Took my son to an appointment, the dr. recommended a surgery which required putting a newborn baby under. After speaking with ny pediatrician it was a bad recommendation and I cancelled the future scheduled surgery. I received a large bill and was told my insurance did not cover it. I disputing the charge as I did not feel comfortable with their office giving care to my son and they were not willing to work with me. They then told me they did not even have my insurance on file. I sent my insurance to them and I received a lettee the day after Thabksgiving that the account was going to collectiobs for non payment. I called the office the following Monday and was told they did not receive my insurance. I gave it to her over the phone and she told me my account was in collections but she would pull it back from collections, I asked if I would be notified if I still owed after she received my insurance. She said I would be mailed an invoice if I still owed. I received nothing in the mail and assumed it was taken care of. Yesterday, I received an email that at the time of service my son was not covered by insurance. This is impossible because the policy start date is the day my son was born. They then told me the amount was higher, I asked for a copy of the invoice and am still waiting for it to come through. Today, a collection agency contacted me about the debt for an amount that does not match any invoices. Very displeased with my whole experience. Not to mention when I showed up to my appointment with a 5 day old baby the front desk lady was very rude about not having an insurance card for my son yet and made me call my insurance company to verify.

I have had a snius infection for well over a month, brought on due to allergies, and this office computer continues to tell me its not an infection, and when I call to mention upper right teeth pain, I was told to call a neurologist. They did a Turbinoplasty procedure two weeks ago (while I was still sick, but I said I was there and so was my driver, so I was getting it done because Id been there twice in two weeks telling them I was sick) According to my insurance company, this office never asked my insurance for a pre authorization for a balloon sinuplasty procedure, but this office told me they have. Now I get called saying at the end of the month they will no longer take my insurance! What kind of office are they not running?! Sadly I have to go back for a recheck on the Turbinoplasty procedure. After everything this office has started, I am left high and dry without an ENT or Allergist.

I have been seen in this office several times, and have had a positive experience at each visit. Staff is professional, some more friendly than others but you find that at every office and in every profession. Relatively easy to make an appointment, and I appreciate the overall environment of making any procedure necessary as comfortable as possible. Im impressed with the knowledge of the physician and his staff, and that several of the staff have worked there for several years. I would have given it 5 stars except that it is a little difficult to find, and the parking lot is packed early in the morning making it hard to find a place to park, but those things are minor when compared to the overall excellence Ive experienced here.

This place is a joke. Provided baseline care at best. Ridiculous costs for services. Still having issues 8 months later after two appointments. Also can confirm the bait and switch tactic. Worked with them prior to my appointments on insurance coverage and was told my insurance did cover their services and I would just pay a co-pay. Not the case at all. Was sent a huge bill, insurance did not cover. While I was working with insurance company to see what was going on, they sent me to collections 4 weeks after being billed. Completely unprofessional, incompetent people, and over-inflated prices beyond what a typical medical care facility over-inflates. Any other ENT in the Des Moines area is a better choice.

Bate and switch on pricing. Was told one price but then it came to the bill, it was twice as high and blamed me for not listening. Make sure you get co-payments and costs upfront. Too bad the billing department was as good as the Dr.
