dont allow them to use my chart with you. First off its unprofessional, secondly you become an electronic document, not a patient. Metaphorically, its easy to abuse a homework assignment- on the other hand you cannot tell someone you will call them in a week, and not expect 100% of concerned individuals to at the point of not receiving a call, do ones job for them and follow up as a patient...... This comes from my wife having a screening done, and the doctor making a note to follow up 9 weeks later on a test that produces results in one week. The only reason the doctor called was because she put a note in my wifes my chart to see if she had already been screened for cancer. They never put information on her my chart and didnt call her with test results for 9 weeks when the subject matter is cancer. Well done!

Theyll see, you promptly but the north memorial system is very siloed and hard to deal with. If you ever have an insurance claim they are tough to work with, but I imagine that is all healthcare.
