Called vet day before and made appointment. Nice tech helped me and she even checked with other staff if I could get shots for new kitten without the exam. She advised it was okay. Before appointment the next day I confirmed and verified the shots no exam. Same tech advised it would be okay. Appointment time and all the techs were okay with the shots but Veterinarian refused to allow shots no exam. I was not happy cause kitten now possibly exposed to multiple diseases and Doctor was quibbling over money. I think the Veterinarian is a greedy man and has good employees. Called other local vet and they saw me immediately charged me no emergency and got shots for less cost. Disrespected by this veterinarian will not visit his business again.

I cant come up with enough positive comments to describe my experiences with Town & Country. Dr. Peterson, Heather, and Teri are all awesome. They treat you with respect, get to know you and your pet on a personal level, provide awesome treatment - all at a very fair and reasonable prices. Dr. Peterson has a daft touch when it comes to communicating with pet owners and always tries to translate the medical speak into what I can understand. Dr. Peterson has also gone out of his way (more than once) to help with a couple of urgent situations. He even did a surgery after hours and met me on his day off to pick up my dog. These folks define "compassion and caring" when it comes to veterinary care. Highest recommendation!

I have been going to Town & Country Veterinary Hospital for over 20 years. My dogs have always received the best treatment. They have the greatest veterinarian anywhere, Dr. Peterson. I wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else. My dog loves to go there. He gets so excited to see his friends he doesnt even mind getting a shot or whatever. Everyone that works there are animal lovers, you can tell. Two of my dogs have passed away during those years and what I remember most was how compassionate and loving the people at Town & Country are. That really means a lot while we are going through those times. I would highly recommend Dr. Peterson and Town & Country Veterinarian Hospital.

Twelve years ago on a Saturday morning our dachshund Lucy, injured her back when jumping down from a bed. This caused her to be paralyzed in her hind legs. Dr. Gary Petersen and his staff spent their Saturday afternoon performing a delicate surgery that would eventually restore function back to Lucys legs. We are forever grateful for this act of service. We continue to take Lucy to see Dr. Gary. The staff are very kind and caring to us.We are impressed with Dr. Garys bedside manner and his clinical skills. Appointments are available within a reasonable time frame. We give this clinic a ***** 5 star rating. They are the best!

My name is Chuck and I have to say when it came to Dr. Peterson taking care of my best friend ever, Ceaser my chocolate lab Dr. Peterson took care of him from his birth on Sept 5th 2000 until he had to leave on Feb 10th 2011 Doc took him through allergies and at least 4 cancer surgeries.. In a nut shell I would have been lost with out the care he got from Gary and his Staff. Now they are taking really good care of my new friend and companion Bree one sweet Black Mouth Cur. Thanks Gary, and Katy and staff at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital, And Katy Thanks again for Ceasers paw print Sincerely Chuck

My dog has been seen at Town & Country for the past year and I recently had him fixed there and wanted to post about the positive experience. I debated between cheaper clinics and his vet, and am 100% satisfied with my decision. My dog was back to himself the following day, he didnt seem to realize anything had been done to him. Outside of the surgery, the entire staff has been helpful since day one. I have stopped in for quick questions and always leave feeling more informed. I am glad we chose this vet and I will continue to bring Bandit there.. thank you!

I took my dog here for her annual checkup and to get her vaccines done and Dr. Peterson is really great. Our little fur kid is very anxious and Dr. Peterson and his staff really took the time to get to know her and make her feel as comfortable as possible during her exam. They also were very honest about what she needed and didnt need since we came from a part of the country where concerns for your dogs health can be very different. If youre looking for a great vet I think Town and Country should be on your short list.

Excellent care and attention for you pets specific needs! My 16 year old dog had a spinal injury and due to his age Dr Peterson suggested a medication regimen instead of surgery...Lijah has fully recovered and runs around like a puppy! We were so lucky to find a vet that would consider his age and condition and take the least traumatic option first! I really recommend Town & Country and Dr Peterson and his staff!

We went to Dr. Peterson for a couple of things a number of years ago. When we got new dogs a couple of years ago, we decided it was time to change vets. And we remember how great Dr. Peterson was when we visited years ago. We are so happy that we are not going to him on a regular basis. He is willing to listen and talk with us. He always is willing to spend time and treats the dogs like his own.

I was referred to Town and Country Veterinary Hospital 2 years ago by a friend after having had some bad experiences with my previous veterinary clinic. Dr. Petersen and his staff have been great with my geriatric dogs who have needed a lot of care. I appreciate Dr. Petersens experience and practical knowledge as well as his willingness to work with us.

Dr. Peterson and his staff are so wonderful! Our dog is excited every time we take him here, and we know he is getting the best care around. Dr. Peterson is up to date on vet medicine and practices, and has done two surgeries on our dog with excellent results. Needless to say, we love Town and Country Vet, and are so lucky to have them in Salt Lake City.

The facilities are outdated, but you will be hard pressed to find people who love animals more than this team. They greet our pets by name when we come through the door. Im getting on in years, and have had pets my entire life, and I am confident that you will find no vet/surgeon more skilled than doctor Peterson.

The whole staff are fantastic and Dr. Peterson is a phenomenal vet, its obvious that they care a great deal about their furry patients and that theyre extremely good at it! In my experience their pricing is very reasonable as well, none of that pushy sales tactic nonsense. Cant recommend T&C enough!
