I am so very happy to have found Legacy Animal Hospital and Dr. Terry. My furbaby Beauty needed to be spayed and also had a large, marble sized stone in her bladder that needed to be removed. I had been taking her to a different Vet and had a horrible experience that I do not wish on anyone. She had been scheduled for surgery that was to take approximately 1 hour and after 4 hours I was called and told that the surgery was not done and that my pet had turned purple and stopped breathing during the administration of the anesthesia. When I picked up my pet, she was given to me totally lethargic and the Vet would not say anything except that she, the Vet, had not had a good day. I was not given instructions on how to take care of my pet that day and neither the Vet nor anyone from her staff called to check on her. I was terrified from that moment on to have the surgeries done on my pet. After 6 weeks I called the Vet and she stated that my pet had a small trachea and that was the reason for what had happened. A couple of months passed and I could tell that the stone was bothering my pet and knew she needed surgery. I follow several Animal Rescues on Facebook and I noticed that Dr Terry and his staff seemed to do surgeries on animals that were in bad shape and the animals did well at his hands. I decided that I had to call Legacy Animal Hospital and schedule an appointment. That same afternoon I called and explained my pets situation and my fear of her going under anesthesia. The lady who answered all my questions, scheduled me for the very next morning. This in itself was amazing because I usually had a week to week and half wait for an appointment at the other clinic. The next morning we met Dr. Terry and found him to be a chihuahua lover (he has 5), compassionate, knowledgeable and quick to put me at ease with the fear that I had for my pet. He understood my fears but made me understand that my pet was in pain and needed the surgery. He explained everything he would do thoroughly so I would understand. Oh,and my pet was examined in front of us, not taken to the back, where heaven knows what goes on. The day of surgery, another surprise, I did not just drop off my pet at the desk, we were actually put in a room to see Dr. Terry and again, once he explained how long the surgery would take and again, the assurances that my pet would be fine, it was Dr. Terry that took my pet from me. I received a call about one hour later advising me that my pet was going into surgery and that once done, I would receive a call from the doctor. About 1 1/2 hours later, Dr Terry was on the phone, giving me the great news that my pet was out of surgery and doing fine. He said they would monitor her and she would be able to go home on the same day and they would call me to pick her up. At 3pm that day, I received a call again, advising that my furbaby was doing great and she could go home. When we arrived, we were given meds and instructions for my pet. We again, got to see Dr. Terry who again, went over the surgery, showed us the stone that was removed from her bladder, and Thank God, we had spayed her just in time as there were already signs of possible pyometra. After instructions on when to bring her back for suture removal they brought my baby to me, she was alert and ready to go home. My pet did well that night and in the morning, Dr. Terry again called to check on her. It has been 2 days since her surgery and she is eating, drinking water, barking and growling at my other 2 pets, she is on her way to a full recovery!! Thank you Dr. Terry, staff and Legacy Animal Hospital for your professionalism, your caring and compassionate attitude towards my pet and for helping me get over my fear of surgery for my pet. I highly recommend that anyone reading this be assured that your pet will get the best care possible by caring professionals with Dr. Terry and his staff.

We have been going to the same vet for awhile now with our English Bulldog, however he had an issue that our vet couldnt do anything further about and referred us to a specialist. Well to be quite honest, the "specialist" was a joke and a complete waste of 300 dollars (and would have been a waste of 2000 if we would have done the testing that the simple xray would have shown) While sitting in the vet office of the specialist I called Legacy to see if they had the low level laser therapy. They did and I talked to the vet on the phone and he said they would make room for us to come in that day. Boy I am glad we did. We did our consult with Dr. Muratore and immediately we knew we were going to be changing vets. He was no-nonsense, realistic, and was not trying to press extras on us to pad his pocket. With our dog we have always been conservative. Instead of automatically electing for surgery anytime something goes wrong, we try to handle it without (bulldogs are not the best for anesthetic) His torn ACL has been zero problem and we did not do surgery. Just months of rehab and being down, and its been years. So when he said hold off on surgery and lets try the medicinal route and the laser treatment, we were gung ho. Of course if surgery was needed, that is what we would do. When the xrays from our original vet came in Dr. Muratore was very simple with his approach, and made me even more glad we did not do CT scans and such. Our dogs problem was non-operable, and so we would just have to see how it played out. And we have. Day by day. We started out with a dog who couldnt move. Couldnt walk. Had no use of his back legs to even shuffle his position in bed and who was in extreme pain (panting, crying, yelping, and panicked) to a dog that can walk on his own, lift his leg, and definitely get himself around. So, while not every situation is the same, we had fantastic results. We will be going to this clinic for the rest of our dogs life, and the life of the next one. I like not being fluffed with BS. I love the staff. Every single one has always been friendly (even when my dog who is old and grouchy is less than accommodating and delightful) and Anne always is so genuinely excited that our dogs condition has improved so much. I seriously love this place, their hours, their service, their honesty, and their staff.

Our 7 month old boxer puppy Phoebe was hit by a car around Thanksgiving when we were out of town at my Moms house. My four year old son and my Mom witnessed the whole thing. We rushed her to the doggie ER and they said she had a fractured femur and a hairline fracture in her pelvis. The costs they quoted us for the repair of the femur was so high we were thinking of putting her to sleep. I was devastated because the boys (I also have a 2 year old) would wonder why this happened...especially my 4 year old because in May of this year we put our 12 year old boxer Ali down and he was still missing her. I was crying in the waiting room contemplating what to do and a lady at the desk referred me to the Las Vegas Boxer Rescue where they referred us to Dr C. at Park Animal Hospital. They wanted us to get her there as quickly as possible to assess the broken leg and then he could advise us as what to do. When he saw Phoebe, he said he could do the surgery and that she would have about an 80% chance it would heal normally if the after care was done properly (keeping her confined, etc). We went ahead with it and Park AH offered to keep her for a few weeks after her surgery to ensure the best possible chance at recovery. She is now doing extremely well. She was home with us at Christmas. She is still needing to be confined, but she puts weight on it and clearly wants to run and play like she used to...but we manage to keep her from doing so until shes totally in the clear. She is allowed to go on one small walk a day and she is loving it. We are so thankful to have found Dr. C and their wonderful staff. We will take her to this vet forever.
