Second update: These people keep sending me a bill even though I have insurance. The first time I got a bill, they claimed there was a glitch in their computer system and I was told they would resubmit the claim. Now a month later they sent the bill to my husband. Do NOT go to this office! Update: After I originally posted this review, I got an email from someone named Chris who said that they had put the wrong insurance in the system. I received an updated treatment plan with the correct pricing. I appreciate that they corrected their mistake. but I dont think I will be back. *I specifically chose this office and drove from Winter Park because I thought they offer sedation dentistry. Please be aware that they do NOT. They apparently have not updated their website* I checked in at 3:35 for a 4:00 appointment. There were no patients waiting ahead of me. The assistant, Brittany, called me back at 4:15. I had to take 18 x-rays, then after a while the hygienist, Mahnaz, came and poked at my gums with a sharp instrument to check the pockets. She was very businesslike and somewhat cold. She did not seem to care that she was hurting me. My gums were bleeding, and I jumped out of the chair to rinse my mouth out when she was done. She said "it was nice meeting you" in a sarcastic tone as she walked away. Afterward, Brittany told me I would need maintenance cleanings every three months, even though my insurance would not cover them. I dont think an assistant should make that diagnosis! Dr. Jamasi finally came to see me at 5:15. She examined my mouth and said I had two cavities, and three fillings that need to be repaired. I have never been told that I need old fillings repaired. Brittany took me to a conference room to outline my "treatment plan". The "deep cleaning" would cost me over $400 out of pocket! My total cost with the fillings would be $560! Of course she pressured me to make an appointment immediately, but I declined. When I got home, I checked my insurance benefits, and discovered that the member out of pocket cost for these services was significantly lower than what was listed on my treatment plan! For example, scaling and root planing should cost me $14, not $75! Be vigilant and check all costs against your insurance before you consent to any treatment!!

This office is positively terrible at actually scheduling and then following through on an appointment. I had an initial intake appointment and then had to schedule a SECOND appointment for an actual cleaning (which didnt include the usual polish - that wouldve been ANOTHER appointment) but then when I went to schedule my next visit, they never returned the call. I mustve left at least 2 or 3 messages to no avail. I let it slide for a couple months and then tried again. This time I GOT an appointment, which they cancelled all of 1 hour before it was supposed to happen and couldnt re-book me for months. So when I FINALLY arrive for my appointment (which they actually had called me to move ahead an hour earlier , and then went ahead and did that without reaching me, so I had to wait 20 minutes as they "rescheduled" me), Im told that I need a deeper cleaning (gee, wonder if lack of cleanings could have contributed to that...) and that they cant do that today, Ill need, you guessed it ANOTHER appointment. For an exam. And then another. For the actual cleaning. Long story short, dont waste your time with these people. Go across the street to Colonial Drive Family Dentistry, they got me in IMMEDIATELY and actually did the exam, the cleaning and even the polish all in one appointment (like every other dentist Ive ever been to) and were extremely friendly and helpful to boot!

Stay Away. First I had to wait like a month in line for an appointment. Then, when it was my turn, they sat me in the chair an put up a show to impress me. At least three people come to examine my mouth and start mumbling codes that just the assistant taking notes understand. I went there for a cleaning only. I had no issues. But they found a couple. Afterwards they took me to a nice office to let me know that it will cost me only $8,500.00. But hey! They nicely offer you some ways to pay it in years to come. Theyre really nice at that. Just for the cleaning, $1360.00. The balance was to "repair" two fillings and many other stuff that Im sure I dont need to be done. Are they for real? I did my cleaning in another dentist for $200.00 and Im pretty happy with that.

This use to be one of the best dental groups in the area until Dr. David Stokes sold his practice to a corporation which only interest seem to be profits. I was routinely urge to but products from them or offered the higher priced dental procedure over a lest expensive one. The straw that broke the camels back was when they booked me for a cleaning in late December that my insurance wouldnt pay for. Had they scheduled it in the January; it would have been covered by the insurance, Dr. Stokes wouldnt have allowed this to happen. He now also have left the group with many other staffs. Im glad the name has finally change from West Orange Dental Group because they use to represent excellence in dental care and in professionalism.

Over the years I have seen a few dentist not always up to par. Advanced Dental maybe one of the best. Reasons: professional but fun, very caring and concerned about your dental health. What an awesome group of people that treat you as if you were the only patient there. Thanks Guys.

Since I am one who does not like the dentist what so ever. They made it feel warm and inviting, the whole staff was super nice! I had a lot of work done in a short amount of time and it was reasonably priced. I have found my new dentist office for future visits!!! Thanx girls = )

Had to switch Dentists after 42 years with previous because of medicare. I found the staff very pleasant and the Doctor was great. They explained all the procedures that needed to be done and all the expenses that went with them. I have a lot of major surgery, so we will see.

I scheduled my appointment 2 month in advance but they took me off the list because i didnt pick up the phone to confirm my appointment.I called back in 30 min after I received their call to confirm my appointment but I found out I was no longer scheduled.
