Especially if it is a cute one...I went there with my puppy who was having serious issues..They took her into the back and I waited in the lobby for nearly an hour, then the vet called for me. I went into a room where they gave me my puppy in a baby blanket and gave me two options, leave and let her die or sign my rights away to one of their opportunistic staff members. I was not in my right frame of mind. They didnt give me the straight facts about her condition, of which I think they were fully aware of what was wrong and instead danced around it. She had a sugar problem. She threw up the night before and and drank a lot of water. When I woke up, she was lethargic. She started having seizures. I called a different vet right away and she said to start giving her honey or syrup. I gave her honey on her gums every 15 minutes for 2 hours (no car) until I could get her to the nearest vet, paddock place. They apparently gave her a shot of sugar right away when she got there and an hour later it was at 81. The vet told me that her sugar was fine so it wasnt the reason for the seizures, through my tears, I believed her. However, I later found out that normal was between 80 and 120 and after 2 hours of sugar applications by me and a sugar shot from the vet she was at 81which is one the low end of normal, so it COULD be sugar if it had just reached 81) The vet said that the dog will probably die but if I want to try save her it would cost me 400 dollars before they could even see what was wrong with her...on the paper work it even listed "hospital stay" (which I would later find out that the vet tech brought her home that night and she made a miraculous recovery), I dont even remember the rest of the paper because I was shocked, crying, and distraught. They lied to me. While I was crying and holding my sick puppy in my arms, they sent a lady in with a form saying that I will give her my dog and then theyll work on her. Confused, and torn between my desire to keep the dog that was born right next to me while I slept on my bed and my want for her to live I signed the paper. I feel like they emotionally blackmailed me by using my love for the puppy and not giving me the true facts. I would like to know what that tech did at home that I could not have done? it have been 20 days now and I cant get this out of my head. I am depressed and anguished over the loss (theft) of my dog and the way they treated me. Theyre LIARS.

I tried to send this via e-mail in response to your "Thank you" notice. However, I was unsuccessful. Dont thank me because TRUST is GONE! I will never bring a single one of my kids to your establishment. The last visit was seriously a grave disappointment in service. You name Rocky but Brave was there too. I didnt even get a bill with their names on it, just an ID numer and "multi-pet". Not to mention care they received left much to be desired. Before I took my babies in I called. I said I have $100 Will yall work with me to evaluate and treat? (If it wasnt enough then you should have been honest with me.) Dana was going to talk to Jason and get back to me, NOBODY called me. I had to call back 6 hours later. I was told "yes thats fine, Jason will work with you". Instead I was told my kids were perfectly healthy ... WRONG! I know every single one of my fur-kids intimately. I knew something was wrong. NOBODY would listen. To appease me we were pawned off on human medication. That liquid was disgusting and it has a nasty odor. I could not administer it, they wouldnt take it. They were gagging and bucking. Well, that night after I left your office Braves nose started discharging and she sprayed when she sneezed. I had to beg around to friends for a lone to have Brave properly evaluated and treated right. My baby girl Brave suffered 2 days before I could get her to another vet. If I would have listen to Jason when he said "perfectly healthy" my Brave wouldve become much worse. I couldve lost her. Grace be to God that my instinct is on point. I trust my knowledge of my babies more than I trust anyone. I am their protector, their voice ... I am their mama. Ill be damned before theyll ever be hurt. I would give my blood, sweat, and tears to protect them. I was just coming off disability and back to work when this happened. I had been going to your office for well over a year and I never asked for yall to work with me. This ending our relationship in a major way. We have a good vet who treated my kids right. He pet Brave and spoke softly to her. He did everything he could to make her feel comfortable. NOBODY at Paddock ever pet one of my kids. Yall just did what needed to be done, for the most part. I dont want anymore e-mails from you, none at all. Yall lost a good sized account. Sincerely, Rose Ring & Fur-Family

After bring home a new puppy we decided to go to Paddock Park Animal Center after reviewing local vets and there pricing even though they had the highest exam rate (49$) because they waved the initial visit for new patients. We ended up setting up a appointment to have our girl spayed and used a coupon from the Humane Society for $75 to save some money, but by going through Paddock Park we did all but save in the long run. I was told to bring my dog in at 10am for the procedure and that I would be called when she was out of surgery to make sure everything went well. After 5pm rolled around we took it upon our self to call and check, when we did we were told that she had just got out about 30 minutes prior and everything was fine. I scheduled to pick her up at 10 am the next morning. The staff returned our dog in a rushed manner and didn’t take any time to discuss any precautions or what to expect post surgery nor did she have a cone, I ended up putting her in a T-shirt to keep here from licking her stitches. The next morning it became apparent that our little girl had a UTI and a bloody discharge. Being very concerned I called and was told they would check with the vet and call me right back. After waiting 3 hours for the phone call we finally just took her in and they conformed she had a UTI but they really couldn’t explain the bleeding and charged us $55 for medication for the UTI that she received under their care. After about a week we returned to have the sutures removed and everything seemed fine until a week or so later when swelling and redness appeared in that area. Now after giving up on Paddock Park and going to another vet to find out they left sutures and some kind of glue in her we are paying another $200 to have her go through another surgery to fix this. In the long run our girl had to deal with unnecessary pain on top of us spending a total of $375 on extra surgery and pain medication. I’m not usually incline to write negative reviews but I love my pup and would hate to see anyone else have there’s go through so many complications and pain on top of a staff that didn’t seem to care much about our concerns or get back with us in a timely manner when we were so worried.
