Dr. Lenz is the old-fashioned type of family practice doctor, who actually talks to you like you are a real person. He is reassuring, nonjudgemental, and easy-going.He takes time to answer questions and to listen to questions and concerns. If you want further tests, or a second opinion, or to try a different medication, he is happy to arrange that. If your question exceeds his personal knowledge, he will also say that. With him and his assistant, I always feel seen and listened to, as a person and a patient (so rare these days!) And I trust his experience and competence. His office operates on a first-come first-served basis so that makes it easy to get in --just stop by and wait a bit. I especially love that once there was a little boy (I think the son or grandson of one of the front office staff) scooting around the office in his little flying-saucer walker. No cold corporate feeling here! My only minor complaints are that the facilities are not new and shiny, and sometimes the front office staff has a slightly brusque manner. But hey, feels like a real place with real people!

Dr. Lenz and the entire staff are awesome! They have been taking care of my family and myself for over 20 years, I would never think of going anywhere else! He is down to earth, tells it like it is, and gives honest straightforward answers. I love the fact that you do not need an appointment 3 weeks in advance, just walk in and you will see him, no appointment needed! You are not just a patient at his office, he gets to know you treats you like a friend. His office staff is great too, so do not mistake their working hard and being busy as being unfriendly, that is just not the case. They work hard to keep everything moving smoothly so everyone can see Doc as quickly as possible... If anything, you can thank all the rules and regulations for making more work than is needed in any Drs office. I hope he never retires, I hate the thought of ever having to go to some other family doctor!

Dr Lenz is the best in the business. He’s old school. He takes care of his patients. He’s open. He’s honest. He’ll give you the answer you need to hear, not the answer you want to hear. He’ll get you the treatment you need. I’d trust him with my life which is what everyone should be able to say about their doctor. One comment I saw on here was the unfriendly staff. It’s simple miscommunication. Their office has 30+ year’s operating under the old paper system. The new healthcare rules are very obtrusive. When she is a little grumbly on your first visit, it honestly isn’t directed toward you. It is directed toward the new healthcare electronic system and the 20 hoops she has to jump through to get you in to see the doctor. She really is a sweet lady. Just cut her some slack for that first 5 minutes when she has to get you into the system. She hates that system…

We like the doctor a lot, but not his office staff. Theyre usually very rude when we come in, and when we had a billing problem, they wouldnt get off their lazy butts and fix it. We called for six months trying to get it fixed and finally had to pay the bill ourselves that should have been covered by insurance, if only theyd bothered fixing the billing code. So, were switching doctors. I wouldnt recommend going there because they wont lift a finger to help you if you need it.

Dr. Lenz is an excellent doctor, who cares, who is practical, good humored and hard working! Dr. Lenz is BRILLIANT! His staff is just as caring, hard working and amazing! The head receptionist has dry humor and is actually hysterically witty. She skillfully complies with the government bureaucracy, but speaks the truth regarding the situation private doctors and the rest of us are in due to the ever changing, but not for the better, laws.

Best doctor Ive ever been to. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his field. Its a shame that his staff isnt as well reviewed (although I had a pleasant experience) since it could lead people to look for a doctor elsewhere. If my family lived in the area I would have them all go to Dr. Lenz.

I couldnt believe it when I walked up to the counter and was told to move aside while the receptionist played with a baby and then proceeded to talk about how great President Trump will be. Dr Lenz is a solid doctor though. Like a couple other reviews, the doc is good and the receptionist terrible.
