This place is undoubtably a scam. STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE VSP. multiple times I was assured my VSP insurance was in network, long story short, they arent. He pulled up my coverage and since I wasnt in network lied about the actual frame allowance, told me it was 130, which in my years of having the same insurance its always been 170 with a $10 lens copay, he told me my insurance doesnt cover lenses. Then after I was quoted 250 for an off brand frame and no upgraded lenses I ended up walking out thinking whats the point of having insurance if Im still breaking the bank. I called VSP and filed a complaint because on the screen they marked up the glasses to 450, saying "this is what the frames retail for" which made no sense, why have a tag if they bill insurance triple what the tag reads? Im a 21 year old college student. I felt as if he saw an opportunity to cheat me and tried to take advantage of it. They also placed a hold on my benefits after I walked out, which was quickly released after I called asking about my policy and complaining about this location. Would not recommend. They do not know what they are talking about. You are not getting a good deal.

Be very careful with this store, in particular David, the manager, he will try not to work with your insurance and charge you directly lying that its better that way. In my case i payed out of pocket for a hi res, transitions and they gave a thicker polycarbonate lenses, on asking why they say my prescription is higher, so they cant do it on hi res lenses, when i showed my old glass of same prescription they said it has to be HD,and changed the lenses, but removed the transitions, for which i have already paid, when asked why he initially lied that i have not asked for, when showed the receipts he said i have to pay more, when argued that i have already paid, he changed his words and said that they dont make transitions in HD lenses, and can make only in polycarbonate, what this guy is trying to do is to make me pay more for the mistake they did, instead of accepting the fault. I walked out without any change, i know i was cheated, but its worthless to waste time with lairs. So be careful with David, the lair.

We have used Vision works many times and I havent had any problems with Insurance (or) Without insurance. I enjoy going in there they are always very polite and very helpful. I took my sister in law there and she got two pairs of glasses and I thought personally it was a little high but I wasnt paying attention to prices or what she added or not. I know she got Transitions. However, I still say they are a fairly decent on prices compared to other places such as Lens crafters on frames. I didnt give a full 5 star because , obviously they arent perfect they do make errors they are human however, I feel the 4 stars is better then 1-2

The employees are kind of rude and snobby. Just a heads up, go in knowing this, so your not disappointed. Also, they do not like you asking questions, they expect you to know everything before you come in
