Vets are absolutely excellent. My two dogs were patients there for many years. Receptionist was consistently rude. When my dog needed immediate attention, they turned me away. Didnt make me feel comfortable not having someone I could rely on. Additionally, they are way overpriced as compared to other Vets in the area. I have been going to Aston Vet for the past 2 years and couldnt be happier. Office staff and Vets are friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable. Reply to response - (to person responding on behalf of Vets). Dr Hahn and I spoke over the phone about this incident. Spend less time trying to negate every negative review and more time learning how to be empathic and professional so your waiting room isnt always empty. In any event, the receptionist said there was no vet in the office when I brought in my bloody dog and told me to leave but he did come out from the back office when I said I was leaving the practice. The truth would have been much better. Bottom line - if I cant count my doctor for emergencies, and not just annual shots, they arent the right doctor for us. Happy to see you have other pet owners that didnt have the same experience as me.

Dr. Hahn has been our veterinarian for 19 years now. I spent the first 5 of those years as an employee and I can tell you that his compassion, clinical acumen and intellect are unmatched in the field. For our herd he has suffered through myriad surgeries, office visits and drop-in emergencies rife with growls, bites, scratches and hisses. He has always done it graciously and in only the most professional way. His staff is always extremely pleasant and patient - if you’ve spent any time in a physician’s office lately youll know that this is quite rare. No matter how silly my question or who answers the phone, they always seem happy to help me or ask Dr. Hahn. Main Line Veterinary Hospital is THE BEST – period.

Dr. Hahn has been our family vet for year and we wouldnt think of changing. He and his staff have the perfect combination of practical experience, professionalism, education and personality. From our 14 lb. Havaneses to our 105 lb. Swiss Mountain Dog, Dr. Hahn and his staff take the time to get to know your pet and understand that they are an extension of your family. They take the time to research any issues you may have to g When our 14 year old Yellow lab took a turn for the worse the same week my mother was house-bound - two of the staff from Main Line came to our home to help us say goodbye to our family dog. I would definitely recommend Main Line Veterinary Hospital. The primary reason I would do this is Dr. Hahn who i have the utmost respect for. I have known him for over 15 years and i have taken all of my pets to him as well as my mothers dog. You can tell he really loves what he does and he is so good with the dogs as well as their owners. i have complete trust in him. i also have met with his partner Dr. lyons whom i would also recommend. they are two very special veterinary doctors and even though i have since moved to south jersey i travel all the way back to Malvern because no other vet will do for me. barbara greene

From our first visit,about 3 years ago,both Avatar, my male Tonkinese, and I have felt safe and cared for both in the waiting room and examining room. Proof of this is that he doesnt panic when we enter your office. Its clear to me that Dr. Hahn and his staff speak "cat language" both verbal and non verbal. All of my questions have been answered clearly and completely and the treatments, primarily check ups and teeth cleaning, have not left him traumatized. Im grateful to my friend,Erika,who recommended your practice.

Ridiculous pricing for basic services. Was quoted an absurd price for a surgery that was performed elsewhere for a significantly less ($4000 less)yes...thousand. Receptionist was rude on multiple occasions. Paid $400 for a neuter surgery...but my dog was not neutered! They said they couldnt do it due to a medical condition but still charged me for the surgery. They only brought my dog out to me after my credit card was swiped. Look elsewhere..this place is a rip off.

They have cared for our puppies and kittens, and with extraordinary compassion they have helped us manage through the painful experience of end of life care. They are caring, highly competent, and very well priced. We wouldnt trust the care of our animals to anyone but Main Line veterinary. Dr. Hahn and Dr. Lyons are wonderful. They are extremely competent, thorough, kind, and they genuinely care about animals. I’ve been going to MLVH for over three years; I’ve taken my four cats and two dogs to the practice. Dr. Lyons did an amazing job on my boxer’s ACL repair. The staff are all very nice. The practice is clean and has a pleasant appearance. I highly recommend.

I love this office! I had been looking for a vet and office staff as knowledgeable and friendly and professional as they were for a long time. They are super with our pets and their prices are VERY FAIR. I highly recommend them, and do quite often. A lot of our neighbors go to them as well.
