We took our 7 pound dachshund here after he licked/consumed a piece of bufo toad. He was seizing and completely unresponsive. The staff was incredibly nice and took EXCELLENT care of Jake. They even told us both to call as many times as we wanted. By the next morning when we picked him up, he was 100% alert with no brain damage whatsoever. If we ever have any incidents with any of our other pets, this is the first place we will go. It is also the first place we recommend to anyone. On another note, they are certainly an honest group of people because when the veterinarian called us in the morning to let us know we could pick him up and update us, he also informed us of changes to our bill. The veterinarian made sure that the changes were made to actually reduce our bill since Jake wasnt there for a full 24 hours. That showed me everything I needed to know about the characters of the people at this office. Knowing that people would most likely not check the second bill, but still changing it appropriately to reduce the cost is a perfect example of this office as a whole. We owe it to Florida Veterinary Referral Center for Jake being alive today, and we will forever be grateful for that.

I LOVE FVRC! I took my Schnauzer and my little Pomeranian because they eat a bottle of Rimadyl that my older dog takes. They stayed there for 3 days. The doctors and the staff were wonderful. They constantly called me to give me progress of both dogs, gave me information about what they were doing to them, and gave me information about bill. They were aware that I did not have all the money to pay, at the end, I gave some money down and they gave me a payment plan for the rest of the bill. In comparison with other emergency clinics that I called, they did not ask for any money at from. They were places that were asking me for $500 or $600 at from. I drove almost 2 hours to get to this clinic and I did not regret it!!! The best for my babies!!!! I will recommend FVRC to anybody.

Paws down, this is absolutely the best care in the tri-county area you could find. FLVRC staff are compassionate, professional and of top-notch competency. Our Golden Retriever was seen by Dr. Sarah Kraiza and her wonderful oncology nurse Miss Terri who gave her one full year of excellent health and happiness following removal of a malignant tumor. All the staff here have always been very compassionate and courteous. Their facilities are inviting, super clean and you and your furiends will always be treated as valued clients. Having relocated to the area and after multiple unsatisfactory experiences with other vet hospitals ranging from incompetent to nasty to filthy, we truly were blessed to find such a wonderful practice that is worth driving 45 mins. to get to. ~Sunny

Weve used this facility a few times including treating a cancer-stricken pet, surgery for another pet to remove cancer we caught at stage 1, once to put down a pet, and just today to have one of our Labradors checked out due to worrisome recent events. I must say that this is a facility that you will be glad you found because the folks that work there - all of them from reception to the doctors and everyone in between, are caring and enthusiastic, professional, and pleasant. The care is prompt, efficient, and based on my years of experiences - seemingly spot on. If you have an urgent need look no further as this is the place for your beloved pet to get the care you desire. I told the doc today that if I get sick, I want to come there!

We brought our dog here for an emergency abdominal ultrasound. They were extremely accommodating, understanding and courteous. The visit with this vet was great from walking in to leaving. The entire staff genuinely cares!! Well over 2 hours were spent with technicians and doctor and all questions were answered. Unfortunately the ultrasound found that our dog had no hope and she was extremely peacefully and carefully put to her final rest at this same establishment a little more than a day later. I have nothing but good to say about this clinic and its staff and will visit with future pets. Kudos and thank you for making Kiwis last moments on earth the way you did!

All of the staff and Dr. Riordan were absolutely exceptional. This was our second dog treated here and thankfully they were able to pull both dogs through, but even had the outcome been different, it wouldnt negate the positive experience. Expensive? Yes. But I cant even imagine what this treatment would have cost for a human in a critical care unit for 4 days with multiple blood transfusions! One of the staff even gave up some of her chicken sandwich to entice our Sierra to eat. We feel blessed to have this facility in our area. Stella, Sierra and the Vidussi family thank you all!

Schuysters! went there to get my cat checked. doctor said she needed a full blood panel, which I agreed to. a day after blood work was done, they called back and wanted an extra $100 for " further extensive testing". I guess the doctor forgot to mention that. nickel and dime place. theyll take advantage of you at every opportunity. disgraceful. this is a negative 5 star rating. or if Im rating on a scale of 0-100 its a 0! buyer beware! find a place that cares about your pets not your wallets like Florida veterinary referral clinic. stay away!

I have been going to this veterinary clinic for over two years now. My pet was diagnosed with cancer and DR. Kraits is the best in town. She is very thorough, understanding and knowledgeable. I am blessed to have found her. Hands down, they have some AWESOME staff members here.Dustin is always wearing a smile and is very helpful (no matter how busy he is). I cant remember the other staffs names but 98% of them are always bring their A game.They are expensive but do a good job. I would recommend this clinic to a friend.

Jake got sick on my yearly trip to Fort Myers. I didnt get a chance to call around because it was an emergency. I was very lucky that the emergency hospital treated him well and did not charge me too much money. I worry about him because he is getting older. They took good care of him, and he is new again.

wonderful staff from reception to the great care we received from all the vets involved in helping our very sick kitten. Our first trip to another emergency clinic was a terrible experience, and when Kato needed further attention we decided to try FVRC and wished we had gone there the first time. Great care.

Jessica saved my grand kittys life. Found a low cost place for Carl to get surgery and he had it today at 2pm and did fantastic!!! Thank you all for looking at Carl seeing he ate something weird then referring him to a affordable surgeon. We get to enjoy 2 year old Carl for many more years! Thank you all!!!!
