We rescued a beautiful German Short Haired Pointer who is appr. a year old. Charlie (we named him) is sweet, loving, understands many commands and gets along great with our 2 dogs and 1 cat. We couldnt be happier with Charlie. He is a wonderful addition to our family. We just moved here to Washington-Wilkes and just love everything about our beautiful little town. We read reviews and decided to bring Charlie in for a complete exam and neutering. We only had Charlie at this point for literally 14 hours before dropping him off for these things. Only to find out that Charlie would have to stay over night. We were worried about him and concerned how he would react to leaving one place to come home with us only to be dropped off for an overnight. As it turns out, he was a trooper and handled it well. When I picked him up, I could see he was feeling better even after his procedures. I was welcomed with smiles and lots of friendly staff here. Everyone was so nice and took such good care of Charlie. When our other pets need their shots and exams, we will without a doubt bring them here! The prices are very fair and the staff, just awesome. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome and taking great care in Charlies needs. Joe & Laura W.

I have three little mini donkeys and have had a wonderful experience with the staff at Wilkes Vet. Service. I did not know much about the care of these precious animals and they have helped with shots, worming, feeding and advice. They have been patient when the donkeys were less than cooperative and spent time and energy if the situation called for it. They have been on time and always came when we had an appointment. My family and I have used WCVS for more than 25 years. They have treated my horses,dogs,and cats in a professional and courteous manner. It is very obvious that Dr. Sales and his staff care very deeply about their patients. Over the years, they have responded to my calls, day or night, promptly and without question. I have had many vets in different locations over the years, and have found none to equal the WCVS. You can be sure that your animals will get the best care available from the people who care.

I so appreciate the whole office at Wilkes County Vet. Dr. Sales has taken excellent care of my 3 dogs (Gucci, Zeus & Lucy) as well as my 2 horses. The staff is very friendly and loving toward my animals and I couldnt ask for a more knowledgable group of doctors. I highly recommend this group to anyone who loves their animals as if they were family.

We love Wilkes County Veterinary Services. We have 3 dogs - one is 15 - and they are so kind and patient with them and us. They take their time and are very thorough with their examinations and treatments. We travel 2 hours for the dogs yearly exams because we love this practice. I cant say enough good things about them.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Sales and Wilkes County Vet Services for 12+ years. They are caring and knowledgeable and always go the extra mile for my fur family (dogs, cats, pigs, horses. . .) Not only do I recommend them highly but my animals like to go to the vet and that is high praise.

Everyone here is so caring. We have four dogs and I am glad we have such a great vets office to take care of our precious pups. We also board our dogs there when we travel and I never have to worry about them when we are out of town. Highly recommended!
