I visited this office because my gums were severely bleeding and I was in severe pain, I was took to the back room where they done an x-ray and asked me what I was there for when I inform them of the bleeding for 3 weeks and pain the only thing they wanted to know was what I was not happy with with my smile, I informed them I was happy with my smile but was not happy with the pain and the bleeding, the dentist said I had an infection and his nurse told me I would need antibiotics. The guy in the room got on a microphone and requested for a presentation in room 4, the lady did a presentation for a teeth cleaning and advise me my insurance was paying 550 dollars and I would be responsible for 178.00 dollars, Ive been told them I did not have that kind of cash and they said I could do the cleaning and quarters, after I told them once more I do not have the money and can not get it I was walked to the front to sign papers and was practically pushed into the parking lot with no prescription for antibiotics that the dentist said I needed. This place is a cosmetic marketing dentist because they want you to sign a waiver so they can use social sites to advertise with before and after pictures of your mouth

Oh My Gosh!!! I was on a family vacation in Orlando, Fl when I chipped a tooth while eating lunch. I needed a dentist ASAP; however, it was a Saturday so I knew it would be difficult to find one but luckily I was referred through 1800-Dentist to the office of Dr. Dorsey and he is the best dentist I have ever encountered!! He and his staff were amazing and efficient (and lets not forget...OPEN ON A SATURDAY!) He repaired my tooth and now he is the only dentist that I will ever see. I now fly into Orlando and drive to Ocoee for the day, just to see him. Another great thing about these lovely people at Colonial Drive Family Dentistry? Whenever I call to make an appointment, they are respectful of my schedule and know that I have a fly to catch so they make sure that I am always on schedule. I would recommend Dr. Dorsey to everyone I know that is looking for an amazing dentist. My daughter is now flying down with me and has just started her Invisalign journey. I cannot wait to see the end results but Dr. Dorsey never disappoints!!

I think the world of this Dentist and his team. I call them the Dorse Team. I have been going to Dr. Dorseys Colonial Drive Dentistry for years. Chani, Danny, Juan, Julia, Gianalee, JaMel, Wendi, Heather, Tati, Freddie, Damarys, Diana, etc. and Dr. Dorsey are not only professional in dental assisting, dental hygienist, customer service, and dentistry, but expert. they take time with each patient. I never have pain. Dr. Dorsey is as close as you get to the painless dentist. He always warns me when I might have pinch, pressure, hurt, pain, and then works his magic so theres no pain. His meditative breath coaching on the spot is great. Im 61, have done too much gum chewing, less sugar, and could have done better flossing, but I do feel Dr. Dorsey works at helping me afford what is required. I actually look forward to going to the dentist since finding Dr. Dorsey and his team. Dental work is too expensive everywhere. I have to say he was a good sport to go in the dunk tank for the fun of his team.

If you are rich this is the place for you. This place is all about the money,your money. I wish I could just find an honest dentist. When you walk in they are so over friendly that it almost seem fake. Well thats because it is. They are solely about the money. They have their earpieces in their ears communicating with each other trying to trap you into making a hasty decision. Man, I hate I let them run my credit. I was approved for a line of credit but when I looked at the application the girl asked for $20,000. I have insurance btw. Im not going back there so now I have to find another dentist. I am going to cancel this credit card/line of credit. They pressured me into getting. Ugh I feel so stupid. All I wanted was to experience an honest dentist. These people are worst than use car salesman.I gotta now figure out how to get this stupid credit line/card cancelled so it doesnt ruin my credit.

Colonial Drive Family Dentistry is THE BEST dentistry office around. The staff is phenomenal and exceed every expectation that I had for them. They were patient with my insurance, answered all my questions, and gave me the best dental care I have ever received. Dr. TJ Dorsey, DDS gave me the most comprehensive care I have ever received. He went above and beyond the expectation and gave me a through dental exam without rushing. He answered all my questions, paid attention to my specific needs and treated me like a person.......and not just a set of teeth. Dr. Dorsey was extremely kind, sweet and patient and made every effort to make sure my experience was pleasant. I recommend Dr. Dorsey to everyone and anyone looking to receive phenomenal dental care in a clean facility staffed with the kindest people around. Colonial Drive Family Dentistry is an A+ in my book any day of the week.

The people working at Colonial Drive Family Dentistry were very rude to me from the very start. The objective of the employees is not to help out the patients with their problems, but only to obtain as much money as possible. I was informed by Dr. Dorsey and his assistants that I had a total of EIGHT cavities in my mouth - very surprising for the healthy-eating sugar-free diet athlete that I am. After getting a second opinion from my previous dentist, I was informed that only one of these "cavities" was actually a cavity. Furthermore, he pushed to have other unnecessary procedures done to enhance my smile that I simply do not need or want. They just want your money. I would not recommend visiting this dentist, unless you feel like donating unnecessary money to their practice.

I would NEVER recommend this "dentist" office to anyone. They tried to sell me everything except what I came there to accomplish. I simply needed a tooth extraction, which was a ludicrous price. After having X-rays taken, they started taking pictures of my face, not simply my jaw. I asked why they had to do that, and they said it was to show me where I should get BOTOX (mind you, Im barely over 18). Then, Dr. Dorsey asked me if theres anything Id like to change about my smile. After I said "not at this time," he proceeded to say in a very rude manner, that I should definitely think about straightening my teeth. These people are simply trying to market their expensive cosmetic procedures. Do not be fooled.

3 reasons Colonial Drive Family Dentistry gets a 5 stars. #3 - courteous front office personnel; Always professional. #2 - The care provided Dental Hygienists is always straight forward, efficient and truthful. #1 -The Doctor reports on what is there and provide professional recommendation based on those facts. Its that simple. Visiting the dentist office can be uncomfortable depending on the treatment that is required, but the team at Colonial Drive Family Dentistry works in unison to provide a comfortable experience for all.
