I agree with Tylers comment. I had to go back 3 times just for a contact len examination. First time, they never told me I have to wear my trial contact lens for my appointment. They insisted they did tell me. Okay, fine!!! Second time, Dr Hughes left early because she had an emergency. The receptionist never called me to reschedule the appointment. When I showed up, the assistant looked at me like I had no appointment at all. She asked me to show her my appointment card. Luckily, I had it with me. If not I will be a big liar. The assistant said she could do the eye exam. I refused. I was not comfortable to let an assistant to check on my eyes. I was there for a Doctor, not an assistant. It took me 2 months from the 1st day of visit to the last day I received my contact lens. I went there for a first time and will be the last time....

Ive been a patient of Dr. Hughes (Ideal Eyecare) for a few years, and I have full confidence that she has my best interest as her priority. Dr. Hughes and her staff are always friendly and eager to answer any questions or help resolve any problem. Some health care providers seem to just go through the motions but lack any sincere connection to their patients and I have never found this to be the case with Dr. Hughes or her staff. Anyone looking for an eyecare specialist should give Ideal Eyecare a try.

I have been using Ideal Eyecare in Norman for 5 years. They are the most professional group of people I have encountered since having to wear eye glasses. I have received 3 pair of glasses and 4 sets of Contacts and I have not had any problems. Dr. Hughs is very knowledgeable and professional and would recommend her and her staff to anyone needing eye care. I would rate them a 10 on a scale 1-10 ...................

This place is horrible. I have been to them 3 times for just one issue and an eye exam and they wanted me to come back for a 4th (maybe even more). The nurses and doctors talk down to you like you are some kind of child instead of an adult. I will never go back to them.

The reception staff was genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Dr. Hughes was very nice, she clearly explained everything and was very patient. It was a very pleasant experience overall, and I will definitely be coming back in the future.
