In April 2012, my 6 1/2 year old Golden Retriever became quite ill. My local vet ran many tests/performed sugery and while they could not come to a conclusive diagnosis, they suggested I take my dog to West Chester, PA because they felt very strongly that he had some sort of cancer but they could not determine the exact kind. It should be noted that I live in State College, PA which is almost a 3 hour drive each way. Dr. Jeglum quickly diagnosed him with multiple myeloma and immediately started him on a specific protocol. My dog went into remission rather quickly and remained in remission for almost two years. In August 2014, he came out of remission and was starting to have some other issues, so I made the difficult decision to put him down. But I have to say that I would highly recommend Dr. Jeglum and her staff. They were so helpful and so kind. One day in the waiting room another pet owner said to me - you know you are just buying time. Well, I can tell you that it was the best purchase I ever made. Not only did it give me my best friend for two more years, but I had the opportunity to meet a staff that cared about me and my dog.

Sophie, a 9 yr. old Puggle, was sent to Dr. Jeglum on 3/2/17 for ultrasound and CBC. She was severely anemic and suspected cancer. Dr. Jeglum sent her home with meds and she returned 3/3/17 because of severe yellowing of lips, ears and very weak and could not tolerate meds. (organ failure). We expected euthanasia at that time. My husband asked for "no false promises" right from the beginning. So we were surprised when they sent her home again with no instructions other to bring her back on Monday, 3/6/17. She started vomiting later that evening and passed away. It is beyond our comprehension that a VMD would offer no advise or tell us there was no hope when it was obvious that she should not be put through anymore tests/procedures and would not survive. We are heart broken to say the least, and wonder if Dr. Jeglum was just using her for research. I worked at New Bolton Center, Univ. of PA for 13 years, and know that this goes on! Therefore, we definitely do not want to recommend anyone to Dr. Jeglum that really cares for their pet. Sincerely, Henry and Shirley Raimato

We were referred by the Ocean View Animal Hospital to see Dr Jeglum at the VOSRC in Westchester PA on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Best advice we could ever have. We called the very next day and had a call back immediately with an appointment on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, because they made sure the radiologist was in. We arrived and were welcomed by an extremely kind and supportive staff. Gilligan was very well taken care of and Dr. Jeglum told us she would be very agressive with his treatment and she was. She suggested admitting Gilligan into the hospital which we did and he stayed overnight for two days. Everytime I called she got on the phone with me and kept me informed. Unfortunately, Gillgan was very very sick by the time they seen him and we had to say goodbye on May 3, 2017. However, I feel 100% that he got the best possible care he could and I felt very comfortable know he was in the right place. Very caring and professional with us even with his passing. Very compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Jeglum and the VOSRC. Thank you.

VOSRC came highly recommended when our sheltie contracted cancer back in 2014. We first met with Dr. Jeglum and within a few moments my wife and I felt a little less stressed. She looked at Kotas condition and then brought in Dr. Schofield for a consult - again, she was very nice and professional. When all was said and done, Kota was cancer free (with the assistance of an amputated leg), but nonetheless he was good to go. We have been coming back to VOSRC since August of 2014 and will not go anywhere else. The staff and the doctors - such as Dr. Nelson - are top notch and show a great deal of care and patience with us. Because of their compassion, our Kota is still with us, and we will be forever grateful.

Wonderful facility with over the top knowledge topped off with loving caring staff. The same goes for their Chalfont facility for radiation. Katie,my Samoyed walks in there willingly for her treatments. They love her and she loves them. I have her today because of both facilities. Thank you.

The mood of the staff is very upbeat. Dr. Jeglum is so very knowledgeable and thorough. She treated my Australian Terrier Bing for bladder cancer and gave us 2.5 additional years of quality life. I will always be eternally grateful.
