Let me start by stating that although I have only just moved into the New Holland area a little over five years ago, my wife has been coming to Dr. Harkin (and her father) for her entire life. We now have two little boys and we decided to take them to Dr. Harkin for their first dental appointment. Upon arrival, the entire staff was amazing and full of smiles and warm welcomes. The experience was very enjoyable from start to finish. Even the boys had a good time, and Dr. Harkin was incredible with them. She put the boys at ease right away, even though they were a little anxious at first. Without me getting too personal, let me just say that the kindness Dr. Harkin showed to our entire family made the decision to switch to her as my new local dentist an easy one. Even more importantly, I am grateful to have such a wonderful dentist to care for our childrens teeth as they go through their developmental years.

Up early, dressed and breakfast is done. Kids are off to school with all they need for the cold day. Arriving at the dentist, I noticed five cars already in the parking lot....it was only 7: 57 AM. I enter to cheerful greetings. How do they do it ? I had to get up earlier than usual on this cold day for my 8 AM appointment (that I chose ). All went well and I returned to my apartment at the retirement village, a little numb....but thankful for those mothers who make up the wonderful staff. ..

So wonderful to see you lovely ladies again! Gini was excellent with Jackson who is 7 years old. She spoke to him on his level to educate him about his responsibility to care for his own teeth. Dr. Harkin is a joy, we are always excited to see her! Thank you Lynn for working with our schedule and yours! The office is beautiful, we love the new room remodel....Cindy you are fitting in well and we look forward to seeing you when we come in April for restorative work!

It has been years since I visited a dentist; yes I am one of those kind of person who has the dreaded fear of the dentist. But my experience at Smile Makers has been wonderful.
