My family has been going to them for years. While it is a dog and cat only vet, one of the doctors was willing to see my rat, as we were previous clients and she is well verse in pocket pets. My rat, Robin had (has) a tumor and she was very good at help us confirm that (rather than it being a cyst or abscess) she did everything the way you should with a rat and was very knowledgeable. And he did so well! The nurse who was with us was also very inquisitive and interested in him, and he enjoyed the pets she was giving him! This animal hospital is full of such amazing people willing to help, and with one of the lowest costs in the valley for a vet appointment. The have been amazing with all of our dogs and cats and I would recommend them to any one in the area!

I started bringing my dog here in September. I had a great experience with his check up and then a few days later, he was developing nodules all over his back. I took him back a day later, had to pay again only for the vet to say she never saw anything like that before. A month later, he was still sick, they looked at him and told me that it was most likely cancer. They gave me a pamphlet to go to another place to see what my options would be. Overall they were nice enough and caring, but i feel as though knowledge wise, they could have done better. They sent me out thinking my dog was sick and they didnt know how to treat him- not very comforting. The prices are also decent, but I wont be back.

I am a disabled senior who has a prescious 13 year old short hair cat named Baby. She became ill and I had no way to get her to a vet. A volunteer from the Cat Shack referred me. drove me to Emmaus Animal Hospital. This group of staff members are wonderful not just with pets. They go far and beyond the call of duty. Dr. Obenrader is my cats vet he is THE BEST VET I HAVE EVER MET. He is gentle and does not do any unecasary tests. He explains things so you can understand. This group of staff is the BEST if you want to call with a question the staff will always get your message to the vet . And ALWAYS CALL BACK. Since I have been with this group I WOULD NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

My experience for the past few years is like night and day with the other reviewer. Ive lived all over the country and have been to many vet offices (my job kept me out of PA for a while). This is the best ever. Ive been back home here for five years and wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else. Theyve taken great care of our (now) 3 - and were extremely compassionate when I had to put one of my babies to sleep last week. There are never high-pressure treatments pushed, lots of options given, compassionate and extremely competent vets, and a wonderful office staff who knows all of us by name. Hope they are in business for a really long time.

Stay away from this vet. the staff is nasty.. OVER PRICED they do not keep there appointments in a timely manor.. i had an appointment for a certain time and after having my dog stressed from being there 30 min past the appointment i asked how long this would be. I received a nasty response of we are running behind I also asked them to take a look at my dog ears they told me that they would need a 24 notification before the appointment to do that..... I Will be getting another Vet ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My prayers go out for all of the animals under there care

On my dogs first visit, he was very aggressive. I attribute that to him never having had a good experience before we adopted him. He fought the muzzle aggressively and was difficult. Since that visit, he has calmed down considerably . He likes the staff - especially when they give him a treat first. The last visit and the current visit went well - they drew blood both times and with no problem from our Mastiff mix dog. We have no plans to change to another vet. We are VERY HAPPY with Emmaus Animal Hospital.

I have been taking my cat to Brie at Emmaus Animal Hospital since 2000. I want to say thank you for the excellent veterinary service throughout the years. The compassion, knowledge, and caring staff should be commended! Dr. Kris Bufanio has been there for my cat (and me) over the years and only wants the best for her. The front desk folks are great! Mary took the time to answer sensitive questions I had with much compassion. Thank you all for the excellent services you perform!

Dr Obenrader is the best he is why we continue to go to Emmaus Animal Hospital. Their front desk staff is HORRIBLE they talk over top of you and are condescending...no one pays attention and although they have your pets records they expect you to remember what their doc said. Last straw was when we get a case of cat food for our dog. Weve been getting this food from them since the doc prescribed it a year ago. They need to get their stuff together over there. Not happy...

The office was spotless, the staff were so kind and we immediately felt like family, you could see they loved our pets just as much as we did and even took their pictures to put up on their wall, they answered all our questions and addressed all of our concerns, test results were quick and we got phone calls back the very next day, and we truly felt that our pets were getting amazing care. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hospital! Thank you so much!

Every time I ask what something will cost, they quote me one price and the charge me considerably more. The first time, I took my cat in for an initial visit, they told me it would cost $45 but it ended up costing me twice as much. The second time for his neuter, I was told one price and charged more than that. Im a single parent that lives on a budget so Im pretty upset about it and will not be taking my cat back there.

I am an over the road truck driver. I stopped in here to try and find some insulin for my cat. They didnt have it but the took the time to call everyone in the area to see if anyone had it. I cant say thank you enough for helping someone who isnt even a client. The friendly and helpful attitude of everyone in that office, if I ever need assistance with my cat while Im in the area this would be my first choice.

If I could give them more stars I would! Ther are all incredibly friendly and competent. I always ask for Dr. Chris, she is amazing. When we had to put our dog down last summer they were all so passionate and careing. They even stayed open late so I could get there to see our dog before she passed. They are so awesome there and I wouldnt think about going anywhere else! Thank you!

Ive been taking all of my pets to Emmaus Animal Hospital for more than 6 years and could never imagine going anywhere else! The doctors, nurses, and staff are exceptionally friendly and truly care for us and for our pets!! No matter what the situation is....they always make time to see our pets and give us all options available! Thank goodness for them!!!!
