Id give no stars if optional. They are a total rip off. After telling me to take my dog in, they charge me 55 bucks and say we cant treat till Monday, Monday comes they charge me out rages prices for pain medicine and anesthesia to clean out a anal duct. I paid 300 total from this visit. No incisions, no stitches, just cleaning a gland! I read my dogs file before meeting with the doctor, after complaining he stone walled explained they didnt charge me a visit fee since I paid 55 on Saturday, yet they charged me 45 for a partial hospital visit ( that is the same as a visit fee!) they charged me more money to gas my 24lb dog then my dentist does to gas me ! Then after complain and requesting records the doctor went back and added to his chart that he is aggressive and needs a muzzle and that I complained ( passive aggressive much sir? ) Oddly his nurse carried him out to me, so I guess he really is mean! his record states he should have meds and lotion and I had to ask for them 3 separate times and ask two separate times for my dogs complete records. So if you want an ethical practice that will care for your dog, not rip you off and use manipulative if not downright unethical and illegal business practices then please seek a better vet. My regular vet reviewed the record and said it should have been a max 150!. Many other vets in the area who are more ethical and transparent then this one. Please look around before subjecting your loved animal to their money pit.

Ive been coming here for 10 yrs now for our 4 fur babies 2 dogs & 2 cats the doctors & staff are the best people in the world to care for our pets they are so kind & caring & very patient especially with our 1 dog dukey who is nippy when being examined they also took care of our 1st dog & cat who are in heaven now 10yrs ago. & i recently found a stray dog & no other place including the eastpointe animal control where i live would take her i called moore vet & explained how i found her on our street i wish we couldve kept her but we already have 2 dogs & moore vet say to bring her in the dog was so happy to go there i knew they would help her find a home or find her family the staff made her feel safe & loved i called & checked on the stray a few days later because was my 1st time finding a stray dog so i felt i should check on her the dog trusted me enough to come to me when i call her over she almost got hit by a car so i was trying to get her off the street & they said she was doing good probably would get adopted i truely believe moore vet staff are angels from heaven they truely care for your pets like family

I took our 18 yr. old cat named Ashley to the Hosp., knowing he was very sick...I cant say enough good things about the entire staff and Dr. Burkholder who not only helped Ashley but myself as w Dr. Burkholder basically confirmed what my worst fears were was to put Ashley to sleep and end his suffering. They allowed me to spend as much time as I needed to say Goodbye to our beloved Ashley. They were so kind, compassionate and caring, not only for our beloved cat, but were very patient and caring for me as well. A few yrs. ago we had to put our Smokey to sleep and Dr. Nurse was the attending Doctor and all of the staff were just as nice and patient with him as well as with me again I would recommend this facility without hesitation. Thank You and God Bless you all.

I have been taking my pets to Moore Vet Hospital for more than 25 years. During that time, I have had four dogs and three cats and Dr. Nurse has cared for Tiffy, Holly, Greystone, Callie, Mia, Whizzy, and now Murphy. He is a compassionate, knowledgeable person who always remembers my pets, providing them with the best of care and providing me with down to earth, practical advice. His staff members are always kind, caring and service oriented. I feel like this practice has literally been a part of our lives and I would highly recommend them for your family, too!

I went to Moore Veterinary Hospital perhaps ten Years ago I had an older cat that was about 10 years old and younger kitten at 3 months old. I have no complaints about the service I received from Dr. Richard Nurse. He was always professional. Sometime later, the older cat crossed over the rainbow bridge at age 13 and the other one, Sunny, I had for 6 Years. Then I had to give him up for adoption because I moved to Adrian, MI. I couldnt bring him with me.Sunny came in August, 2009 and this is 2016. I had to say goodbye to him in 2014.

I absolutely love this place. When in one of the scariest moments with my dog, they took her in and treated her. They said she almost didnt make it but with this team she did. And the staff is so sweet! Reading the other reviews I cant help but think if they were in the hospital, wouldnt they want everything done right no matter the price? You get what you pay for honestly. Yes, they are a little pricey, but try finding a vet that is cheap and actually cares for your loved one the way these people do. Thank you Moore!

I have a big dog, who is a big baby. New situations make him very nervous. If he could, he would shrivel up into nothing. Dr. Burkholder was wonderful with him! She was attentive and professional. She even managed to roll his huge self over when he was acting like a 102# beetle. Dr Burkholder explained everything to me, but in laymens terms. She gave me different options for care, with price points. I truly appreciate that. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. We have found OUR new vet! :)

Dr. Nurse and the veterinary staff took wonderful care of our cats. One staff member, if things were quiet when I took the cat to get her nails clipped, would take the time to help brush her (she had a double coat, very challenging). As happens, when both cats were old and sick and we took them in to put them out of pain, the entire crew was wonderful to both the cat and us during that sad time. True animal lovers.

Moore Veterinary Hospital cares just as much for you as they do for your pet. The vets and staff are very efficient and I really feel like they care about the well-being of my pets. I completely trust their opinion and recommendations with all of my pets needs and wouldnt think twice about it. I also find their rates very reasonable compared to other veterinarians I have gone to in the past.

I had a real bad experience going here last week they put my dog under anesthesia and she died on the way home from this vet and then they do not want to claim any responsibility for what they did dr. Nurse said she inhaled to much air I am not buying it. I am not happy and I never had any money refunded for the pain and suffering. I will not recommend any one to see this vet. Ever again.
