My doctor directed me to Quest at this location because it was right around the corner and close to home. I have to admit, after reading the reviews here I was more than a little concerned it was going to be a terrible experience. But after reading reviews of the other Quest locations nearby that were really no better than the reviews here, I decided I would just bite the bullet and go get it over with. I cant speak to the experience of others, but after seriously dreading this visit, by the time I walked out I was completely dumbfounded by the bad reviews. What I experienced was exactly the opposite. The staff was friendly and efficient and extremely professional. Everyone I dealt with smiled and was extremely pleasant. I walked in with no appointment at 7:30 am and 8 people ahead of me. I was finished and out of there in less than 40 minutes. Maybe its a case of people who have good experiences not writing reviews and people who have bad experiences making it a point to write one, but after my experience incredibly exceeded my expectations, I felt compelled to write this. There were more people ahead of me at 7:30 in the morning than there are bad reviews written here, so I have to believe they have seen thousands and the good experiences outweigh the bad. Speaking only from my experience, I would absolutely recommend this Quest location to anyone. It was comfortable, pleasant and efficient. Its too bad that some have had bad experiences, but based on my experience today, I cant find anything wrong here. I will be happy to go back in the future if necessary.

I am getting through cancer and have recently had surgery and a lot of blood drawn in the past six weeks. My doctor directed me to go to Quest for another blood draw and I picked West Houston because it is close to my work and I have been to the professional building several times in the past with pleasant results. My visit to Quest today was horrifying. I dont expect anyone to pamper me or hold my hand, I just ask them to at least smile and be some level of friendly since they have chosen a job where they interact with people on a personal level. It was the most painful blood draw and bandage application I have ever had in my life not to mention the rude and uncaring personalities I experienced. There are a lot of Quest clinics in Houston and surrounding areas. Skip this one.

First, the bad: You cant call and speak to a live person over the phone here. I called to set an appointment for lab tests and scheduled it over their automated system. When I showed up, they said that I had no appointment in their system. I heard a lady in the waiting room complain of the same thing. Also, if you follow the prompts to speak to a live person over the phone it takes you to a disconnected line. You cant speak to anyone over the phone. The good: both times that Ive been here Im in and out within minutes. Walk-ins or appointments are welcome and my doctor received my results within 3 days.

UPDATE: So I ORIGINALLY did a great review. However, Quest is running a HUGE scam right now! They billed my insurance for tests over $2,000 that were NOT requested by my doctor. BEWARE and always check your bills before paying. Im glad this was caught before I gave those leeches any of my money! I had an appointment at 8:45. I was taken back right at my appointment time. The process was very easy, and the woman who took my blood was extremely nice! No issues for me! I am a happy customer!

They are unorganized and definitely not professional! It is not that hard to service people with appointments and walk-ins and keep up with who youve seen already. It was a circus in there for no good reason!!! Never gong back there!
