I have gone here multiple times, once for solely a health exam, and the other time, for a health exam and vaccinations. This was the worst clinic I have ever been to, because they are extremely over priced, and uncaring of your animal. I went in for vaccines and a health exam and it costed me $110! I can go to the Humane Society and get it done for $40 flat. Then at an actual vet hospital, a health exam is $40. The amount I paid was outrageous, and the service was bad. I told the Doctor my cat was randomly limping and having problems walking. The Doctor, who didnt care to introduce himself was old and mean, watched her walk around once (and she was normal), then concluded she is a healthy cat. He of course, checked her ears and temperature, but it was not thorough, and I was not satisfied. I asked about her paws, because she was a stray, and he looked at them and said they were cracked and inflamed, but should heal by themselves. I paid $109 for a doctor who didnt listen, or even care about my cat. Not to mention a spay for a cat here is $157, with the recommended pain killer for post-surgery. (cat is female) They say they do a blood panel exam, so that is why it was expensive compared to most places (Humane does spays for $50-$60). Another thing is, is I called back and talked to a lady and I told her that the Doctor didnt exam her well enough because her wobble and limp were random and I noticed it distinctly (again). She didnt offer any kind of help, instead told me that my cat probably got hurt since Sunday (when I took her in), and Tuesday (today). She also told me that the Doctor could do a X-ray which would be $230. I asked an actual vet hospital, and that would cost $93. The prices here are insane. Go if you have money to burn, and dont care about your animals actual well-being. I would much rather benefit a non-profit organization than this for-profit "clinic".

I received some devastating news about my 1 year old kitty today. While the situation is tragic and I am utterly heartbroken, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the staff here. They got me in for an appointment 2 hours after I called. They were prompt and gentle with him during the exam and thoroughly explained everything to me. When delivering the news that I would need to euthanize him in the next day or two, I broke down sobbing right in the exam room. The vet (I cant remember her name) was so kind and compassionate with me, offering me comfort, condolences, and tissues. They allowed me to stay in the exam room to make some calls and even sent the front desk worker in to collect my payment and deliver my receipt so I wouldnt have to stand out front with everyone in the lobby while broken in a million pieces. Before I left, several of the vet assistants came in to offer me condolences. You can tell they truly care about your little family members. Thank you for the care and support.

I took my dog here with an ear infection. They scheduled me same day, I walked in and was immediately helped, they escorted me into the exam room and within a very short time a vet tech came in to get my dogs temperature and an ear swab. This is literally the first vet where a vet tech helped before the veterinarian or at all. After the vet tech left Dr. Kim came in within a couple of minutes and was so friendly and helpful. I talked to her about some of my dogs symptoms and she offered advice without trying to up sell me. This was SO refreshing because Im used to city vets constantly trying to up sell and having outrageous prices. That was not the experience here. West Valley Vet Clinic was wonderful, helpful, and fast. Thank you so much for taking care of us!!

I love the Doctors. They are so Kind. I recently had to make an unscheduled visit (my cat was very sick and needed to be euthanized) Dr. Ingram seen me at the last minute and was very patient with me. She explained all my options and when the time came to say good bye to my beautiful Skuzzy Lynn She allowed me all the time I needed and explained the process. all though it was a very ruff day she made it easier for me. I left feeling like I made the right choice. I also have two dogs a lab and a Chihuahua. I take them there for their for shots and check ups. The best place to take your animals hands down. Love the Doctors and love Pat they all really care about animals and I will always take my babies there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC TO HAVE THEIR TEETH CLEANED! I was there on Saturday 1/13/12 to have the dog checked out for his normal exam. We (my elderly mother and myself) asked about having his teeth cleaned (our dog Tommy 3 years old). I spoke to the receptionist Pat and asked how much the teeth cleaning was, she said a basic cleaning was $79. My mother picked up the dog today and the cost was $350 (oh...they cut his nails for free). They said it could have been over $500!!! I have had dogs all my life and have NEVER had a teeth cleaning over $120. This is pure ROBBERY and to take advantage of a 78 year old lady is absolutely shameful.

Everyone at West Valley Veterinary Clinic always takes such good care of our four dogs. We love Dr. Kim, Dr. Tom, Dottie, Jan, and Pat---they are genuinely concerned about the well-being of each animal, and they all take each animals unique personality into account when they interact with it, making sure the animal is as comfortable and at-ease as possible. Two of our dogs have dealt with some medical problems in recent years, and WVVC always does what they can to find the most cost-efficient solution while also providing excellent care and solving the problem. Ill never go to another vet again!

We moved to SLC from a place where we were familiar with our vet for decades. West Valleys staff is incredibly talented...friendly, caring, down-to-earth, compassionate...absolutely lovely to work with. We have been treated like we are home! ..including the fair prices. They have gone above and beyond both times we visited to provide us with beneficial information and even accomodated our dog during a serious situation. The receptionist stayed after hours as well... They work from the heart & we are incredibly blessed to have a new veterinary clinic we trust. Highly recommended!!!!

ALWAYS EXCELLENT!! I have cats and the vets here are amazing with them. They always put my scaredy cats at ease as well as myself before they do what they need to do so it makes everything easier on all of us. My questions are always addressed and answered to my satisfaction and I can tell the vets care for my animals. This is the most important thing to me. If you want your animals treated with dignity and understanding when they are sick or just need their shots (which is also scary for them) I recommend West Valley Veterinary Clinic VERY HIGHLY!! :)
