I had set up an appointment with Dr. Sturm for my wife a few months before my next eye exam was due. My wife really liked him, so I scheduled my eye exam with him as well. As an individual, Dr. Sturm is a great guy, but I don’t have much respect for what followed my exam. I had three pairs of glasses ordered after the exam (my regular seeing glasses, sunglasses, and a pair of computer glasses), but to be safe, I only ordered the lens for my regular glasses first to make sure the new prescription was correct. When they arrived about 8 days later, the prescription was not acceptable. After another exam the prescriptions being redone, for some reason I assumed the prescription would be acceptable this time so I had all three pair done. When I received them about 10 days later the prescriptions for my eyeglasses and computer glasses were reversed. I could see just fine with was the computer glasses lens, but they were in the wrong frames, and the sunglasses and regular eyeglasses were still wrong. The guy who helped me in the Vision Center told me that he didn’t feel that there was anything else they could do for me, and that I should just put the old prescription into the new frames and move on. I was so insulted. This time it took almost two weeks to get my glasses back. I at least thought because it was their mistake they would have rushed the order. That being the case, I also expected that they would refund my money for the prescriptions on the two that didn’t work, but that didn’t happen, so I ended up with the same prescription I came in with, in new frames. Obviously, with no recourse at that point, I moved on and had to go to another optometrist and start over. I would have even have settled for a partial refund. I have been wearing glasses for over 25 years, and I have never had such an incident like this. Very unfortunate, expensive, situation and very disappointing

I usually despise going to the eye doctor, and put off the appointment as long as possible. When the time came that I had no choice but to see the eye doctor i scheduled an appointment at Dr. Sturms office. The receptionist was delightful on the phone. I was surprised at how soon I was able to get an appointment with the doctor. At my appointment the facility looked brand new, clean, and welcoming. My wait was under five minutes. The exam was expensive, fully covering everything that goes into a good eye exam. Though it was extensive, Dr. Sturm being so knowledgeable about his field of medicine and competent with all his equipment had my exam completed in a timely manor. The doctors demeanor and ability to communicate the the patient was unparalleled. Dr. Sturm was able to figure out that my prior eye doctor where giving me too strong of a prescription. With the prescription change I literally was able to see the best that I can ever remember. Dr. Sturm gave me two pairs of contacts with the correct prescription for free to hold me over till my new ones that he ordered for me came in. Along with the contacts I also received free contact rinse. I have to say that this was one the smoothest and enjoyable doctors visits I have ever had. I now have all my friends seeing Dr. Sturm and I fully recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor, or an improvement from their current practitioner.

I really had a great experience when I went in to have an eye exam with Dr. Strum. I have some major issues with one of my eyes and when I explained why and what happened to cause these issues Dr. Strum took the time to listen to what I really had to say and than was very helpful in helping with getting an eye subscription that has really helped with see much better with my new glasses. I havent had this much clear vision in that eye in a very long time. Also the office staff was very nice and when they had to really find out who my vision insurance was though, they didnt hesitate to call the right people to find out. I would tell anyone that needed an eye exam for them to call the Georgetown Vision Center in Georgetown, TX in the Wolf Ranch Shopping Center to go there anytime. Thank you GVC for all your help and for making me feel I was a person and not just another $ sign walking through your doors.

My 5 year old failed his eye exam at his pediatrician during his normal well check. When I called to inquire about a pediatric exam, I was totally unaware at the time that I was speaking with Dr. Sturm himself! He was more than helpful and I told my husband I would drive further to go to his office just because of how friendly the staff was! Little did I know, that was only the beginning! We had a wonderful experience (how often can you say that with a 5 year old!) Dr. Sturm went out of his way to make sure we got the very best, and even scheduled a followup to check and see how my sons new glasses are working out! I will start using this office for myself and the rest of my family!

I have been to many eye drs over the last 15 years and I believe I have no reason to go anywhere else now that I have found this one. I have to say, I find the Dr and the reception staff very polite and helpful. Ive never had to wait long, my prescription has always been perfect, and any issues Ive ever had with the glasses provided, have been resolved without fuss or resistance. I recommend this practice to everyone and I belive several of my family members and friends now use it. Thank you for your professional and courteous service. Im sure that should either of the reception staff be on their phones when I next go in, a simple excuse me would do the trick :0) See you soon!

My daughter has been begging to go in for an eye exam for a long time. She is one to "cry wolf" often so I delayed scheduling an appointment. I am a GET IT DONE NOW type of person and wanted to call in and be seen on the same day. When I called Georgetown Vision Center I was very surprised at the affordable rate offered with NO INSURANCE. I was able to get in same day. The staff was very polite and helpful. Dr. Sturm was very easy going and helped get my daughter set up with the appropriate prescription for her vision. We will be back when she is ready to get fitted for her contacts. I have already referred others in their direction!

I am new to Georgetown, TX and needed an eye exam. I was on my last pair of contact lenses and already stretched them long enough. Dr. Mark Sturm was my doctor. He was able to get me in right away. The exam was quick, efficient, and very informative. My Rx was right on and the contacts were great. He definetely took the time to explain everything to me and I felt I wasnt rushed like most places. I ask a lot of silly questions, so I appreciate the time and patients he had to answer them. I would recommend Dr. Mark Sturm and Georgetown Vision Center, and will be back with the rest of the family!
