I usually dont do these but my experience was so awful I wanted to warn others to avoid this place at all costs. I called and made an emergency appointment regarding a temporary filling that it falling out from a root canal that they had referred me to. My appointment was at 2 I left work early I didnt get seated until 2:45. A young who I assume is a student began taking multiple x-rays of various teeth. Ive been explained the certainty that was in pain and she had to go get some assistance to Take 5 more X-rays. Finally the main dentist came in without even looking inside my mouth instructed me to get these teeth extracted. I informed her that the two thing question was not even x-rayed she left again the student came back took more unreadable x-rays and started handing out advice of her own. Finally the dentist came back in glanced at my mouth and did not offer any kind of assistance but to go get the root canal done again. Couple days later my insurance informed me of all the x-rays submitted by Currituck Dental. I left there after two hours still in pain. I had heard were the mouth that they werent the best but decided to give it a shot since it was by my house.

Made a appointment over a month ago. A week before my appointment I called to makes sure it was for X-ray and and cleaning at that time I was told the doctor Im with wont be there and the they would move things around. I wasnt told that they would take me off the books and that I wouldnt have the same appointment time. So Thursday before my appointment they called and left a message on my phone that they will pencil me in at 11am. I called back and explain I need the time I had already at 1:30 that I had another appointment at 11 the thats not going to work. I explain to the office manager Debbie that I made the appointment a long time ago and I havent had a cleaning in 2 years and now that I have dental insurance I was very excited about my appointment. They could not work with my schedule and did many have anything else that Friday so I now have to find another general dentist that takes my insurance and can do a Friday on my day off. Not I happy person right now.
