The doctors who work there are great. Theyre all so friendly and will sit and explain absolutely anything to you until you feel comfortable. I honestly cannot stress how great the doctors are. Unfortunately, the way the office is run is terrible. It seems like they have more patients than they can handle. The folks at the front window will flat out ignore you (how hard is it to just look up and say "be with you in a second"?). Ive gone to appointments as early as an hour after they opened and still sat around for 45 minutes waiting for a doctor. They leave their "out of office" message on for at least a half hour after they open and after they come back from lunch. You cant get through to anyone, not even the prescription refill line which is just a voicemail where you leave your information, unless the "out of office" message is turned off. For the past six months theyve had a message that says "your wait time may be *longer than acceptable* due to the implementation of a new computer system". How long does it take to figure out a new system? God help you if youre having some kind of situation that requires some urgency. The office staff seems so annoyed any time they have to interact with anyone. They seem to take joy in telling you that your specific doctor is too busy for an appointment and youll have to wait days, sometimes weeks to see them. I once came in and stood at the window for at least a minute and a half before anyone acknowledged me. Finally the woman sitting at the desk directly in front of me opened the window. I told her I was there to pick up a script. She asked the last name and I told her. She looked at me confused and repeated half of my last name back to me. I said "no, my last name is (repeated last name). The first name is (first name)." She looked away at the person to her left and said "I cant understand her." So rude. It took me years to finally quit taking the bad with the good. Ive spent too many hours being passed around on hold, too much money on unnecessary office visits, and too much time making up hours of missed work because my appointment was scheduled hours before I was finally seen. The doctors are great, but until they get a new office manager who enforces the "dont be an a-hole just because you can be" mentality, I would recommend going somewhere else.

The doctors here are very good, I never feel rushed seeing them and they are very thorough. The staff however, perhaps due to overwork, is not very good. Recent story. Daughter needed her physical copied for a job interview. She had the physical in August 2014 My wife called, was told they could copy the information if we gave them the form. She was also told it would take 48 hours and cost $15 (no problem with either of those) I left work early on Monday to get the form the office before 5:00. Got to office and explained my needs. I told them I needed form by Wednesday night and was told they close at 5:00pm. I left work early to get their by 5:00pm. Made it on time. Was told that the form was not ready, and these things normally take a week. Lady told me she heard the other lady tell me 5:00 Wednesday, but that was wrong and she didnt bother to correct her while I was in office. I was upset and a representative from Einstein told me she would try to get it filled out since Dr. Hennessy was still in office. About 10 minutes later, she called me aside and told me we had a problem. Kellie did not have a physical is over two years, so they could not fill out the paperwork. I left, called Kellie and my wife, who both felt she had had physical. Eventually, after much searching, we found the original copy of the physical from, you guess it, Trappe family practice, done August 12, 2014 and signed by Dr. Hennessy. So one person tells me one date, another person tells me that she heard me being told that date, but didnt bother correcting or informing me it was wrong. Another person tells me that Kellie hadnt had a physical, but paperwork and insurance billing indicate otherwise. Very disappointing and somewhat scary....

Ive been going to Trappe Family Practice now for about 16 years. My absolute favorite doctor is Dr. Gina Rose. She is absolutely wonderful! Her bedside manner and her care and concern for me is what connected us. She absolutely listens to you 100% of the time and she remembers things about our previous conversations that assures me that she genuinely cares about me and my health. She is the one who was able to get my thyroid under control. She is very open minded and never hesitates if I have any concerns about my body to get blood work done, at any time. My thyroid has been misdiagnosed many times for mental health issues and she did her digging to find out what was really going on. It wasnt mental health issues, IT WAS MY THYROID!! The previous Doctor I was seeing didnt listen to me when I asked her to do more testing because I believe I had a thyroid disorder, because of all of my symptoms. Im glad I switched to Dr. Rose in the practice. She listened to me and was all for helping me and that to me is the best thing a doctor can do. I highly recommend Dr. Rose over any other doctor. I even like that Einstein has taken over and that she goes over to The Einstein center in Collegeville, in the shopping center with Wegmans. My daughter is 14 and eventually she will be out of Pediatrics and will hopefully be a patient of TFP, and Dr. Roses patient!! So glad that shes a part of your practice. Youre the best Dr. Rose!! ❤️

Hows this for POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ROZ WITTER? YOU ARE THE SUPPOSED OFFICE MANAGER AND DROPPED THE BALL ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. MY FIANCE CAME IN FOR AN OFFICE VISIT DUE TO AN ILLNESS. IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS BRONCHITIS AND SINUSITIS. SHE WAS TOLD THAT A MEDICATION WAS BEING CALLED IN TO CVS. UPON ARRIVING AT CVS HOURS AFTER HER APPOINTMENT, SHE WAS TOLD THAT THE MEDICATION NEEDED TO BE PRE-AUTHORIZED THROUGH HER INSURANCE. PHARMACY SAID THEY WOULD SEND THE REQUEST TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE TO PRE-AUTHORIZE IT. THE PHARMACY TOLD HER IT COULD TAKE 48-72 HOURS. 3 DAYS LATER (72 HOURS) SHE STILL HASNT HEARD ANYTHING. WENT BACK TO THE PHARMACY, WHO IN TURN SAID THEY HEARD NOTHING FROM THE DOCTORS OFFICE. A PHONE CALL TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE RESULTED IN BEING PLACED ON HOLD FOR OVER 30 MINUTES. WE WENT TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE REQUESTING THAT THEY EITHER PRE-AUTHORIZE THE PRESCRIPTION OR THEY MUST ISSUE A NEW PRESCRIPTION. WE WERE PROMISED A PHONE CALL BACK BY THE DOCTORS NURSE. NEEDLESS TO SAY NEVER GOT THAT PROMISED PHONE CALL...HERE WE ARE A WEEK LATER AND NO MEDICATION. THE DOCTORS OFFICE WAS CALLED BACK, YET AGAIN TODAY, ONLY TO BE TOLD A NEW SCRIPT WAS CALLED IN LAST FRIDAY...UPON ARRIVAL AT CVS, WE WERE TOLD THAT THE SCRIPT NEEDED TO BE PRE-AUTHORIZED AGAIN. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT-PATIENT SERVICE. STAY FAR AWAY FROM TRAPPE FAMILY PRACTICE IN COLLEGEVILLE.

This is THE WORST PLACE EVER. I LOVE Dr. Hennessy but unfortunately she is not worth the hassel and aggravation you will encounter EVERYTIME you need something from this place. You will be on hold for at least 30 mins everytime you call and your requests when calling will not be completely. most recent experience. I recently moved to FL. 3 WEEKS ago i requested my records to be sent to my new doctor. 3 weeks. Nothing. Sent another fax asking for them. Nothing. Have called about 5 times asking for them. They have no record of the new doctors office faxing them or the 5 voicemails I left. They are ignorant and could care less if you need these. I am prescribed to a postpartum antidepressant and adderall both extremely important for everyday life and I need my records in order to show I have been taking them so my new doctor can prescribe them to me. They dont care and take their grand time sending records. How hard is it to fax?!?!? This is just one of the many many many many MANY issues Ive had. Shame because Dr. Hennessy really was the best doctor I have ever dealt with. I am glad to be rid of Trappe Family Practice.
