I needed for about $75 cheaper, they were extremely rude to me. The man at the desk was visibly angry and said right in my face, "Well, thats just great". He also said that I shouldnt trust this other place because they wouldnt do a good job, and he didnt even know where I was taking it. I was very disappointed with my experience here and will never go back for any reason.

I too felt that this vet was all about the money and not about the animals. I was charged for a full exam and the vet never even looked at my dogs ears. I was charged for a nail clip and that never got done either. They held my dog in a cage for 4 hours before doing a tooth removal but I had to have her there by 8 am???? She was so stressed she chewed her leash and they did not replace, they gave me a $5 credit, try to find a leash for $5. I am new to the city and would appreciate any referrals if someone would not mind.

I recently switched to this VCA, following Dr. Banaszak from another Veterinary Hospital. Ive found the VCA office staff to be friendly and helpful and appreciate the same high level of care Dr. Banaszak has always provided me and my dog. Hes been there twice now, once for a puncture injury from a branch and once when one of his claws was ripped off. Both times I got an appointment quickly, the staff was sympathetic and my dog was treated very well. I would definitely recommend this VCA location and Dr. B in particular.

I recently went to this location to have 2 tires replaced. They told me that the tires I needed were on "backorder" for 2 months so I would need to replace all 4 of my tires. This sounded a little suspicious, so I called around and the spoke to 2 other tire stores that said they could have my tires in by the next day.

When my 14 year old dog suddenly couldnt walk I rushed him to VCA. The staff there were very nice. Dr. B was very kind and gentle with my pet. He also explained everything he was doing and made sure I understood what was going on. This was my first time at this VCA and I will be returning in the future.

Took my dog in for a lump in his ear, they said super easy, quick procedure. The next day we went to pick him up, and he was laying there dead. Horrible, they didnt even have the decency to call and tell us first. After investigation, we found out they overdosed him with Ketamine. :(

I was a 20+ year client at Parkview and recently followed Dr. Banaszak to VCA. I am very pleased with VCA. I dont have to wait forever for my appointment and the staff have all been pleasant and helpful. I appreciate the intimacy of a smaller office and am happy I made the switch.

They tried to sneak additional tests on me before the appointment for my cat and I am finding another vet. The sad part is I was a new customer and they tried to shiest me right off the bat. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY SEEM NICE BUT ARE ONLY WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHING.

Have given this place several opportunities to prove themselves only to be disappointed each time. The staff is rude and condensending to their clients. They failed to answer all our questions and failed to do a full thorough exam. Will never go back again.

I took my dog to another vet for 3 years. What they couldnt solve, VCA did in one visit. Staff is friendly. Dr answered my questions & had suggestions that i could do at home & save some $. Totally happy.
