AMAZING!!! I used to take my dogs to a Vet location (VCA) and after they put my dog through an unnecessary surgery with out giving us any other options I decided to switch. (Our dog had a sebaceous cyst and we spent $1,000 and then was told by another vet we should have done a warm compress first to see if that would have made it subside by itself. I then asked the Vet at VCA about this and they back peddled and then told me that it could have worked, but that the surgery took care of it right away. It left me wondering, was the surgery better for the dog, or better for the vet since a warm compress twice a day is free. Our dog has since had two more and warm compresses have taken them away every time. That is a savings of $2,000 and my dog not having two more surgeries and having to wear a cone for 1 - 2 weeks each time.) Since I have switched to this vet, my dogs are not nearly as nervous, their prices are better, and the Vets who come in do nothing but love you dog, do only what is necessary and in the best interest of the dog. They also have gone over all options with me every time I have gone there. Ive had dogs all of my life and have gone to many, many different veterinarians, but this place easily tops them all. The staff are all friendly and like I said before, they do not push you on anything and then make you feel guilty when you ask questions.

They were treating my puppy for worms for 3 weeks, even though they didnt test his stool sample because "They didnt get around to it or something got missed" - Their words. Bring in the worm to them because after 3 weeks of being treated, he still had them. Thats not a worm thats a maggot" So my poor puppy has maggots inside of him for over 3 weeks and they say well that happens when you dont pick up the poop. I pick his poop up immediately after he drops it. They dont believe me and say"our next available appt is in 2 weeks" Unbelievable, these people are brushing off my dogs problem like its not a problem. Took him to Q town vet and they said they need to treat him right away because SOMEHOW he has maggots inside of him!!! I cannot believe Macungie Animal Hospital and how they treated us. Im unbelievably disappointed and disgusted.....

I have had dogs my entire life and this is, without a doubt, the best veterinary clinic I have ever come across. The staff are kind and helpful, the techs are knowledgeable and compassionate, and the vets treat my two dogs as if they were their own. Their prices are comparable to other practices in the region and they also do price matching. You can always get an appointment quickly and they dont double book, so the waiting room time is never long. The building itself is lovely and well-maintained. I highly recommend this place.

We have been using Macungie Animal Hospital for the last 8.5 years. Having been voted the Top Animal Hospital in the nation for 2013 should tell you volumes about the level of clinical expertise and care the entire staff at MAH provides to their patients and parents. But, the compassion and care they provide makes this practice even more exceptional. We love all of the vets and staff and they make us feel like family with each and every visit. Without a doubt the best veterinary practice in the Lehigh Valley!!

Dont go here they referred us to a hospital an hour away for emergency surgery for our beloved dog, saying it would cost 2000 dollars we drove all the way there for the surgery to be 8000-10000 dollars. Dont understand why a simple phone couldnt of been made finding out the exact cost. I am angered and very upset. My dog had to be put down. We could of done it closer to home but rather had to do it an hour away. Thanks for nothing macungie animal hospital.

I have had nothing but positive experiences. I frequent this facility every 6 weeks for my dogs chiropractic services. Dr. G is warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring. If it wasnt for her and the advice and homework she has given me my Oscar wouldnt be as far along as he is. The front desks staff is just as pleasant. I will be transferring ALL of my animals to this facility. Thank you macungie animal hospital for all your hard work and dedication.

We are not regular patients of this clinic but our dog had an emergency ear laceration that was bleeding like crazy. This was thanks to our other dog playing with her. Our vet is farther away but Dr. Soures took us in very quickly and was able to glue her ear together and tape it so that it would not continue opening up. It looks great now and she did not seem to mind the procedure despite how painful it must have been. I am very appreciative!

Our experience at Macungie Animal Hospital has almost always been excellent. With three dogs we are quite familiar with all of the vets and the staff and they are all compassionate and professionals. I also appreciate that the vets are open to a variety of treatment options: traditional, holistic, alternative, etc. I have also had several dogs go through their end of life and the staff is always understanding and empathetic.

The doctors and staff have always been compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable. I would recommend their services to anyone in the Lehigh Valley. Dr. Soares went out of her way to ensure that my dog received above and beyond good care and was comfortable there. Pricing was extremely reasonable, especially since Ive paid well over that for worse service at other clinics.

Very expensive for vet visits! Avoid! staff doesnt know what they are doing. My poor dog had to be put down an hour away due to their negligence.
