These guys are terrible!!!!!! They are only in this business for the money and NOT for the animals. I understand that this a business and they have spent a great deal of time and money on their education. My 17 y/o daughter took our dogs there and told it was going to cost $1700.00 to take the quills out of the dogs and that she had to pay them before they would even look at the dogs. She then explain that we were out of town for the weekend and asked if we could pay them on Sunday when we got back. They told her "NO" and that they could not help her and that she had to leave because the dogs were upsetting the other customers. Anybody that would turn away two dogs full of porcupine quills is clearly only in it for the money. She then called Evergreen Animal Hospital, they told her to calm down and come over right away they would take care of the dogs. They ended up charging $285.00 total....yes you read that right.

We are lucky to have found Elk Meadow Veterinarian Clinic. Ill try to keep our long winded story somewhat short. Our 9-year old Papillon has decided that, in her quest to eat EVERT}YTHING, she and we would be left with some messy situations. We had her taken to the Emergency Vet on multiple occasions. Each time, their diagnosis was Giardia, probably due to ingesting some bacteria laden leaf, stick or otherwise. Then, after these symptoms kept coming back(about every 6 months). She would become listless, unresponsive and sick. Dr. Jason had a suspicious, but didnt want to get too far ahead of himself. Finally, just a few days ago, he was able to give us a positive diagnosis. She is now Addisonian, or a carrier of Addisons disease. He is hopeful that his course of treatment will help her continue a longer life. Thanks to his proactive suspicions and recommendations, well have our dog longer, hopefully.

Jason is very personable and knowledgeable and made me feel confident from the first visit. I have 2 dogs who are patients of his, and I feel very confident in Jasons knowledge and care for them. My son went to him after adopting his first dog and recommended Jason to us for our rescued puppy, and I was so comfortable with Jason that I am continuing care for our first rescue puppy and our second rescue puppy with him. Our first puppy had a heart murmur, and Jason helped us work with the rescue organization to delay her mandatory spaying until the murmur had a chance to resolve itself so that the anesthesia during surgery would not be a risk for her. He has worked with us through our second puppys UTI, while not over-prescribing or recommending numerous unnecessary tests. I feel very comfortable recommending him to my friends with their beloved pets.

After visiting Elk Meadow for the first time, I could not be more pleased. They were extremely accommodating on appointment time, confirmed my appointment and were ready to see me the second I walked in. I signed up for their vaccines for life program which easily pays for itself within 2 years of regular dog vaccinations. They also do their heart worm and fecal tests onsite so we were able to walk out of the appointment knowing that he had a clean bill of health. When my dog came back to the exam room from his tests and vaccinations he couldnt have been more happy. He was absolutely in love with the staff and didnt want to leave. I would recommend Elk Meadow to anyone looking for a vet that is great with both animals and their owners!

Our 85 pound retriever blew out his ACL in his rear right knee. Both doctors were very patient in explaining our options and the costs involved. They also provided references from other patients that had faced the same issue - that was really helpful as one ended up being our neighbor. We ended up having surgery and it went very, very well. Our dog was on his feet quickly. Physical therapy went well as the clinic has an underwater treadmill - its pretty cool and our dog, being a retriever, loved getting in it! The surgery was over a year ago, and our dog runs, cuts, jumps better than ever. I highly recommend this clinic!

I take whatever opportunity I can to tell everyone about the great care and kind service I have always received at Elk Meadow. Dr Jason is very knowledgeable and updated on the latest findings and care strategies. My giant dog is a bit of a sissy. Everyone at the office does whatever it takes to make him feel as comfortable as possible and make sure he has the best visit he can. The free vaccinations for life is a tremendous program and not just some gimmick. These are the kind of people you know by name and say hello to on the street, the folks who sleep at the clinic with your animal after surgery - or take them home.

I cant say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. I have taken my two rescue cats here for a couple of years now and they have always received personal and gentle care. The incentive to continue care (pay a flat rate and have vaccines for free for the life of the animal) is a stroke of genius. I have had dental work done on one of my kitties and could not be happier with the results. Cat is happy and healthy and eating well. A friend of mine takes her Corgie in for water treadmill therapy for weak back legs. She loves it! I give The vets a high five on this one. And their staff, too!

Been using Elk Meadow Vet for around 2 years now. I am the owner of a 5 year old 100lb GSD (German Shepherd Dog). I have been using there wellness bloodwork and exams since Ive been going there. I treat our GSD like one of the family, so knowing his yearly checkups and blood work are good gives me total piece of mind! Having the ability to spot something before hand will also mean a much more healthy lifestyle for my best friend. The staff is always friendly and smiling and Dr. Kutz always has a answer for my questions. Its good to know my GSD is in the best of hands!!

The entire practice and the staff are just the Best in Evergreen. Take advantage of the Free Vaccinations for Life and you will be delighted to have this team on your pets side. My dog has had several surgeries for a number of injuries and EMVH always comes through. Hes also a huge sissy - They accommodate him with a gentle touch, patience and enough treats to choke a horse. He often needs to be muzzled but they treat him like the terrified gentle giant he is. I have already referred 3 people to this practice and they feel the same way.

Moved here from Bend, Oregon and thought I would never find that special vet as I had there. But Elk Meadow Vet went over and beyond with a friendly, compassionate crew. Felt like they were family right away. I have a pet who was abused at 6/8 weeks, prior to me adopting him. And now coming up to 10 years young, he still has a shyness around new people he meets. Elk Meadow Vets doctor and staff gave my little Tux a warm, caring, kind exam, making us both feel comfortable to where were so happy to continue using them as our family vet.
